Hydro region in Genshin Impact – Fontaine
Fontaine - A hydro kingdom whose inhabitants worship the Archon of Judgment Focalors. Beauty and elegance are valued above all else in the region, while at the same time boasting significant advances in technology development. It is here that a fairly popular newspaper called "Steam Bird" is issued, which covers events taking place on the entire continent.
However, the water kingdom also has a “dark” side: an unfair and cruel judicial system, material inequality between the above and below ground parts (Pneuma and Usiya factions). How to get to Fontaine

What does Fontaine look like?

Fontaine characters in Genshin Impact

Hydro Archon Furina

Fontaine's Mechanics and Mysteries
During the exploration of locations, you will encounter special mechanics, challenges and puzzles:
- Hydrogranules - magic items that, when merged, form a core that imposes the "Wet" effect on all nearby objects. Fusion requires 3 Granums, but even if they are not enough, they can still become a core if the character is under the influence of Hydro.
- Beast Rift - a mini-test, in which you will need to attack the monsters trying to destroy the crystal.

Diving and underwater mechanics
Fontaine has a brand new diving mechanicsallowing you to explore the sea. Like many other territories, the underwater world has its own unique features:

Energies of Pneuma and Usiya, pneumusia
There are forces in Fontaine pneuma и ousia - special types of energy that interact with each other in different ways. They are contained in the elemental skills of the characters, are used to solve puzzles and trigger various mechanisms.
According to the form Eyes of God you can understand which faction the hero belongs to: rounded - ousia, triangular - Pneuma.
Each type of energy will have to be encountered repeatedly while traveling through the Hydro Kingdom:
- Battle. Some enemies have one of the elements. For example, automatons, depending on the energy characteristics, provide amplifications for other mechanoids. To neutralize them, you need to strike with the opposite energy. That is, an opponent with the element of Usiya needs to be attacked with the skill of a character related to Pneuma in order to cause paralysis.
- Pneumonia block. Energy blocks are similarly divided into 2 types of energy. They are released when you make a normal, charged strike or fall attack.
- Pneumonia storage box. If you determine which energy characteristic corresponds to the box, and then apply the appropriate attack, you can get access to it.
