Detailed guide to Kaveh Genshin impact: An overview of the character's talents, skills, and constellations, as well as their strengths and weaknesses. Recommendations for choosing artifacts, weapons and team composition to maximize potential. What does Kaveh need to level up.
Kaveh is a talented architect who is known for designing the Alcazar Saray palace, a character with Dendro elements and two-handed weapons. The guy graduated with honors from the darshan of the Kshahrevar Academy, but the construction of the palace and unsuccessful cooperation with a merchant led him to bankruptcy and loss of residence. For this reason, Kaveh had to settle with al-Haytama. Despite the neighborhood, the young people do not get along very well and often argue over completely different opinions.

Characteristics of Kaveh: what rises with elevation
The main stat of Kaveh is mastery of the elements. In addition to this characteristic, it also increases HP indicators, attack power и of protection. More accurate values are presented in the table.

Kaveh's abilities
Kaveh uses a two-handed sword and elemental Dendro to deal damage, while his normal attacks have a unique animation - the surrounding area is scanned by the device "Mehrak". All of Kaveh's active abilities focus on area of effect AoE attacks and Dendro's instantaneous explosion. This method of play is most effective against enemy waves and pairs well with Hydro, Pyro, and Electro elements to create Dendro reactions, especially Budding.
Next, we will analyze in detail the skills of Kaveh and in what order they need to be pumped.
Basic skills (active skills)
- Schematic setup (normal, charged, falling attack)
Normal Attack: Perform 4 consecutive sword slashes.
Charged Attack: A combo that costs stamina and ends with a powerful attack.
Falling Attack: Swiftly flies down, attacking all enemies in the way. Deals area damage upon landing.
- Creative Mastery (elemental skill)
Cooldown time: 6 seconds.
Performs a circular scan with Mehrak, dealing area damage to Dendro and instantly exploding all nearby Dendro cores.
- Painted dome (elemental explosion)
Duration: 12 seconds.
Cooldown time: 20 seconds.
Energy consumption: 80 units.
Unleashes the energy of Mehrak and creates a scanned space in the shape of a cube. Inside it, Dendro deals area damage to opponents, and all cores explode. In doing so, Kaveh gains the following buffs:
- Dendro infusion that cannot be cancelled.
- Expanded area of damage from all types of attacks.
- Increased interrupt resistance.
- Increases the damage from the explosion of Dendro cores created by the squad.
The order of leveling talents
Kaveh is the main damage dealer whose main source of damage is normal attacks, filled with infusion from the ult. Therefore, they should be pumped in the first place. The elemental skill has higher damage multipliers, however, unlike the ult, it does not provide a buff when the cores explode. Here it is worth starting from whether Kaveh plays through Budding or Growth:
- Talent Priority for Budding: normal attacks > elemental explosion > elemental skill.
- Talent Priority for Growth: normal attacks > elemental skill > elemental explosion.
Passive skills
Talent | What gives |
---|---|
The art of budgeting | When crafting landscape, building, and courtyard decors, it has a 100% chance to restore some of the resources. |
Builder's responsibility | When damaged by Dendro Cores, restore HP equal to 300% of Elemental Mastery. The effect occurs every 0,5 seconds. For example, 700 Elemental Mastery allows you to restore 2.100 HP every 0,5 seconds. |
Wizard Quirks | While Kaveh's elemental blast hits enemies with a normal, charged, or falling attack while active, his elemental mastery is increased by 25. The effect occurs every 0.1, stacks up to 4 times, and disappears when the ult ends. In total, the elemental mastery bonus from the pass can be 100 units. |
Constellations
The best constellations of Kaveh are - C4 and C6:
- The fourth constellation increases the damage from the explosion of Dendro cores and is optimal when playing through Budding. It only works if it is Kaveh that closes the reaction, which is why not every core will deal increased damage. However, this constant still provides a significant DPS boost.
