Top Genshin Impact Best Characters: Hero Tier List for March 2025 [Patch 5.5]

tier list genshin

Tier list of characters Genshin impact is a special system for assessing the abilities of each hero. The rating is divided into six categories, from the strongest to the weakest companions, and is designed to help players choose who to knock out and pump. Each rank includes both damage dealers and supports for survival or strengthening the squad.

In our top of the best heroes of Genshin Impact positions are formed from their actual potential, related to general game mechanics, the number of possible units and required investments, as well as ease of use.

Some epic or legendary heroes whose power changes significantly on constellations have two consts next to their name in the table. The first one indicates the one starting from which the hero can be used, and the second one is recommended for full implementation. If a character is mentioned in the tier list only at C6, it means that without a full constellation, he does not work well enough for his role and, until it is open, it is better to choose another companion. Also, some heroes are mentioned in two positions depending on the constellations and the role in the squad.

Genshin Impact Hero Tier List

This rating reflects the overall picture, not each individual case. A properly pumped C-rank companion in some situations can be no less effective than one who belongs to the S-position. Monthly update Abyss often requires completely different characters, and Imaginarium Theater is tied to the use of certain elements, so almost every hero can be used if desired. Focus on the teams you have already assembled, your play style, and plans for further account development to knock out the most beneficial characters for yourself.

We offer average rating, which is relevant for most players. Each hero has a description of its position in the tier list to help decide how well it will fit your account. Share your opinion in commentsso that other readers of our site can learn more from experienced players.

If you need spins to knock out meta characters, you can donate to donatov.net to purchase primogems by UID.

S+ Grade Characters

Heroes of this position stand out, depending on their role, by high damage, ease of use, versatility or rare mechanics that cannot be found among other characters. They are suitable for almost any account and will benefit the player, making it much easier for him to complete the content, and they can always be used.

Mavuika

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapon: two-handed sword
  • Element: Pyro
  • Role: primary and secondary damage dealer
  • Hyde: Mavuiki build
  • Optimal constellation: С2

Contrary to the established tradition of game Archons, Mavuika is not a support, but the main damage dealer. Enormous damage from normal and charged attacks during the elemental explosion makes Pyro Archon the top-1 damage dealer of his element. However, Mavuika still has support skills: a buff of the active character with a passive ability and an E-shka, which imposes Pyro off the field, allows the heroine to play as a sub-DD in some squads.

It is very important to take into account the key feature of Mavuika: to activate the ultimate, she does not need energy, but a set of Fighting Spirit points. You can collect it through the use of characters from Natlan or by using normal attacks with the active character. In a team with Pyro Archon, there must be at least one character from her region, otherwise it is difficult to fully play as Mavuika.

Shilonen

Shilonen in Genshin Impact

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapon: one-handed sword
  • Element: Geo
  • Role: support
  • Hyde: Shilonen build
  • Optimal constellation: С2

One of the best supports in the game, who debuffs by cutting off enemy resistances, heals allies and can wear a very useful set Scroll of the Hero of the Burnt City. The heroine plays well with Electro, Hydro, Cryo and Pyro elements, but does not interact with Anemo or Dendro, and is also not very useful for mono-Geo squads at C0.

All of Shilonen's abilities, including those that deal damage, scale off defense. This makes her build much easier, without forcing her to choose between a support or sub-DD build. The heroine's second const is considered one of the strongest in the game, as it provides huge buffs to allies.

Arlekino

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapon: a spear
  • Element: Pyro
  • Role: main damage
  • Hyde: Harlequin build
  • Optimal constellation: С0

A spearwoman with an unusual “Life Debt” mechanic, who deals the main damage in the team, while preferring to play without healers. It has very high damage, can be used both in mono-Pyro and in reaction commands, and requires standard attack power and crits as stats. However, for full implementation it needs a signature set, which strengthens it much more than alternative options or hodgepodge. Additional advantages include independence from constellations: they enhance it in pure numbers, but do not hide a change in mechanics in a more pleasant direction.

Neuvillette

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapon: catalyst
  • Element: Hydro
  • Role: main damage
  • Hyde: Nevillet build
  • Optimal constellation: С1

The main damage dealer with powerful Hydro damage and unusual mechanics of charged attacks. The gameplay for him cannot be called dynamic - he charges the attack for a long time and moves slowly while the ability is active. At the same time, high damage and simple rotation allow you to play at a calm pace. To maximize damage, Nevillet needs characters of at least two different elements in the squad, since he gains stacks of passive through reactions that enhance charged attacks.

Without the first constellation, he is extremely vulnerable to crowd control effects, so he requires a shield in the team to gain resistance to interruption. However, due to the ability to self-heal while picking up drops, Nevillet can be called one of the most durable and comfortable characters. And due to the fact that he is not just a primary damage dealer, but rather a hyper-carry, his allies rarely require high investments in themselves, making it easier to assemble a squad.

Bennett

Bennett

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: one-handed sword
  • Element: Pyro
  • Role: support
  • Hyde: Bennet build
  • Optimal constellation:  С1

A great support character, valuable for his elemental burst "Turning Adventure". With this talent, a fiery area is created, inside which the health of active allies is restored, and the attack power is increased. Depending on the weapon, the buff can leave more than 800 units of attack power, which greatly increases the damage dealt.

In addition, due to his Pyro elemental affiliation and his passive ability that reduces E-type cooldown while in the ultimate zone, Bennett is a great match for other Pyro characters. He can close elemental resonance and help with energy gain if an ally has an expensive ultimate.

Furina

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapon: one-handed sword
  • Element: Hydro
  • Role: secondary damage dealer and support
  • Hyde: Furina build
  • Optimal constellation: C2

Furina is a versatile character who is mostly played from the pocket. She copes well with the role of a support-buffer and fits into almost any team where the increase in damage and Hydro status are useful, and at the same time, she is a strong sub-DD with a special playstyle. The key element of the Archon's mechanics, as a secondary damage dealer, is the constant absorption of HP of the entire squad.

The main advantage of the character is that all skills scale from health, which is why the priority stats in builds do not change. In addition, summons from her E-shka attack automatically, which, unlike some other Hydro sub-DDs, allows her to play with a main DD from charged attacks, elemental skills or elemental explosions. Teams with Furina may only need an additional source of healing, allowing you to quickly gain stacks of fanfares.

Xiangling

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: a spear
  • Element: Pyro
  • Role: secondary damage dealer
  • Hyde: Xiangling build
  • Optimal constellation: С4

Xiangling is a standard character, available to all players early in the game, which does not reduce her usefulness. Despite the fact that the heroine is better revealed on constellations, like many epic characters, she is already quite strong at C0. Xiangling rightfully takes the place of the best Pyro applicator in the game, since she is the most versatile. In some teams, she can be replaced by Mavuika or Dehyey, but the first one will show itself better as a main DD, and the second one gives much less status, so for most squads Xiangling still does not have a full-fledged alternative.

Xiangling is fairly player-friendly, as she only needs to use her ult on cooldown to be useful. However, finding a truly powerful build can take time, as Xiangling needs crits, energy regeneration, and elemental mastery in teams from the reaction of Steam.

Xingqiu

Xingqiu

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: one-handed sword
  • Element: Hydro
  • Role: secondary damage dealer
  • Hyde: Xingqiu build
  • Optimal constellation: С6

A virtually universal character who effectively deals Hydro damage with his skills. Elemental Explosion summons special water Rain Swords, which are triggered when the active character uses normal attacks, reducing incoming damage and increasing resistance to interruption. In addition, after the ult ends, these swords restore a small amount of health to the active hero, increasing overall survivability.

Due to all these abilities, Xingqiu is an indispensable ally for squads where the main DD/Driver hits with normal attacks from the hand and a stable Hydro status is needed under reactions. Often these are teams with a Pyro main DD or groups with the reaction of Charged or Vegetation.

Shogun Raiden (Baal)

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: a spear
  • Element: electro
  • Role: primary and secondary damage dealer
  • Hyde: Shogun Raiden build
  • Optimal constellation: С2

Raiden can act both as a squad driver, mainly playing with characters who deal damage from the pocket, and as a sub-deader for exploding buds. Among the main advantages of the heroine are the restoration of energy to allies, high explosive damage from the ult and a stable Electro status. The Archon performs well in both revolver and hyper-carry squads, especially if there are suitable supports.

Due to this versatility, Raiden is easy to find a use for on the account. Her strongest driver team, the "national", consists of epic heroes. Hyper-carry squads are more difficult, as they require more resources and, as a rule, attention to detail when performing rotation, but they give out especially impressive numbers. If there are Dendro heroes on the account, you can use Raiden's E-shka to explode buds, simply by gaining the maximum amount of elemental mastery.

Zhongli

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: a spear
  • Element: Geo
  • Role: support
  • Hyde: Zhongli build
  • Optimal constellation:  С0

Has the most powerful shield in the game and passively increases the damage of allies by cutting off physical and elemental resistances of enemies. Universal and independent of constellations, it is one of the best and most profitable supports in the game. Depending on the invested resources and the squad, the ult can be used as an additional source of damage, hitting enemies for 100k+, or ignored altogether to save time in battles.

One of the key advantages of Geo Archon is his complete independence from the set of artifacts, he does not even need to collect full sets, limiting himself to pieces with the largest number of HP% sub-stats. If you want to squeeze the maximum benefit out of the character, there are many options to choose from, suitable for different squads.

