What are Hidden Claws in Genshin Impact
Hidden Claws are character development items, remnants of bodily tissue belonging to the wolves of the Rift. They drop from Rip Puppies and Rip Hounds in quantity and quality depending on the level of the world. Hidden Sharpened Claw can be obtained from opponents from level 40, and enemies above level 60 will drop all three types of claws: hidden, sharpened and devilish.

There are Gap Wolves on Tsurumi Island. Mostly monsters gather on the west coast, where there are the most of them.

These opponents gain rage in battle. The tactic against them is to hit them with elemental reactions. Mobs supposedly have resistance to the element they attack with - therefore opposite and reactive elements will be the best choice in dealing with them. Under the influence of the attack of any element, Puppies and Hounds fall into a state Element Devourerin which they become more ferocious, but resistance to the corresponding element goes down.
Attack them quickly, as these opponents can move and are quite strong. Thundereater's claw attacks deal Electro damage to the character, so Electro Resistance can also come in handy.
What are Hidden Claws for in Genshin Impact?
Hidden Claws, like other resources dropped by enemies, are needed to exalt weapons:
- polar Star (onion)
- Akuomaru (two-handed sword)
- wave cutting fin (a spear)
- Redhorn Stonethresher (two-handed sword)