- The sixth constellation increases both the character's own damage and from the explosion of buds. The damage multiplier is not as high, but it makes up for it by inflicting more Dendro status.
number | Name | Materials |
---|---|---|
1 | Sublime cheers | After activating Dendro's elemental skill, Kaveh resistance +50% and healing received +25%. The effect lasts for 3 seconds. |
2 | The elegance of royal ways | Normal attack speed during an elemental explosion +15%. DPS increase compared to C0: 2%. |
3 | Offerings to Dur-Untash | Increases skill level painted dome (explosion of elements) on 3. Max. level: 15. DPS increase compared to C0: 3.2%. |
4 | Feast of Apadana | The explosion damage of Dendro Cores created by Kaveh is increased by 60%. DPS increase compared to C0: 9.8%. |
5 | Treasures of Bon-Khanak | Increases the skill level of Artistic Mastery (elemental skill) by 3. Max. level: 15. DPS increase compared to C0: 10.7%. |
6 | Dreams of Pairidaeza | When hit by a normal, charged or attack in the fall, an enemy position appears Light of Pairidaesa. It deals area damage equal to 61,8% of Kaveh's attack power and detonates all nearby Dendro Cores. The effect occurs every 3 seconds. DPS increase compared to C0: 11.7%. |
In general, Kaveh is independent of its constellations, as none of them are mandatory or those that significantly affect the gameplay. Therefore, with proper assembly, it will show itself well on C0.
Advantages and disadvantages of Kaveh
Kaveh can fit into a large number of Dendro units as a main damage dealer. However, like any other character, it has its pros and cons.
Advantages | Disadvantages |
Easy to use and independent of constellations. This makes it a great option for beginners who want to play through Dendro but don't have the legendary heroes of this element in stock. | Abilities push the game from Budding, but at the same time, talents depend on attack power, which does not affect the damage of this reaction. This complicates the disclosure of the hero from all sides at the same time. |
A good damage dealer and driver in Budding units due to the instant explosion of cores when using abilities. In addition, his C4 and C6 additionally increase the damage from the buds. | Expensive elemental explosion - 80 units of energy. |
Can play without a healer in units from Dendro cores, as he restores health himself thanks to the Builder's Responsibility passive skill when taking damage from cores. | Low damage multipliers for elemental skill and ult. Hand attacks are his only source of damage. |
Works well both in a hybrid crit/attack build and fully through elemental mastery. | Since Kaveh needs to be active at all times, he can only play with heroes that can deal damage while not on the battlefield. This narrows down the range of possible teams to a certain extent and makes it impossible to play with revolver squads. |
In the ult, Dendro receives an infusion on all types of attacks, an expanded area of effect and increased resistance to interruption. | |
When assembled into crits and attacks, it can even be played in a team with Electro through the Growth reaction. | |
Elemental mastery increases as you ascend, making stat selection easier. | |
Facilitate the creation of items for Kettle, which will help players who have just started developing it, as well as building lovers. |
Leveling Kaveh
Let's consider what kind of pumping materials Kaveh needs, where they can be obtained, as well as their total amount for the maximum level.
Elevation
To raise Kaveh you need:
- Nagadus Emerald Stones - can be obtained as a trophy from feather mold и Dendro of hypostasis. Also mined from Nitrogen dust by crafting other stones.
- Flowers of sorrow - a curiosity of Sumeru from the swamp of Asipattravana.
- Spores, dust and pollen molds, defeated by any element except Pyro and Electro.
- Suppressed Vine - material from the world boss Dendro hypostasis.
- 420.000 Mora and 421 hero experience.
Talents
To upgrade Kaveh's talents, you need:
- Teachings, Instructions, Philosophy about "Wit" - Books of Talents from the Underground tower of ignorance. Drops on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.
- Spores, dust and pollen molds, defeated by any element except Pyro and Electro.
- Primordial Oasis Flower - Weekly Boss Material Apepa Oasis Guardian.
- Crown of Wisdom to get the maximum skill level.
- 1.650.000 Mora for each talent (up to lvl 10) and 4.950.000 in total.
Best builds for Kaveh in Genshin Impact
Kaveh is a damage dealer who also plays the role drivers, because he is in the battle most of the time, using the “pocket” skills of supports and dealing increased damage with their help. He relies not only on himself, but also on the team, however, he is its key, guiding link.