Kazuha

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: one-handed sword
  • Element: Anemo
  • Role: Support
  • Hyde: build Kazuha
  • Optimal constellation: С2

Is one of the best support characters. Has an extremely strong C2, but is not dependent on constellations and is playable already at C0. In the build, it requires only the Viridescent Venerer set for elemental mastery, and there are enough free options for weapons. With such investments, he easily reduces enemy resistances, pulls enemies into a decent radius, deals good damage from Dispersion and pours an affix for elemental damage to allies.

Ye Lan

Ye Lan in Genshin Impact

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: onion
  • Element: Hydro
  • Role: secondary damage dealer
  • Hyde: Ye Lan build
  • Optimal constellation: С0

Ye Lan is one of the strongest secondary damage dealers in the game, as well as a convenient Hydro applicator and buffer. She can fit into almost any team where the main damage dealer deals damage with normal attacks, since they are needed to activate her ult. For the same reason, Ye Lan does not combine well with heroes that attack with charged attacks or skills, which somewhat reduces her versatility and the ability to use with many characters, such as Mavuika from charged attacks, Mizuki, Mualani, Chaska, and so on. In addition, there are few stable Hydro applicators in the game at the moment - Ye Lan can only be fully replaced by Xingqiu, much less often by Furina or Kokomi.

Aside from her abilities, Ye Lan is convenient due to her build. Due to her HP skill scales, she is generally easier to build than other characters, her weapon can be given as a Favonius bow, and her artifacts are obtained in one of the most popular dungeons and crafted in Alchemy.

Nahida

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: catalyst
  • Element: Dendro
  • Role: secondary damage dealer
  • Hyde: Nahida build
  • Optimal constellation: С0

Nahida is one of the best and irreplaceable characters for almost any Dendro squad. She is able to impose a strong Dendro status on enemies, which is activated every time an elemental reaction is closed on an enemy. The Ultimate is useful for an active character who needs to increase the MS indicator, since it buffs it to this stat depending on Nahida's own amount of Elemental Mastery.

Due to the prevailing scales from elemental mastery, there are two build options: in Dendro, damage or elemental mastery, which are approximately equal in damage. Ideally, build a hybrid option, which has her additional crit chance from the passive, but Nahida is not picky and is able to show good results in any build.

Citlali

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapon: catalyst
  • Element: Cryo
  • Role: support
  • Hyde: Sitlali build
  • Optimal constellation: С2

Sitlali is a Cryo shielder with elemental mastery scales. Her key feature is a buff that reduces enemy resistance to Pyro and Hydro damage when Melt or Freeze reactions occur. Depending on the team, such as with two Fire damage dealers, she can even do high damage of her own, striking Cryo enemies with attacks on stable Pyro status.

However, for Cryo squads, she is not the best option, since she is practically useless for this element, and in a Cryo + Hydro team, she will only benefit Hydro characters. Her shield is about top 2-3 in the game, which is compensated by the ability to buff and contribute damage. With the presence of constellations (C1, C2), her buffs only become more powerful.

S-rank characters

These heroes are close to the top of the ranking, since in the process of their development you can achieve no less effective squad than with representatives of the S+ rank. However, to unlock their potential, they will have to spend more resources, and in terms of the comfort of the game and the variety of possible units, they may be inferior to characters of a higher rank. Any of the listed heroes will be a useful acquisition for your account, but not so necessary and easy to use.

Varesa

Varesa

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: two-handed sword
  • Element: electro
  • Role: main damage
  • Hyde: Varesa build
  • Optimal constellation: С2

Varesa belongs to the group of Plunge Damage Dealers, standing out from them due to the mechanics of Natlan. The heroine's strength depends significantly on her allies: when using the signature support Iansan, the girl can set records for damage inflicted and be considered one of the best Electro main DDs. However, on an account with a limited set of heroes, it will not be possible to fully reveal the heroine.

The mechanics of the plunge attacks themselves add to the difficulty, preventing her from playing with the strongest supports in the game. Varesa will cover all content if you invest in her, but for uninvolved players she is not the best option for knocking out.

Hu Tao

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: a spear
  • Element: Pyro
  • Role: main damage
  • Hyde: Hu Tao build
  • Optimal constellation: С1

One of the strongest attacking characters, dealing damage to both a single target and several enemies. The combat tactics are based on constantly keeping Hu Tao's HP within critically low values, because when losing health, this heroine increases her own attack power, which forces her to play exclusively with shielders. A constant Pyro effect on opponents can be imposed by an elemental skill, and you can heal in critical situations with a ghost that appears during an elemental explosion.

Despite the fact that Hu Tao has long held the lead among Pyro main-DD, now she still lost to Arlecchino and Mavuika. Harbinger, although she has a similar game principle, is not so dependent on the first const, and Pyro Archon has more powerful buttons and simple attachments. Because of this, although in terms of pure damage Hu Tao is almost not behind them, the heroine is in a lower position.

Mualani

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapon: catalyst
  • Element: Hydro
  • Role: main damage
  • Hyde: Mualani build
  • Optimal constellation: С0

Mualani deals most of her damage through normal attacks and has damage scales based on HP. Her skills are based on playing through Steam, and her mechanics allow her to close reactions with every hit, so she is best paired with Pyro heroes.

Due to her high health, Mualani is easier to play, as she has a higher survivability than attack power characters. There are also many suitable supports in the game with whom she can realize herself, so it is easy to find a strong squad for her. Due to the low need for Pyro status, she does not require the best Pyro sub-DDs and can show good results with less popular heroes.

Kinich

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapon: two-handed sword
  • Element: Dendro
  • Role: main damage
  • Hyde: Kinich build
  • Optimal constellation: С0

Kinich plays primarily in Burning and Blooming squads, as he receives a damage buff from these reactions. He brings in the main damage through the use of E-shki and ult. Regular attacks are also used in rotation, but they cause less damage. Due to the way the Burning mechanics work, he does not need elemental mastery, so he will not require Nahida in his squad to maximize his potential.

Due to this, Kinich is the best choice for the position of the second Dendro damage dealer in situations where the account already has one. He only needs Pyro allies, among which there are enough free options with which he can give more than decent damage and close the content.

Bai Zhu

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: catalyst
  • Element: Dendro
  • Role: Support
  • Hyde: bai zhu build
  • Optimal constellation:  С0

Bai Zhu combines the roles of a healer and a reaction buffer, which makes him a popular choice for Dendro teams, especially when playing through Vegetation. Although his shield is rather symbolic, this is compensated by fairly stable and comfortable healing, as well as an increase in resistance to interruption of the active character's attacks.

For squads focused on other elemental damage, there are often better alternatives, but in Dendro builds, Bai Zhu is practically irreplaceable. In addition, he does not require large investments and copes well with his task even without constellations and legendary gear. In secondary stats, for the support role, it is enough to gain HP and energy regeneration, but the preference for the sub-DD position will force you to take constellations and carefully balance stats.

Al-Haytham

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: one-handed sword
  • Element: Dendro
  • Role: main damage
  • Hyde: building of al-Haytham
  • Optimal constellation:  С0

Al-Haytham is one of the strongest Dendro main DDs, who shows himself well in squads through reactions thanks to the scales from Elemental Mastery. Of all the Dendro groups, he prefers options through Vegetation and Stimulation. At the same time, his build is quite close to the builds of "classic" damage dealers through crits, except that Al-Haytham in most situations will choose Elemental Mastery rather than attack power.

Flexibility against single targets and groups of enemies is also an incomparable plus for this hero. However, he has a rather complex mechanic for accumulating and spending mirrors, so he requires getting used to the mechanics and rotations to achieve maximum damage. In addition, although most of his best allies are of epic rarity, Al-Haytham does not have such a wide selection of weapons.

Navia

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: two-handed sword
  • Element: Geo
  • Role: primary and secondary damage dealer
  • Hyde: Navia build
  • Optimal constellation: С0

A strong Geo damage dealer who plays from Crystallization, but at the same time does not abandon the usual builds for players due to the attack and crit. Thanks to the element and gameplay tied to the reaction of Crystallization, the heroine can act as a hyper-carry from her own stats, and perform the role of a sub-DD and buffer with the help of the Archaic Stone set.

In most of her best teams, she plays as the main active hero on the field, but in some cases, she can enter the fight only to reset her ult and E. This significantly expands the list of teams in which she will show herself well. The head of Spina di Rosula plays best with Pyro, Electro, Hydro and Cryo allies, as she gets a buff to her attack power from them and fully implements the Crystallize mechanic. These skills make her the most relevant Geo main DD.

Kokomi

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: catalyst
  • Element: Hydro
  • Role: support
  • Hyde: build Kokomi
  • Optimal constellation: С0

Kokomi is a great support character with a huge amount of healing that will restore health to the entire squad or a specific character in a matter of seconds. Considered one of the most convenient and useful healers in the game with minimal investment (it is enough to collect everything in HP and energy recovery).

Despite the lack of a crit chance stat, which prevents her from hitting noticeably, she is quite capable of dealing good damage, especially with a set. Mollusk of sea colors. Although Kokomi's Hydro status is not very high, it is enough for some damage dealers, and using the catalyst as a weapon opens the way for her to become a weapon buffer. Dragon Slayer Epic. Due to this, Kokomi is a very desirable ally for teams with Freeze, Bud, Charge and groups with main DD from attack power.

Chaska

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: onion
  • Element: Anemo
  • Role: main damage
  • Hyde: Chaska's build
  • Optimal constellation: С1

Chaska is an Anemo damage dealer who stands out from other similar characters by not playing through pure Anemo damage or Dispel, but by coloring her attacks with other elements. For this reason, she needs strong sub-DDs with a good mix of reactions to stack elements, and no Geo or Dendro allies.

Playing through Anemo Resonance and Anemo Buffers is not very suitable for Chaska, at least on C0. Bullets that have not been repainted into one or another element have much lower damage multipliers, so building Chaska into a hyper-carry is not particularly profitable. Also, a significant difference between Chaska and most main DDs is that she does not care about the strength of the elemental status of sub-DD hits, she is satisfied with their belonging to the Pyro, Hydro, Cryo or Electro elements.

Emilia

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: a spear
  • Element: Dendro
  • Role: secondary damage dealer
  • Hyde: Emilia build
  • Optimal constellation: С0

Emilia plays the role of a secondary damage dealer of the Elemental Dendro in teams from Burning. She has quite high damage of her own, to realize which it is enough to place her in a squad with a constant reaction of Burning, a simple build with a large number of suitable weapons and teams. Despite her situational nature, in suitable teams she shows extremely good results, which justifies her knockout.

However, Emilia is not a character that "revitalizes" the Burn reaction for any Pyro or Dendro heroes. Her skills do not have any built-in buffs for allies, and she mostly serves as a reliable sub-DD, providing a large amount of Dendro element off the field.

Lyney

  • Rarity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
  • Weapons: onion
  • Element: Pyro
  • Role: main damage
  • Hyde: line build
  • Optimal constellation: С1

A character who plays from his charged attacks and occupies the position of the main Pyro damager. Lini is able to show himself well in squads through reactions, but all his skills are still aimed at playing with other Pyro heroes. His passive increases damage to enemies under the influence of this element and depending on the number of characters of this element in the squad. Despite some limitations of the hero in application, he compensates for this with high damage scales, a large number of F2P allies and friendliness to the choice among epic weapons.

Mona

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: catalyst
  • Element: Hydro
  • Role: secondary damage dealer and support
  • Hyde: Mona build
  • Optimal constellation:  С0

Despite the fact that Mona is a standard character, even in the current high-level content she is able to act as a strong support for other damage dealers due to the help in reactions and Omen. The heroine will not be able to provide enough Hydro status on her own for characters who are very demanding of it, but she can become a buffer and close Hydro resonance. In addition, she perfectly fulfills her role in squads through Freeze, in some teams with Pyro heroes she can even act as an ultimate.

Mona is not at all demanding of her equipment, as in most cases she wears the Buffer Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers. However, with a decent balance of crits and the presence of legendary weapons, the character easily takes the position of a damage dealer.

Shen He

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: a spear
  • Element: Cryo
  • Role: withapport and secondary damage dealer
  • Hyde: Shen He build
  • Optimal constellation: С2

Shen He is a support character who acts as both a sub-DD and a buffer. She only buffs Cryo-elemental heroes, so her teams are strictly limited to having at least one strong Cryo-elemental hero who can implement the buffs.

While Shen He is unique in her role and has virtually no alternatives other than Rosaria to some extent, this indispensability is also her downside as she will provide little utility outside of her signature teams. However, if the main strength of an account is Cryo characters, Shen He will be the best choice for them as she is virtually unpretentious in her build and only needs attack power and energy regeneration.

Yae Miko

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: catalyst
  • Element: electro
  • Role: secondary damage dealer
  • Hyde: Yae Miko build
  • Optimal constellation:  С0

Yae Miko is mostly a secondary damage dealer in squads, but with proper leveling and a lot of investment she can become a main damage dealer. She is quite easy to use and deals high damage both from her pocket and from her ult on the field, making her not only a useful Electro applicator, but also an additional source of damage. Although Yae Miko is significantly strengthened by the presence of a signature weapon, it is not necessary for her, since it can be replaced with free options.

A significant drawback of Yae Miko is her totems, which take time to place and disappear after using her ult. The heroine plays best in teams with Dendro characters, but if desired, she can also be used in squads from other reactions, such as Charged and Overload.

Ororon

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: onion
  • Element: electro
  • Role: secondary damage dealer
  • Hyde: Ororon build
  • Optimal constellation: С6

Ororon acts as a sub-DD through the reaction of Charged, partially acting as a buffer. Due to the set Scroll of the Hero of the Burnt City The young man shows himself excellently not only in Hydro-Electro teams, but also in any squads capable of carrying out an elemental reaction and requiring an elemental buff.

Ororon has a fairly stable Electro status and the ability to buff allies with attack power. He is suitable as a sub-DD, for example, instead of Fischl or Beidou, although due to the difference in some functions, he plays differently and does not cover the same needs as they do.

Chevreuse

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: a spear
  • Element: Pyro
  • Role: support
  • Hyde: Chevreuse build
  • Optimal constellation: С6

Chevreuse is a support character for Overload squads. Her passive abilities reduce Pyro and Electro resistance of enemies if the team only has Electro and Pyro characters, as well as increase attack power and give bonus damage to these elements to allies at C6. In addition, her healing mechanic allows her to simultaneously occupy the healer slot, freeing up space for more useful heroes.

For hyper-carry squads, the heroine can easily replace other important buffers, such as Kazuha. However, despite the power of her buffs, teams that fully implement Chevreuse are quite monotonous and not always convenient. If you pump the heroine for a certain Pyro or Electro damager, she will provide him with a significant buff, but outside of the Overload mechanics and Pyro and Electro elements, Chevreuse is not an indispensable and priority hero in pumping.

Xian Yun

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: catalyst
  • Element: Anemo
  • Role: support
  • Hyde: Guardian of the Clouds build
  • Optimal constellation: С0

Xian Yun is a support character with high damage output, while simultaneously covering the healer, sub-DD and buffer slots, allowing almost any character to play from attacks while falling. Due to good healing, she easily ensures the survivability of the team, and is best combined with main-DD Pyro, Hydro, Cryo and Electro elements due to her own Anemo element, the ability to create a Dispersion reaction and wear a set emerald shadow.

However, it is worth considering that not all characters can play from plunge attacks (the exceptions are often heroes with a stance mechanic, for example, Ayato и Tartaglia), and not all heroes have high damage scales on falling attacks. Thus, Xian Yun can bring a lot of benefits to an account, but it cannot be called universal and necessary for knocking out.

Clorinda

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: one-handed sword
  • Element: electro
  • Role: main damage
  • Hyde: Clorinda build
  • Optimal constellation: С0

Clorinda is the main damage dealer in the squad, with most of her damage coming from regular attacks. The character activates a stance in combat, during which she attacks opponents with musket shots, which greatly simplifies her rotation. In addition, most of Clorinda's skills depend on the Life Debt negative effect, which is applied by both the duelist herself and the healers on the team.

With the appearance of Ororon in the game, who can serve as both a buffer and a battery for Clorinda, the heroine began to shine with new colors. At the moment, she confidently holds the position of a good damage dealer, and, in addition, is very friendly to various builds, including F2P players.

Jean

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: one-handed sword
  • Element: Anemo
  • Role: support
  • Hyde: build Genie
  • Optimal constellation:  С0

Despite the fact that Djinn was greatly underestimated at release, with the release of Furina, the heroine began to consistently occupy high positions. Due to the powerful healing of the entire team at once, she is extremely advantageous as a healer, and belonging to the Anemo element allows you to wear the Viridescent Venerer set and cut off enemy resistances.

Thus, she will perform two roles instead of one: a debuffer and a healer. C4 opens access to the role of a support for Anemo damage dealers, and C2 increases the attack power stat of allies by 15%. However, her pull is quite weak compared to most other Anemo heroes, so it is better not to take Djinn into battles against a group of enemies.

Lan Yan

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: catalyst
  • Element: Anemo
  • Role: support
  • Hyde: Lan Yan build
  • Optimal constellation: С6

Lan Yan is an Anemo shielder from attack power, who colors her shield in the element from enemies and increases resistance to it. Up to C6, the heroine has problems with skill uptime, but the second charge on E-shka allows her to add comfort and survivability to the game. Lan Yan plays well with Hydro and Electro allies as a driver, and among her passive talents there is an additional boost from elemental mastery.

As a classic shielder from the pocket, she shows herself no worse, occupying the top 2-3 position in terms of shield strength. However, one should not reduce all the benefits of Lan Yan to the shield: as a representative of the Anemo element, she cuts off the resistance of enemies, which at the moment only one other shielder, Zhongli, can do.

Sucrose

Sucrose

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: catalyst
  • Element: Anemo
  • Role: support
  • Hyde: Sucrose build
  • Optimal constellation: С6

Sucrose rightfully occupies the position of one of the best supports in the game of Anemo elements, in addition, it has an epic rarity. It is extremely beneficial for teams from elemental reactions between Hydro, Pyro, Cryo or Electro heroes, since it pours part of its elemental mastery to its allies. This allows you to increase their MS stat to 300 units.

The downsides include an expensive ult, for which you will have to gain a lot of energy recovery, and a significant bonus to elemental damage only on the last constellation. For mono-squads, there are better alternatives than Sucrose, but most of the strongest squads in the game are tied to the game through reactions, so there will always be a use for it on the account.

Wriothesley

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: catalyst
  • Element: Cryo
  • Role: main damage
  • Hyde: Risley build
  • Optimal constellation: С1

A versatile Cryo damager, especially good in Melting squads. It can't be called essential for an account, but it completely covers the need for a damager of this element. The main characteristic for critical damage significantly simplifies the selection of artifacts and stat balancing, but together with the use of a full signature set and the Treasury Oversight weapon, problems with an excess of critical chance may arise.

However, at C0 Risley can't show good enough results for S-rank, and without constellations he holds rather A-position. Opening the first constellation allows him to become a consistently good damage dealer and is highly recommended if you plan to main this hero.