With the help of abilities, she can instantly explode cores when calling the Budding reaction and even increase their damage in the ultimate. However, his skills are affected by attack power, which does not affect the DPS of tier 2 reactions, including Budding. Because of this, sometimes you have to choose between damage from cores or attacks from your hand, and the most profitable is hybrid Kaveh assembly.
Recommended characteristic values
Kaveh can be collected through mastery of the elements и classic dd build. But, according to the calculations, crits / attack power is approximately equal to the build through the MC. For this reason, a mixed build is the most optimal in terms of overall efficiency. Although the emphasis can be placed on one or the other option, depending on the preferred team. Also, do not forget about energy recovery – the character has an expensive ult, and its timely activation affects Dendro's infusion and other buffs.
Characteristics that are recommended to look for in artifacts:
Artifact | Main characteristic | Additional stats |
---|---|---|
HP (permanent) | Elemental Mastery Attack Power % Energy Recovery % Crete. damage / Crit Chance. hits | |
Attack Power (Permanent) | Elemental Mastery Energy Recovery % Attack Power % Crete. damage / Crit Chance. hits | |
Elemental Mastery Attack Power % | Attack Power % / Elemental Mastery Energy Recovery % Crete. damage Crit chance. hits | |
Dendro Damage Bonus % | Attack Power % / Elemental Mastery Crete. damage Crit chance. hits Energy Recovery % | |
Crete. damage Crit chance. hits | Elemental Mastery Energy Recovery % Attack Power % Crete. damage / Crit Chance. hits |
Optimal stat values for a hybrid build:
- Elemental Mastery: 250-350 units.
- Energy recovery: from 120% if the team has a second Dendro hero. If Kaveh is the only character of this element in the squad, then from 160%.
- ATK: from 1500 units.
- Chance of crit and crit. damage: 1:2 ratio (60% RH and 120% BR).
Kaveh's builds in crit / attack power and mastery differ only in priority towards one or another characteristic. Therefore, the formula remains the same in any case, the only difference is which stat to focus on.
Best weapon
Kaveh's weapons should have the following characteristics, depending on the role that the hero plays in the squad:
- Driver from the explosion of nuclei you need to look for mastery of the elements and restoration of energy in the claymores. In this case, Kaveh helps with abilities to create and explode Dendro seeds together with supports, whose skills maintain elemental status on enemies to cause Budding (Vegetation, Bloom).
- Damage from auto attacks Swords require crit. damage and crit chance, attack power, elemental mastery and energy recovery. Since this role is focused on dealing his own damage, stats are needed that increase the damage of Kaveh himself when using normal blows with infusion. At the same time, crits and attack also affect the damage of Stimulation (Catalysis), which is why weapons with these characteristics are best considered when playing through the Growth reaction.