Tiori

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: one-handed sword
  • Element: Geo
  • Role: secondary and primary damage dealer
  • Hyde: Thiori build
  • Optimal constellation: С1

Has mixed attack and defense scales, but relies more on the second stat. At C0, she is highly team-dependent and needs allies who can place Geo structures, which significantly narrows the range of good teams. However, due to higher scales than her closest competitor, Albedo, produces higher damage.

In addition, thanks to Geo infusion from the passive, it has good potential in main DD, but this requires high-quality artifacts or the presence of the sixth constellation.

Nile

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: one-handed sword
  • Element: Hydro
  • Role: primary and secondary damage dealer
  • Hyde: Nilu build
  • Optimal constellation: C0-C2

Nilu's gameplay is notable for the fact that she plays exclusively through Budification with other Hydro characters and the Dendro element, since otherwise her passives are disabled. On the one hand, this provides an opportunity to fully play through this rare reaction, on the other hand, it greatly limits the heroine in possible squads, since there are very few suitable Dendro characters for team diversity. Some of them are often busy in other groups, while others play through other reactions (for example, Kinich and Emilia through Burning). In addition, Nilu's strength is significantly increased at C2, which makes her a strong debuffer for her teams.

Nila is fairly easy to build, since she only needs HP to summon cores. But if you want to make her your main damage dealer through other reactions without relying on Budding, then the character immediately becomes many times more demanding, since it is difficult to balance HP, Elemental Mastery, Crit. damage and Crit. chance at once. Overall, there is little point in an alternative build, because there are many other, more profitable crit Hydro main DDs.

Fischl

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: onion
  • Element: electro
  • Role: secondary damage dealer
  • Hyde: build Fischl
  • Optimal constellation: С6

Fischl is a versatile secondary damage dealer, who is taken into teams mainly as an Electro element applicator. The heroine does not need to be on the battlefield for a long time, quickly using her skills and going back to the "pocket", which allows for more opportunities to open up the main damage dealer. With the right use of the raven's abilities, Fischl can stand on the field for almost the entire battle, which gives a constant Electro status for reactions.

Despite its convenience, Fischl requires a sixth constellation to be fully deployed, which provides even more Electro applications from the main damage dealer's attacks and extends Oz's life. It combines best with characters that can deliver quick strikes and provide a base for Electro reactions.

Kuki Shinobu

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: one-handed sword
  • Element: electro
  • Role: support
  • Hyde: Kuki Shinobu build
  • Optimal constellation:  С0

Cookie is an Electro support character that requires less healing as a healer and more stable elemental status to play through reactions. She works best with Dendro heroes through Stimulate and Vegetate due to her Elemental Mastery build, but can easily fit into teams with Charged, Overload, Disperse, or Superconductor that require a lot of Electro status. Despite her advantages, Cookie does not work well with ranged damage dealers like Tignari, as she forces them to get closer to the enemy since her skill only hits within medium range.

Shinobu is an epic character, but unlike the others, she is not too demanding of constellations. She can easily perform her functions even on C0, but the presence of consts significantly simplifies her gameplay, for example, C2, which allows you to press the skill without windows.

yansan

yansan

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: a spear
  • Element: electro
  • Role: support
  • Hyde: build Iansan
  • Optimal constellation: С4

The heroine plays the role of an attack buffer, and if there are allies from Natlan in the team, she can even heal, although the healing from her is not that big and it may not be enough for difficult battles. The boost comes from Iansan's overall attack power, which simplifies the selection of characteristics in artifacts.

Despite the versatility of the stat that Iansan increases, it is not suitable for all damage dealers. The condition requires high mobility of the active character, limiting the range of heroes capable of fully realizing the buff to plunge damage dealers or allies with specific gameplay, constantly moving during the battle. In other combinations, she cannot be called a top-1 support, so Iansan is a strong, but not a universal support character.

A-rank characters

These heroes have high potential, but there are some drawbacks or development difficulties that prevent them from being considered the best for the account. In most cases, they suffer from a lack of versatility or have problems in current content, which makes them weaker than the ones listed above.

Ayaka

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: one-handed sword
  • Element: Cryo
  • Role: main damage
  • Hyde: Ayaka build
  • Optimal constellation: С2

Ayaka is a strong primary Cryo damage dealer, primarily playing off of charged attacks and elemental burst. Her element allows her to play in both Freeze and Melt squads, though with the addition of Risley, this playstyle has become less of a priority. Ayaka benefits from her build, as she does not critically need her signature weapon, which can easily be swapped out for other options.

However, it is not as good against bosses, which are becoming more common in the current content. Freeze does not work on them, which means the main advantage of this style of play is lost. For the same reason, the additional crit chance is reduced when using the set. Lost in a Blizzard and it becomes harder to gain energy, making it much more difficult to play as Ayaka.

Her ultimate, despite the huge damage, has enough disadvantages. Firstly, the high cost of the elemental explosion forces you to collect 130-140% of energy recovery. Secondly, her ultimate attacks strictly in one direction, which makes teams through Freeze more convenient than Melt, since it is easier to hit the statues with a blow.

Ayato

Ayato Kamisato

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: one-handed sword
  • Element: Hydro
  • Role: main damage
  • Hyde: build Ayato
  • Optimal constellation: С0

Ayato deals damage exclusively with normal attacks and Elemental Burst, which has a small built-in buff to basic attacks. Being a Hydro element, while one of the strongest elements in the game at the moment, has worked against him: there are many more profitable alternatives for this character. As a main DD, he has been surpassed by Nevillette and Mualani, and the Hydro status from the ultimate is not good enough for Ayato to compete with Xingqiu or Ye Lan.

However, with decent investment, Ayato still handles current content without any problems. He is extremely easy in gameplay and rotation, has a passive that makes it easier to gain energy for elemental explosions, and is not picky about weapons and artifacts.

Tignari

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: onion
  • Element: Dendro
  • Role: main damage
  • Hyde: build Tignari
  • Optimal constellation: С1

Tignari is one of the best Dendro damage dealers, and is also a standard kit item. Although his shots are considered charged attacks, due to the abilities that reduce the cooldown, he has a very dynamic gameplay. He shows himself best through Stimulation and Dendro-Electro resonances with strong sub-DD, and constellations improve his damage and comfort in play.

It is worth noting that due to the mechanics of Tignari's charged attacks, it is extremely inconvenient to play with those secondary damage dealers whose abilities depend on the use of normal attacks by the active character (Xingqiu, Ye Lan, etc.). This imposes certain restrictions on the construction of teams.

Yun Jin

Yun Jin in Genshin Impact: is it worth spinning the banner

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: a spear
  • Element: Geo
  • Role: support
  • Hyde: Yun Jin build
  • Optimal constellation: С0

The heroine acts as a support for characters who attack with normal attacks. Due to her belonging to the Geo element, Yun Jin can wear the Archaic Stone support set and buff allies for elemental damage, although in a team with physical damage dealers, it is better to prefer the Sweet Dreams Cocoon set. At the moment, there are not many characters in the game whose entire damage depends on normal attacks, but for them, Yun Jin is a stable and reliable ally.

Faruzan

Faruzan in Genshin Impact [best build]

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: onion
  • Element: Anemo
  • Role: support and secondary damage dealer
  • Hyde: build Faruzan
  • Optimal constellation: С6

Faruzan is a support buffer for any Anemo crit damage dealer. Unlike most other Anemo heroes, she focuses on increasing the damage of the Anemo element itself, without the Dispel reaction. Thanks to her ultimate, she reduces enemy resistance by 30%, and also gives bonus damage depending on the talent level. At the same time, her own damage is also quite high, which allows her to play not only as a support, but also as a secondary damage dealer.

Fireplace

Ka Min in Genshin Impact

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: two-handed sword
  • Element: Pyro
  • Role: main damage
  • Hyde: Ka Ming build
  • Optimal constellation: С6

He is the main damage dealer of the squad, quite dependent on the presence of open constellations. Due to the fact that the basis of his damage is attacks in the fall, it requires special rotation when playing with Xingqiu or Ye Lan, but is still a very good and stable damage dealer with all the const. Due to his high base attack and additional stats when ascending, he is easier to balance stats than most other epic main DDs, but it is worth considering that there are not many weapons available for him in the game.

Tartaglia

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: onion
  • Element: Hydro
  • Role: main damage
  • Hyde: Tartaglia build
  • Optimal constellation:  С1

Tartaglia is distinguished by the presence of a special stance, in which he changes his weapon type to daggers. Despite the fact that he occupies the role of main DD in the squad, he can be called a driver to some extent. The Harbinger works exclusively with strong elemental sub-DDs and shows himself quite poorly in hyper-carry groups. Tartaglia is quite difficult to play, especially on mobile devices and without C1, since this requires constant attention to timings so that the E does not go on a long reload.

At the same time, he is very friendly to players at any stage of development, feels great with epic weapons and a hodgepodge of artifacts. Although he can be called a "hostage of one team" (Xiangling, Bennett, Anemo character), this group still perfectly closes all the content.

Ganyu

Ganyu

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: onion
  • Element: Cryo
  • Role: primary and secondary damage dealer
  • Hyde: Ganyu build
  • Optimal constellation: С1

Ganyu can be played as either a main damage dealer or a sub-DD. In the latter case, she is best combined with a Cryo main-DD, since her ultimate buffs the Cryo damage of all heroes in her field. Although Ganyu was a very strong character at release, she has lost ground at the moment. Allies in her best squads are often in demand in other teams, and many players note the heroine's slow gameplay, which will quickly become boring during an active game.

At the same time, Ganyu still produces decent numbers and closes game activities with the right team selection, working well both through Freeze and Melt.

Rosary

Rosary

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: a spear
  • Element: Cryo
  • Role: secondary damage dealer
  • Hyde: Rosary build
  • Optimal constellation: С6

Rosaria acts as a sub-DD. With her ult, she sets up a Cryo field that hits enemies periodically. Rosaria's main feature is her ability to increase the crit chance of allies depending on her own and a quick recharge of her elemental skill. All this makes her a good ally for a Cryo main-DD with expensive ultimates that require a battery.

Venti

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: onion
  • Element: Anemo
  • Role: support
  • Hyde: venti build
  • Optimal constellation: С0

Despite Venti having several alternatives in the game (Kazuha, Sucrose), he is still quite strong and can close down actual content, but within the limits of his squads and depending on the situation. Bard of Mondstadt has the strongest zip line in the game, which is useful when going through the Abyss floors with a lot of enemies, but it is not always beneficial, since some characters cannot reach the suspended enemies.

He combines best with archers, catalysts, and heroes with large attack range and height. Separately, we can highlight his synergy with characters who have expensive ults, since through his passive he restores energy to squad members. In addition, Venti does not need a lot of time on the battlefield, and he can be given any weapon to restore energy or master the elements.

Wanderer (Scaramuccia)

Wanderer (Scaramuccia)

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: catalyst
  • Element: Anemo
  • Role: main damage
  • Hyde: Wanderer build
  • Optimal constellation: С0

The Wanderer is a character with a unique hover mechanic that allows him to attack enemies from above and avoid most melee attacks. At the same time, his regular attacks have a large area of effect, which is effective against groups of enemies. The Wanderer is convenient because he can show himself well both in a classic damage build with an emphasis on his own damage, and in a driver build through Dispersion, where he uses the pocket abilities of a sub-DD.

However, for big damage on the hyper-carry role, you will have to invest in good weapons, artifacts and allies, and Scaramucci has no team-supporting skills. To cover the need for an Anemo damager, the Wanderer will do, but it cannot be called the best and most necessary option for the account.

Xiao

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: a spear
  • Element: Anemo
  • Role: main damage
  • Hyde: Xiao build
  • Optimal constellation: С0

Xiao is the primary Anemo damage dealer, playing through the ultimate's plunging attacks. He can offer dynamic gameplay that requires tracking enemy locations to land plunging attacks. Additionally, this mechanic can easily become boring, and Xiao lacks variety in gameplay, as he cannot hit with normal or charged attacks.

Xiao can deal quite a lot of damage in a short amount of time, but is very dependent on his team and build. He constantly loses HP, which is why he needs a strong shielder or healer, and he is also dependent on Xian Yun and Faruzan, who will give him more than other supports. Xiao needs a careful item build, as his ultimate is quite expensive, so in addition to the standard attack power and crits, he will need a lot of energy regeneration.

Charlotte

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapon: catalyst
  • Element: Crio
  • Role: support
  • Hyde: Charlotte build
  • Optimal constellation: C6

The Fontaine reporter is a strong applicator and perfectly balances between her two roles: secondary damage dealer and healer. In a squad with characters from her region, she gets a bonus to healing, otherwise - a Cryo damage bonus. This buff combines with both heroine builds and does not lose relevance depending on the selected squad. The only drawback of Charlotte that is worth paying attention to: constellations are extremely important for revealing the character.

Beidou

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: two-handed sword
  • Element: electro
  • Role: secondary damage dealer
  • Hyde: bay dow build
  • Optimal constellation: С2

Beidou is a secondary damage dealer and is quite advantageous in that it combines not only good pocket Electro damage, but also team protection through the use of a skill that absorbs damage. Beidou can be placed with almost any character that needs a pocket damage dealer for reactions, which opens up many options for composing squads.

The heroine's main potential is in her ult, which is not very convenient, since you need to constantly wait for its rollback and collect energy recovery, which is detrimental to the overall damage. In addition, blows from the explosion of elements hit enemies only from normal or charged attacks, which is not suitable for characters with a different type of damage, such as Raiden or Mizuki. Also, for Beidou, due to her 4⭐ rarity, it is desirable to have at least a second constellation.

Sarah

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: onion
  • Element: electro
  • Role: support
  • Hyde: Sarah's build
  • Optimal constellation: С6

Sarah is a support character, giving strong buffs to her squad and dealing some damage when properly pumped. The heroine's greatest benefit is revealed only at the sixth constellation, and when composing teams, Electro damage dealers are a priority, to whom Sarah gives the most boosts. It is worth considering that Sarah's buffs last for a very short time, which is why she fits best in squads with damage dealers from a short stance or the "snapshot" mechanic.

As for other group options, Sarah has quite a few more comfortable alternatives for them, for example, Bennett, whose buffs last much longer. If desired, Sarah can be assembled both as a full-fledged support and as a damage dealer due to the high scales of the ultimate.

Collei

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: onion
  • Element: Dendro
  • Role: secondary damage dealer
  • Hyde: Collea build
  • Optimal constellation: С0

Colley is a support hero in Dendro Reaction squads. She is ideal in a group with Electro heroes for Stimulate, and also fits well in Hydro and Pyro squads. Her key effectiveness is in consistently distributing Dendro status from her ult and distributing Elemental Mastery when C4 is open.

Note that her elemental blasts are automatic, regardless of other allies' actions, unlike Nahida's marks, for example. Therefore, she can not only become a budget replacement for Dendro Archon, but even be better than her in Combustion-based teams. In Dendro+Pyro squads, it is Kollei who is most often taken as the second Dendro character, which increases her value in the tier list.

Laila

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: one-handed sword
  • Element: Cryo
  • Role: support
  • Hyde: Layla's build
  • Optimal constellation:  С0

Layla can provide the squad with a constant and quite strong shield, which scales with her health. However, protection from incoming damage is not the only thing in the arsenal of the eternally sleepy student. She can also provide Cryo damage in an area, which is beneficial in squads with Superconductor, Melt and Freeze, and even give a small buff if you have C4.

Among the disadvantages, it is worth highlighting the extremely low damage from abilities until the opening of the 6th constellation. In general, this is a good character for his role, who only needs to collect all his HP to be useful to the team.

Diluc

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: two-handed sword
  • Element: Pyro
  • Role: main damage
  • Hyde: Dilyuk build
  • Optimal constellation: С0

Diluc is the core Pyro damage dealer of the standard set, who is easy to play through a mix of normal attacks, an elemental skill, and an ult launch. Despite having a large number of suitable weapons, an obtainable signature set, and an easy build, he has not fully stood the test of time. Together with Xian Yun, he forms the strongest combo and becomes a very strong Pyro main-DD, but without her, his personal damage is on par with constant epic heroes, such as C2 Yanfei.

However, due to the presence of this prospect for development, resources can be invested in it, especially if there are no or very few damage dealers of this element. Diluc has no restrictions on teams, which allows him to play, albeit with varying effectiveness, both through elemental reactions and in mono-Pyro units, and among his allies there are many heroes of epic rarity.

Yao Yao

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: a spear
  • Element: Dendro
  • Role: support
  • Hyde: Yao Yao build
  • Optimal constellation: С1

Yao Yao is a Dendro support who can heal and deal damage outside the battlefield, thereby applying a status or closing a reaction. All this adds flexibility in terms of the role she occupies, but at the same time complicates her build: she heals from HP, and skill damage scales with attack power. Although if Yao Yao is not required to have her own numbers, but simply apply a status to maintain reactions, this will become a problem.

She copes very well with her function as a Dendro healer and applicator, especially on budget accounts, since she covers two needs of the squad at once: constant status and healing. Her first constellation suggests playing with Dendro main-dd, since she gives an elemental bonus to this element.

Dione

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: onion
  • Element: Cryo
  • Role: support
  • Hyde: Dione build
  • Optimal constellation: С6

Diona is a great support character who can fill the shield slot with extra healing. Her abilities prevent her from being a full-fledged Cryo applicator outside of her ult, but she can help as a battery for a main DD or in causing reactions with the Elemental Mastery buff at C6.

Without constellations, Diona is much inferior in versatility to the same Layla as a shielder. In addition, her shield lasts less than the cooldown, which is why it is critical for her to have a P5 Ceremonial Bow. However, all of Diona's shortcomings are compensated by her simple build, since the girl only needs HP and energy recovery.

B rank characters

These heroes have potential for development, but they are too demanding, situational, or have more powerful competitors who perform the same functions better. These heroes can be invested in, especially if you have good equipment or constellations, but it is worth considering that they will not be able to exceed their damage threshold.

Albedo

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: one-handed sword
  • Element: Geo
  • Role: secondary damage dealer
  • Hyde: Albedo build
  • Optimal constellation: С0

Albedo is a secondary damage dealer from E, who hits Geo with damage together with the active character and has elemental skill scales from defense. The character was controversial from the very beginning, since the inconvenience was added by the fact that the explosion of elements depends on the attack power, which made it difficult to build on C0. Over time, he found his application in Geo teams, but from there he was eventually ousted by Tiori, who has greater damage of her own.

The hero is still good in some squads, for example, under teams with Electro damage dealers in Stimulation, where he can wear the Archaic Stone set and buff the squad to mastery of the elements through a passive ability. However, it is better to knock him out only if you have strong personal sympathy.

Yoimiya

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: onion
  • Element: Pyro
  • Role: main damage
  • Hyde: Eimia build
  • Optimal constellation: С0

She is the main damage dealer in the squad and deals normal attacks while in a stance that colors her shots with Pyro Infusion. She has simple gameplay, good damage against bosses, and nice synergy with all the best supports and sub-DDs in the game.