Weapons for Kaveha Driver
We recommend choosing the following weapons for Kaveh, who plays from the explosion of cores through Budding:
number | Name | Rarity | Base stats | Passive Effects |
---|---|---|---|---|
1 | ⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Basic Attack 44-565 Elemental Mastery 24-110 | Within 8 sec. after hitting an elemental skill on an enemy or activating an elemental reaction, the attack power will increase by 12%-24%, mastery of the elements - on 48-96 units. Claymore is completely tailored to the mechanics of Kaveh and suits him perfectly: it gives elemental mastery and attack power. At the same time, he activates the buff quite easily and stably. Suitable for all types of reactions. | |
2 | ⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Basic Attack 42-510 Elemental Mastery 36-165 | Attack power is increased by 24%-48% from Elemental Mastery. Nearby party members receive 30% of this bonus. The effect triggers every 10 seconds and lasts 12 seconds. It persists even if the weapon carrier is not on the battlefield. Suitable for any style of play thanks to the right buffs that are easy to activate. At the same time, it increases the mastery of the elements and the rest of the squad. | |
3 | ⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Basic Attack 42-510 Elemental Mastery 36-165 | Increases by 20%-36% damage to targets that are under the status of Hydro or Electro. More narrowly focused and works exclusively in squads through Budding and Vegetation. In these cases, the claymore performs well, but only on the condition that the Hydro and Electro status is constantly maintained. | |
4 | ⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Basic Attack 44-565 Energy recovery 6,7%-30,6% | The Burning, Stimulating, Escalating, Growth, Budding, Vegetation, and Blooming statuses create a Consciousness Seed near the character that lasts for 10 seconds. The Elemental Mastery of the character who picks it up is increased by 60-120 units. for 12 sec. A consciousness seed can spawn every 20 sec. This effect triggers even if the equipped character is not on the battlefield. The seed of consciousness is not cumulative. A free universal sword that will not only cover the need for energy restoration, but also increase elemental mastery when triggering reactions. | |
5 | ⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Basic Attack 41-454 Energy recovery 13,3-61,3%. | Critical attacks have a 60-100% chance to create elemental particles that restore 6 energy. The effect works every 12-6 seconds. It will help in recruiting energy not only for yourself, but for the entire squad. However, in the case of using this claymore, you must score at least 40% crit. chance. | |
6 | ⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Base Damage 42-510 Energy recovery 10%-45,9% | Increases elemental skill damage by 6%-12%. When an elemental skill hits an enemy, the character loses 3 energy but restores 3-5 units of energy every 2 sec. for the next 6 sec. The effect can occur once every 10 sec. The effect can work even when the character is not on the field. Slightly inferior to crafted weapons from Sumeru, but its bonuses will still be useful for Kaveh: it gives a lot of energy recovery and increases the damage of E-shka, which has higher damage multipliers than elemental explosion. | |
7 | ⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Base Damage 44-565 Energy recovery 6,7%-30,6% | Elemental skill hits can with 40%-80% the probability of recovering its own rollback. May occur once per 30-16 sec. Allows you to quickly accumulate energy for the ult and activate the E-shka twice. It does not directly increase damage and is rather an alternative to other claymores, but it is quite convenient and versatile. It is recommended to use only if there is a 5th awakening. | |
8 | ⭐⭐⭐ | Basic Attack 38-354 Elemental Mastery 41-187 | Increases by 12%-24% damage against affected enemies Pyro or electro items. An excellent two-hander with mastery of the elements at the start of the game. Works in both builds. |
Weapons for Kaveh damage dealer
Kavehu-dd from normal attacks for the game through Growth, swords from the list below are most suitable:
number | Name | Rarity | Base stats | Passive Effects |
---|---|---|---|---|
1 | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Basic Attack 46-608 ATK 10,8%-49,6% | Increases attack power by 20%-40%. When hitting a target with less than 30% HP, increases the attack power of all party members by 40%-80% within 12 sec. Can occur no more than once per 1 seconds. An excellent two-handed sword for any damage. Allows you to put more emphasis on crits and mastery of the elements in artifacts, since the attack power is already flooded in huge quantities. It is also a good option to play with a sub-dp as the claymore also buffs allies. | |
2 | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Basic Attack 48-674 Energy recovery 8%-36,8% | Increases damage dealt by 8%-16%. After activating an elemental blast, hits from normal or charged attacks launch an intangible blade that deals 80%-160% damage to all enemies in its path. Lasts 20 seconds. or 8 intangible blades. The best option from the standard banner for a hybrid or crit build. Gives energy regeneration, which is extremely useful considering Kaveh's expensive ult. In addition, the sword has a high base and increases all damage dealt. | |