The heroine's key drawback is her strict solo target, which was not such a big problem before due to the smaller number of Pyro main DDs. In the past, Eimiya could be considered as the second Pyro damage dealer on the account specifically for bosses in difficult content. Now there are other main DDs in the game who cope with this task significantly better, so the heroine was pushed out of the high positions of the tier list by them.

Sijwin

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: onion
  • Element: Hydro
  • Role: support
  • Hyde: Sijwin build
  • Optimal constellation: С0

Sidgwin is a support character who heals the entire squad and provides buffs to inactive heroes who attack from the pocket. In addition to healing, Melusine is able to independently enter the battlefield and deal some damage. Thanks to her first passive, Sidgwin simplifies the exploration of the underwater world of Fontaine, providing allies with periodic healing when their health is significantly reduced.

It is also worth noting that Melusine is quite bad at playing the role of Hydro Applicator due to her skills being too slow or short. For this reason, she will not be able to single-handedly take the place of a support for squads through reactions, where you will have to take an additional character for these tasks.

Pyro Traveler

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: one-handed sword
  • Element: Pyro
  • Role: secondary damage dealer
  • Hyde: Pyro GG build
  • Optimal constellation: С1

Having received the Pyro element in Natlan, the Traveler turns into a sub-DD with a buffer function. The main character creates a fire ring with the skill, which remains when switching to another character and hits enemies with periodic Pyro damage. In combination with the abilities from Natlan, this allows the Pyro GG to wear a support set from Natlan and be a good buffer.

When unlocking C6, the ability to build into a main damage dealer opens up. However, in this role, Pyro GG is not very profitable, since there are many other stronger main DDs of this element in the game. It is better to use the character as a Pyro sub-DD in teams for hanging elemental status and buffs.

Mizuki

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: catalyst
  • Element: Anemo
  • Role: Driver and healer
  • Hyde: Mizuki build
  • Optimal constellation:  С4

The heroine simultaneously occupies the role of a healer and a healer. Most of the time she spends on the field as an active character, being in the stance of the elemental skill. Her inability to use normal and charged attacks greatly limits the use of the heroine, since she cannot play with most sub-DDs, and those allies that are available to her are more advantageous in other squads.

On C0, there may be problems with healing, since the key constellation is the fourth, allowing simultaneous damage and healing. All this makes Mizuki not the most convenient driver, although her build of artifacts and weapons is quite simple.

Arataki Itto

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: two-handed sword
  • Element: Geo
  • Role: main damage
  • Hyde: Arataki Itto build
  • Optimal constellation:  С0

Itto is a Geo main DD who plays from the explosion of the elements in battle and deals charged attacks under infusion. This complicates his gameplay quite a bit, since without a timely collected ult, the hero becomes completely useless and greatly sags in damage, which forces, in addition to useful stats, to collect a lot of energy recovery for him or put a battery character.

Itto is also tied to Geo teams and Goro, as there are no other supports for defensive characters in the game. If all these conditions are met, Itto will be a great main damage dealer, capable of covering all relevant content, but without them, he is significantly inferior to other characters.

Mika

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: a spear
  • Element: Cryo
  • Role: support
  • Hyde: mika build
  • Optimal constellation: С6

Mika is currently the only buffer for physical teams. However, this type of damage is underdeveloped in the game and is only needed by a limited number of characters, which is why the hero is not so popular. However, he can provide good healing and increase attack speed, which will be a nice bonus for many characters. A significant drawback is that without constellations, Mika is inferior to the majority of supports in terms of usefulness.

Goro

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: onion
  • Element: Geo
  • Role: support
  • Hyde: Goro build
  • Optimal constellation: С6

Goro is a versatile support for Geo characters. He significantly strengthens his squads, becoming indispensable for characters whose abilities are scaled by defense that cannot be obtained from other sources. Apart from the free Noelle and expensive Shilonen, he is the only Geo healer, but this ability is only unlocked with the fourth constellation, which makes him very constellation-dependent. In addition, Goro is strictly limited to Geo squads and is absolutely useless for other teams.

Cyno

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: a spear
  • Element: electro
  • Role: main damage
  • Hyde: build Saino
  • Optimal constellation: С2

Saino is the main damage dealer who spends most of the fight in the elemental explosion stance. Although at high investments he is able to close the actual content, he has enough of his own problems: low damage scales, the need for legendary weapons and strong allies, high cost of the ult and an excessively long stance.

All this makes Saino not the best candidate if the goal is to get the strongest damage dealer of this element on the account. It is worth taking him if you have personal sympathy or if the account already has all the conditions for this character (or are ready to provide them in the future).

Keqing

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: one-handed sword
  • Element: electro
  • Role: main damage
  • Hyde: ke qing build
  • Optimal constellation: С4

Despite being a standard character, Keqing is quite playable in Dendro-element parties via Stimulate or Vegetate due to her Electro Infusion attacks. While her gameplay is fairly simple, Keqing's dynamic nature takes some getting used to, which can be challenging on mobile devices.

Keqing can be played without constellations, but she excels at C4. While she doesn't have a great stat line due to her standard rarity, she's more than usable until other Electro mains come along. Her build and team requirements are pretty basic, so once you get tired of playing Keqing, the investment in her allies and weapons won't be wasted and can be used for other characters.

Eola

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: two-handed sword
  • Element: Cryo
  • Role: main damage
  • Hyde: Eola build
  • Optimal constellation: С0

Eola is a physical damage dealer, which is a rarity in the game. In the current realities of the game, physical damage is the weakest of all, significantly inferior to almost all other combinations and styles. Eola is kept at the average level by significantly increased numbers on the ult, with which she can hit for 0k+ damage on C300, although now such damage is not something super strong.

The inconveniences are compounded by the high cost of the ult, the urgent need for a battery, a good amount of energy restoration, and strict adherence to the rotation. In addition, the ult is reset with one big blow, which forces you to carefully time the moment of resetting the elemental explosion according to the timings. For this reason, it is extremely inconvenient to play with Eola against renewing waves of enemies.

Sethos

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: onion
  • Element: electro
  • Role: main damage
  • Hyde: Sethos build
  • Optimal constellation: С6

The main Electro damage dealer, playing through the mechanics of charged shots both from the hand and through the stance from the ult. Sethos has a fairly simple build, since in most cases he only needs elemental mastery and crit. chance / crit. damage, which determine the main damage of the character. Due to the skill scales from MS, he greatly needs characters that buff this stat, for example, Sucrose, Nahida or Albedo.

However, Sethos can do without them if he has good artifacts. Despite being a main DD, he still has a 4⭐ rarity, so he requires constellations to fully reveal his potential and be comfortable to play.

Kirara

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: one-handed sword
  • Element: Dendro
  • Role: support
  • Hyde: Kirara build
  • Optimal constellation:  С6

Kirara is a shield support in Dendro teams. Although she also has offensive abilities in her arsenal, the damage from her pocket is quite unstable and requires taking into account the positioning of the enemy (or constantly being on the battlefield, which is not always advisable). A key feature of the character is the unique elemental skill mechanic, which allows you to climb the peaks much faster and easier.

In terms of the applicator's capabilities, the nekomat status rarely applies, which is why another Dendro character is almost always necessary. Despite certain shortcomings, she does her main job well, keeping the team alive without the need for additional protection or healing. Kirara significantly improves her abilities at C6, as she becomes a buffer.

Thoma

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: a spear
  • Element: Pyro
  • Role: support
  • Hyde: toma build
  • Optimal constellation:  С1

Toma is a great shielder for characters that play from normal or charged attacks. To get a strong shield, not inferior to other shielders, you need to update it and save stacks, without which the defense will break through in a couple of hits. You should not expect a lot of damage from Toma and it is better to collect it entirely in a support build, but he can bring benefit to the squad with the sixth constellation, which turns him into a good buffer.

Separately, it is worth highlighting the small Pyro status from his shield. This is not enough for most reactions, but it is precisely due to this that Toma shows himself excellently in Bloom, giving out enough Pyro to explode buds, but at the same time not disrupting the Budding process. Therefore, despite his "niche" nature, Toma can be used, and he is not bad in his squads.

Noelle

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: two-handed sword
  • Element: Geo
  • Role: support or main damage dealer
  • Hyde: build Noelle
  • Optimal constellation:  С6

Noelle is a strong standard character who can fill the support shield slot with healing and deal damage at early ranks. However, as the world level increases, the heroine copes worse with her duties even with good pumping due to the long cooldown of the shield and its not very high durability.

Noelle brings out the best in her sixth constellation, making her a strong primary damage dealer. However, even this only allows her to cover current content if she has great supports like Furina, Shilonen, or Goro, as well as good weapons like, Red-horned rockcutter.

Lynette

  • Rarity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
  • Weapons: one-handed sword
  • Element: Anemo
  • Role: support
  • Hyde: Lynette build
  • Optimal constellation: С4

Free character, available to all players from 25 adventure rank. Belongs to the Anemo element, thanks to which, if you have a set emerald shadow is able to reduce enemy resistance to elements. Her elemental skill allows her to move faster around the world and heal herself. Also has energy ushii, which will help when exploring Fontaine's territories. However, apart from a small attack buff and resistance reduction, Lynette provides virtually nothing to the party.

Traveler (Dendro)

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: one-handed sword
  • Element: Dendro
  • Role: secondary damage dealer
  • Hyde: Dendro Traveler build
  • Optimal constellation: С6

Traveler is a good addition as a sub-DD to many Dendro squads. It is worth considering that his ult changes its principle of action depending on the elements of team members, so you should carefully monitor the combinations of elements to get the most benefit. With all constellations, he reveals himself as a great support hero and buffer.