3 | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Basic Attack 44-542 Critical Damage 19,2%-88,2% | Protection increases by 28%-56%, the damage of normal and charged attacks is increased by 40%-80% protection. Gives a huge amount of critical damage and increases damage from normal and charged attacks. It will show itself well in Sprawl and combo with a set Gladiator’s Finale. However, there may be problems with the lack of attack power, which will need to be compensated with sub-stats, resonances or support buffs. | |
4 | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Basic Attack 46-608 Crit chance. hits 7.2%-33.08% | After hitting an enemy with an elemental skill, attack power is increased by 20%-40% for 8 sec. When you take damage, your attack power will increase by 20%-40% for 8 sec. These effects work even if the character is not on the battlefield. Additionally, if the equipped character is not protected by a shield, their max. HP will increase by 32%-64%. Another universal claymore for dd. Has a high base attack, increases crit. chance and attack power, which makes it easier to select stats. He can update his E-shku every 6 seconds, which allows you to consistently activate the buff, and taking damage and lacking a shield can be compensated by a healer in the team or get by with healing from a passive talent. Like the previous sword, it is used for units with Electro to Grow. | |
5 | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Basic Attack 46-608 ATK 10,8%-49,6% | Increases shield strength by 20%-40%. On hit, increases attack power by 4%-8% within 8 sec. The effect can stack up to 5 times and occur every 0.3 seconds. In addition, while protected by a shield, the attack power bonus of this effect is increased by 100%. Also a good sword for a hybrid or crit build, but requires a shielder in the squad. In addition, due to the fact that it only gives attack power, it is difficult to select characteristics. | |
6 | ⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Basic Attack 42-510 Crit chance. hits 6%-27,6% | Every 4 sec. increases the character's damage dealt by 6%-10% and the damage it takes 3%-1,8%while it is active. Can stack up to 5 times, does not reset when changing characters, decreases by 1 stack level when taking damage. Good bonuses and simplifies the selection of characteristics. However, the hero becomes more vulnerable, and therefore a shielder or, in extreme cases, a healer is required. Since the weapon is only suitable for Growth, Kaveh will not be able to heal on his own. | |
7 | ⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Basic Attack 44-565 Elemental Mastery 24-110 | Within 8 sec. after hitting an elemental skill on an enemy or activating an elemental reaction, the attack power will increase by 12%-24%, mastery of the elements - on 48-96 units. Claymore will provide the necessary attack power and elemental mastery, however, it may be difficult to balance crits. Good artifacts are needed, which should also have a large amount of energy recovery. | |
9 | ⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Basic Attack 42-510 Elemental Mastery 36-165 | Increases by 20%-36% damage to targets that are under the status of Hydro or Electro. Great option for playing through Sprawl. Main - play with Electro allies, preferably two, in order to constantly maintain status on enemies. | |
8 | ⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Basic Attack 42-510 Elemental Mastery 36-165 | Attack power is increased by 24%-48% from Elemental Mastery. Nearby party members receive 30% of this bonus. The effect triggers every 10 seconds and lasts 12 seconds. It persists even if the weapon carrier is not on the battlefield. A good weapon to play with strong supports who need a buff. The sword will help create a balance between attack and skill. | |
10 | ⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Basic Attack 44-565 ATK 6%-27.6% | When hit by a normal or charged attack, has 50% chance to inflict additional 240% ~ 480% damage in a small radius. Can occur every 15 sec. One of the best free options, but you need to take care of a decent rate of energy recovery and mastery of the elements. Can be obtained through crafting. | |
11 | ⭐⭐⭐ | Basic Attack 38-354 Elemental Mastery 41-187 | Increases by 12%-24% damage against affected enemies Pyro or electro items. An excellent two-hander with mastery of the elements at the start of the game. Works in both builds. | |
12 | ⭐⭐⭐ | Basic Attack 39-401 ATK 7.7%-35.2% | When hit by an Elemental Skill, Normal and Charged Attacks occur every 3 sec. inflict additional 60% ~ 120% area damage over 15 sec. It can be taken if there are no alternatives, but it is necessary to monitor the observance of the effect of the passive ability. To do this, it is advisable to press the ult before the cooldown of the elemental skill ends in order to activate it and get a buff. |
Best Artifacts
Artifacts on Kaveh should be selected based on his team and the elemental reaction through which he plays. An important role is played by how often he is able to activate it to receive a bonus from sets.