Sayu

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: two-handed sword
  • Element: Anemo
  • Role: support
  • Hyde: Sayu build
  • Optimal constellation: С1

Quite a funny character that allows you to speed up your travel around the world. Acts as a healer. Like other Anemo characters in the Viridescent Venerer set, she can effectively cut enemy resistances. The problem may arise in the balance of stats and the set of sufficient energy recovery, which she almost does not restore to herself. In addition, for a comfortable game, it is highly desirable to have the first constellation.

C-rank characters

These are mostly the best free heroes and some epics that have too complex or weak mechanics. Such characters are almost never used at high ranks, with a few exceptions, and it is not recommended to overinvest in them.

Keia

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: one-handed sword
  • Element: Cryo
  • Role: secondary damage dealer
  • Hyde: keii build
  • Optimal constellation: С2

As a free-to-play character, Kaeya is still one of the few Cryo characters that can act as a secondary damage dealer without being tied to a specific location on the field, unlike Rosaria, Layla, and Ganyu. His Elemental Burst, in addition to the extra damage, provides a convenient Cryo overlay for reactions, but requires a set of energy recovery to activate in a timely manner or at least a second constellation, which is difficult to get. In addition, his short ult radius forces him to get close to enemies, which is something archers try to avoid.

Barbara

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: catalyst
  • Element: Hydro
  • Role: support
  • Hyde: Barbara's build
  • Optimal constellation: С0

One of the starting characters who can take the Hydro Healer position until later ranks, as the only analogues are the legendary Kokomi and Sijwin. It is quite easy for Barbara to collect all the constellations so that she gets the ability to resurrect, and the best weapons for her are 4⭐ and even 3⭐ options.

Barbara has a key weakness that can affect the passage of the Abyss: now many enemies have elemental attacks, and her skill applies the Wet status to the active character. Because of this, her ally can be subjected to Freeze or other reactions. In addition, she has an expensive ult and at the same time poorly gains energy for it herself.

Candace

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: a spear
  • Element: Hydro
  • Role: support and secondary damage dealer
  • Hyde: build of Candace
  • Optimal constellation:  С2

Kandakia is a support that gives Hydro Infusion and increases damage of normal attacks. For the full support position, it does not require talent upgrades, since the skill level does not affect the buff, which reduces the amount of investment required. It is best revealed in teams that play from normal elemental attacks, where it can be useful even at a low level of pumping.

Without cons, Kandakia is inferior to most other buffers in the game: C2 is optimal for her, and the best constellation for revealing her maximum potential is C6. With it, she gets more Hydro status on her ult hits, which allows her to synergize better with other characters.

Freminet

  • Rarity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
  • Weapons: two-handed sword
  • Element: Cryo
  • Role: main damage
  • Hyde: Fremint build
  • Optimal constellation: С6

A physical damage dealer with a Cryo element. His elemental skill attacks combine two types of damage at once - Cryo and physical, making the mechanics unique among all damage dealers in the game. The skills suggest gameplay through a non-standard combination of Cryo + Hydro + Electro heroes, but this is not necessary, you can concentrate on one reaction and play, for example, only through the Superconductor. Freminet is not the best option for clearing complex content, but for old players or fans of unusual play styles, it will bring an interesting gaming experience.

Kachina

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: a spear
  • Element: Geo
  • Role: secondary damage dealer
  • Hyde: Kachina build
  • Optimal constellation: С0

The heroine acts as a secondary damage dealer with defense scales. She can be considered a more budget version of Albedo or Tiori: she does not have as much damage as they do, and has fewer support skills. The key advantage is the ability to wear a support set and additionally strengthen allies.

It can also be noted that there is an ideal spear for her, which can be obtained through crafting - Rainbow trail. Due to this, the Kachina is very easy to assemble and does not require many resources, so it can be considered a profitable investment.

Klee

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: catalyst
  • Element: Pyro
  • Role: main damage
  • Hyde: build Klee
  • Optimal constellation: С0

Deals most of the damage through charged attacks, which have a long animation. Due to this, it is quite difficult to play Klee fully: you need to be able to cancel the animations in time, without dropping the attacks themselves and wisely spend stamina, leaving a reserve to avoid enemy attacks in the absence of shields.

The heroine has a lot of Pyro status, which is why when playing with Hydro sub-dd you need to know how to press buttons correctly. C1 only worsens this situation and is highly not recommended in teams from the Steam reaction, since it almost negates Hydro on the enemy due to the additional Pyro. Mono-elemental Pyro teams, although more convenient, are no longer so relevant with the advent of other damage dealers of this element, for example, Lini or Mavuiki.

Yanfei

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: catalyst
  • Element: Pyro
  • Role: main damage
  • Hyde: Yanfei build
  • Optimal constellation: С2

Has a similar playstyle to Klee and similar problems with using charged attacks. Yanfei does not have as much Pyro status as Klee, but she has a specific mechanic of Crimson Seals. You need to know how to play the heroine: if you move from your place during the cast, no damage will be done, but your stamina and charges will be spent. In addition, the charged attack is also tied to the ground, and not to enemies. That is, if the enemy is flying or just on a hill, it will not hit him.

Shikanoin Heizou

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: catalyst
  • Element: Anemo
  • Role: main damage
  • Hyde: Heizo build
  • Optimal constellation: С1

The character is capable of delivering significant damage numbers when using an elemental skill. Has an inexpensive but damaging ultimate, as well as good potential in Dispersion due to his mastery of the catalyst. Great in any squad with Cryo, Pyro, Electro and Hydro due to the Anemo element, but plays best in teams from reactions of Steam or Charged as a driver.

Like many epic heroes, he is at his most powerful when he gains certain constellations. However, Heizo also excels at C1, as this opens up the possibility of gaining stacks for E-class more quickly, which significantly buffs the character.

Dory

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: two-handed sword
  • Element: electro
  • Role: support
  • Hyde: dory build
  • Optimal constellation: С4

Dory is one of the few heroes who restores energy during the action of the ultimate. Thanks to the Electro element, she will go into squads with Dendro for Stimulate reactions, as well as in teams playing from Superconductor and Charged. In addition, she has an extremely useful fourth constellation, which increases healing and energy restoration under the ultimate.

However, despite such a rare mechanic, which only Raiden has, in fact, Dori is not so important in the realities of the game. To solve energy problems, a second character of the same element is most often simply taken into the squad, and other healers are able to provide more benefit.

Dehya

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: two-handed sword
  • Element: Pyro
  • Role: primary and secondary damage dealer
  • Hyde: daehya build
  • Optimal constellation: С6

Dehya can be played as either a main or secondary damage dealer. As a main DD, she requires constellations, ideally all six, and decent investments, and as a sub DD, she is not suitable for all squads due to her weak Pyro cast.

In addition, Dehya does not work with Xingqiu or Ye Lan, which is already a problem for playing as the main damage dealer through Steam. There are very few characters in the game that can inflict Hydro status without being tied to using normal attacks, in fact, only Furina can do this. This is due to Dehya's low position: for main DD, she requires a lot of resources and does not give the corresponding result, and as a sub-DD, she is included only in a limited number of teams.

Chongyun

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: two-handed sword
  • Element: Cryo
  • Role: primary and secondary damage dealer
  • Hyde: chun yun build
  • Optimal constellation: С1

Chun Yun's key feature is the ability to create a field in which characters acquire Cryo infusion. This can be used by both Chun Yun himself and his allies, but there is no great need for it. As a main damage dealer, the character is very weak and is good only in the national, and then at the expense of other characters in the squad. As a sub-DD, although with the presence of constellations he can slightly cut Cryo resistances and hit hard with the ultimate, he is not in demand due to the inability to pump energy to allies.

Lisa

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: catalyst
  • Element: electro
  • Role: secondary damage dealer
  • Hyde: Lisa's build
  • Optimal constellation: С2

A good secondary damage dealer, who can act as a driver or even a main DD at early ranks, but gradually loses its relevance as the account develops. Lisa's greatest benefit comes from her elemental explosion, cutting off enemy defense and making her a sub-DD, mainly in squads through Electro reactions.

For greater convenience, Lisa requires the presence of a fourth constellation and a careful balance of artifacts due to the need for energy restoration and good stats, which can be obtained, for example, from legendary catalysts.

Traveler (Electro)

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: one-handed sword
  • Element: electro
  • Role: support
  • Hyde: Electro Traveler build
  • Optimal constellation:  С6

A good option for a main character, who will fit into any team with Electro reactions, but will not bring anything significant to them. He can be assembled into a battery for other characters through an elemental skill or forced to attack from the pocket with Electro damage, although his own damage is not very much.

The character can serve as an alternative to Lisa, but in most cases, by the time Inazuma is reached, any account already has a large variability in the composition of the squad and, for example, the presence of Fischl, Cookie or Dory. They will bring more benefit to the squad than the main character. If the account does not have any of the listed heroes, then the Traveler is a great replacement.

Qi qi

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: one-handed sword
  • Element: Cryo
  • Role: support
  • Hyde: qi qi build
  • Optimal constellation: С0

Qiqi is a strong healer, capable of keeping the entire party at high health in almost all situations, as well as resurrecting allies with C6. Despite potential as an elemental skill Cryo applicator, Qiqi performs poorly in this role due to the rare occurrence of elemental effects on enemies.

Aside from healing and a little Cryo, the little zombie doesn't contribute anything to the team. This can be fixed with a buffer weapon like Freedom-Sworn and the Sea Dye Mollusk artifact set, which will convert some of the excess healing into damage, but it's too expensive and wastes a lot of time that could be spent on developing other characters.

Ningguang

Ningguang

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: catalyst
  • Element: Geo
  • Role: main damage
  • Hyde: Ningguang build
  • Optimal constellation: С1

Ningguang's elemental skill creates a powerful screen that buffs the Geo damage of all characters who pass through it. This ability can be used by both Ningguang herself and her allies. During the battle, she accumulates stone charges that can be launched at the enemy with an elemental explosion, and constantly hits with her hand.

Such a low position is due to the not so simple gameplay and the complexity of pumping the heroine. To get beautiful damage numbers, you will have to spend a lot of time and resources. As Geo damage dealers, there are many alternatives that will show results many times better, in addition, Ningguang has quite weak synergy with most heroes.

Kaveh

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: two-handed sword
  • Element: Dendro
  • Role: main damage
  • Hyde: build Kaveh
  • Optimal constellation:  С4

Kaveh is the main Dendro damage dealer, whose mechanics are aimed at playing through Budding, but if desired, he can play in other Dendro squads, even if he does not show himself from the best side. The character is quite convenient to build, since he only needs elemental mastery.

Kaveh synergizes best with Nyloo, which is too expensive for an epic character, but if you don't have it, you can put any other Hydro and Dendro characters on him that can provide stable status. Kaveh also needs to be knocked out, at least, C4. All these factors together make the Sumeru architect too expensive a hero, which is worth developing, for the most part, only for Nyloo mains.

D rank characters

Heroes that rarely stay in players' squads. All of them have their alternatives, which are much better and stronger in mechanics and damage.

Raizor

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: two-handed sword
  • Element: electro
  • Role: main damage
  • Hyde: Razor build
  • Optimal constellation: С4

Razor can be considered as a primary damage dealer at early ranks, but as the world level increases, his usability and power significantly decreases. His primary damage is physical, but there are very few strong buffers for such damage dealers in the game, except for Mika, Rosaria and Xinyan, and many enemies have increased resistances, which is why Razor will not be able to show his full strength.

Razor's Electro element allows him to not have to bring other Electro allies to his team to summon Superconductor. However, Razor cannot play in groups through other reactions such as Overload, Charged, or Stimulate, as he does not have Infusion. He is also unable to fill a sub-DD role, as his Ultimate disappears after switching.

Xinyan

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: two-handed sword
  • Element: Pyro
  • Role: secondary damage dealer and support
  • Hyde: xin yang build
  • Optimal constellation: С4

Xinyan is a secondary damage dealer with support-buffer abilities for physical damage characters. She can generate a shield, but its durability is inferior to other better shielders. Xinyan is quite difficult to use as a Pyro Reactor, since her skill only attacks from the pocket when three or more enemies are hit, which is absolutely not suitable for fighting bosses. Also, although Xinyan buffs physical damage, she does not fit well in such squads due to her Pyro element, since she does not participate in Superconductor and sometimes interferes with it.

Ember

Ember

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: onion
  • Element: Pyro
  • Role: primary and secondary damage dealer
  • Hyde: Ember build
  • Optimal constellation:  С0
Depending on the open constellations and the player's goal, she can be a primary or secondary damage dealer, but she does not show impressive results in either position. The only popular role for Ember is her support build under Hu Tao, where she wears a support set. Instructor and onions Elegy of doom. She's pretty good for this team, although the squad has poor survivability, but outside of it, Ember is of no use to almost any character.

Traveler (Geo)

Geo Traveler in Genshin Impact

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: one-handed sword
  • Element: Geo
  • Role: secondary damage dealer
  • Hyde: Geo Traveler build
  • Optimal constellation: С6

Besides Noelle, the Traveler is the only Geo character at early ranks, which makes it useful both in combat for breaking some shields and for exploring the open world. Doesn't do much damage, but even at later ranks can be a teammate for heroes who need Geo constructs, such as Tiori. Otherwise, it is a walk-through form of the main character, which is recommended to be switched to other elements at the first opportunity.

Traveler (Anemo)

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: one-handed sword
  • Element: Anemo
  • Role: support
  • Hyde: Anemo traveler build
  • Optimal constellation: С6

Anemo Traveler is available to players at the start of the game and can help both in clearing the world and in passing different content, for example, the Abyss, where he can group enemies together for more successful attacks. He plays most comfortably with characters through elemental damage, but becomes completely useless when receiving Sucrose or similarly free Lynette, which brings more benefit than Traveler.

Traveler (Hydro)

  • Rarity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
  • Weapons: one-handed sword
  • Element: Hydro
  • Role: main damage
  • Hyde: Hydro Traveler build
  • Optimal constellation: С6

The Traveler's version, which becomes available after resonance with the Hydro Archon statue in Fontaine. All constellations of this hero can be obtained as the Hydro region content is closed. He is the main damage dealer and has gameplay somewhat similar to Nevillet's skills, but the GG's abilities last much less and inflict very small numbers.

Eloy

  • Rarity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Weapons: onion
  • Element: Cryo
  • Role: primary and secondary damage dealer
  • Hyde: Aloy build
  • Optimal constellation: С0

Due to the fact that Aloy was a "gift" character, she has extremely low damage scales and a complete lack of buffering abilities. Against the background of all Cryo heroes, regardless of whether she occupies the role of a secondary damage dealer or a main DD from infusion, Aloy now looks quite weak and cannot withstand competition with other characters. An additional weakness is the lack of constellations, since they usually significantly strengthen the hero.

Tier list system

The tier list is based on the latest game activities and mechanics. We update it and change it with each new character, combat challenge update, and combat system changes.

Character Evaluation Criteria

When evaluating the characters' positions, we take into account their abilities, the variability of possible teams, the presence of competitors and other features.

Versatility/Niche

The game's combat system offers a huge variety of combinations, and enemies often require squads to be adjusted to fight them.

  • Heroes that can play in different teams are given the highest priority, as this makes them relevant for almost every account. Often these are supports and sub-DDs, such as Xingqiu, Kazuha or Bennett.
  • At the same time, a no less powerful, but more "niche" hero may be located in the rank below. Such characters show themselves well in their role, but are useless for most players. As a rule, these are buffers of a certain element, for example, Sarah or Faruzan.

Competitive ability

Often characters lose their relevance not because of changes in the combat system, but after the appearance of an alternative hero with the same element and/or role in the squad. The tier list displays not only the character's position in the overall system, but also within its role.

A hero may perform impressively compared to other companions overall, but not be the best choice in their category.

A similar fate befell Eimiyu after the release of Harlequin and Mavuiki. If before this the girl was one of the best Pyro main-dd, then after the release of Harbinger and Pyro Archon she could not hold her position and now is not a priority Pyro character.

Relevance of gaming skills

As the game develops and regions change, developers adjust various mechanics and add new ones through the characters themselves. This can either make things worse for some heroes or, on the contrary, improve them.

For example, the appearance Chevreuse и Ororona in the game, teams from the Overload and Charged reactions were significantly strengthened, and groups from Freeze began to weaken after almost all enemies in the Abyss became bosses.

Investment requirements

Many heroes have problems with some aspect of development: weapon selection, balance of characteristics in artifacts, need for certain allies or dependence on constellations. Some heroes are capable of delivering S+ damage, but for this result they require so much investment that the average player cannot provide, so they are placed in a lower rank.

An example is Xiao, which copes well with content if there are artifacts with excellent characteristics, legendary weapons and partners in the form of Xian Yun, Faruzan C6 and Bennett / Zhongli / Jinn C4. However, if all these conditions are not met, it is difficult to close combat activities with him.

Demand in the Abyss

Sometimes in this game activity there will be enemies that require a certain combination of elements and weapons, making it difficult to complete the challenges without the right heroes. In such cases, some characters may temporarily increase their positions, and after the change of the Abyss phase, return to their previous level.

Rank values

Each position on the tier list has its own meaning.

S+ rank

The most powerful heroes, with virtually no drawbacks. Around one or two such characters, you can build a combat-ready squad, which closes most of the content. They are not so demanding in terms of equipment and teammates, so they are suitable for F2P players who do not have much choice among characters and weapons.

S rank

These are great heroes, most of whom are slightly inferior in damage or versatility to S+ characters, but they still easily fit into many squads and show good results with epic weapons. Some of the rating are 4⭐ heroes who have no analogues in their role and / or are significantly strengthened at C6.

A rank

Close to elite characters that you shouldn't give up on. A great option for a beginner. However, at later ranks, along with the increasing complexity of the content, difficulties may arise. For a good result, most heroes require serious investments in the form of legendary or epic C6 characters and weapons. Also, not the highest rank is sometimes due to low demand or weak development potential of the hero in the current realities of the game, for example, due to the elements or mechanics.

In rank

These are simple characters that will cover any content, but will spend much more user time and effort on it. You can invest resources in such heroes if you want, but you should take into account their low "ceiling" of damage or benefit, which cannot be surpassed.

With rank

These heroes will require maximum attention if you want to get excellent combat performance from them. It is better to limit their use until the best supports and damage dealers drop and not waste resources if there are alternative options.

D rank

These characters are only good for mainers. If you don't have a genuine love for one of these heroes, don't waste your time on serious leveling.

Change in ranking positions

In patch 5.4, the following heroes' positions were changed:

Lan Yan upgraded to S rank due to her strong shield and Anemo element, which allows her to occupy two slots in the team at once: support and debuffer.

Mizuki demoted to B-rank after release. Due to the specifics of her mechanics, which do not allow the use of normal attacks, she turned out to be not as strong a driver as expected.

This rating is constantly updated with the appearance of new characters. If you have any questions, ask them in comments. stay tuned builds on our website to always be up to date with the latest builds.