number | Name | Set | Rarity | Passive Effects |
---|---|---|---|---|
1 | Deepwood Memories | ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | 2 parts: Increase Dendro damage by 15%. 4 parts: Hitting with an elemental skill or elemental explosion reduces Dendro's enemy resistance by 30% for 8 seconds. The effect works even if the character is not on the battlefield. In terms of damage, the best option and the most versatile. Effective with any build due to the elemental bonus and cutting resistance of enemies. However, if someone in the team already uses this set, it is better to give preference to other sets. | |
2 | Paradise lost flower | ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | 2 parts: Give 80 units. mastery of the elements. 4 parts: Increases the damage of Budding, Vegetation, and Bloom of the character equipped with this set by 40%. If the carrier causes these reactions on its own, the effect will increase by another 25%. Each summation lasts 10 seconds. The effect stacks up to 4 times, occurs once every 1 seconds, and activates even if the character is not active. Kaveh performs well in Budding, so this set will suit him and additionally increase the damage from the explosion of the cores. In combination with the 6th constellation, an extremely powerful combination comes out. However, it is worth remembering that it is Kaveh that should cause a reaction. | |
3 | Gilded Dreams | ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | 2 parts: Give 80 units. mastery of the elements. 4 parts: For 8 sec. after calling an elemental reaction according to the elements of other characters in the squad, the equipped character receives the following buffs:
Slightly inferior to the previous two, but if you manage to collect a full set of this set with good stats during the farming of Memories of the Deep Forest, it will be a great alternative for both Budding and Growth. | |
4 | Gladiator’s Finale | ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | 2 parts: Increase attack power by 18%. 4 parts: Increases damage from normal attacks by 35% if the character uses one-handed, two-handed or polearms. Only good for the Growth reaction due to the attack power bonus. Increases Kaveh's own damage by boosting normal attacks. | |
5 | Deepwood Memories / Paradise lost flower / Gilded Dreams / Gladiator’s Finale | ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | Any combination of all of the above artifacts looks great on Kaveh, especially if they drop good stats. |
Squad Composition
With a special mechanic for increasing damage from cores and their instant explosion, Kaveh goes well with Hydro. However, he is also able to play with other elements that react with Dendro: Pyro и Electro. Since he is the main damage dealer, he also needs supports and sup-dd with out-of-battle damage.
Consider the characters that can be put in teams for Kaveh.
Character | Element | Weapon | Effects |
---|---|---|---|
Provides Dendro resonance. The ult creates a vast area in which the damage from reactions is increased and the buff to elemental mastery is given. Great support hero and secondary damage dealer. | |||
Free alternative to Nahida - resonance, extra damage, elemental mastery buff. On the 6th constellation, gives a bonus to Dendro damage. | |||
Heals and provides a shield, and thanks to the passive effect "All Born Under the Ground" will increase the damage from reactions with Dendro. | |||
An elemental explosion deals AoE damage to Dendro in a small area. On the 4th constellation increases MS. | |||
Healer to squad through Sprawl. Gives a bonus to Dendro at C1. Can deal its own elemental explosion damage. | |||
Elemental skill totems deal damage over time, even if Miko is not on the battlefield. Has high burst damage from her ult. | |||
The elemental skill allows you to conduct electrical attacks in conjunction with the active character, helping to create reactions. Fills energy with an elemental explosion and pairs well with heroes who have an expensive ultimate. | |||
Excellent sup-dd to the team through Growth and Vegetation. | |||
Creates electrical circuits that damage enemies when using normal attacks. | |||
Aim and Electro applicator. Kaveh's Budding doesn't require healing, but Stimulate reactions don't work with this passive, so healing may be required. | |||
In the ultimate, heals, restores energy to the active character and imposes Electro status on enemies. | |||
When an elemental explosion is activated, it creates reinforced cores of Opulence if only Hydro and Dendro are in the squad. | |||
An elemental explosion deals Hydro damage in an area and increases the damage of normal attacks. | |||
Increases the damage of normal elemental attacks. On the 6th constellation, provides Hydro status when using normal strikes. | |||
Permanent Hydro status and increased damage of the active character from the passive talent "Easy adaptability". | |||
Universal Hydro-applicator. E-shkoy helps increase resistance to interrupt attacks. | |||
Activates the shield, and the normal attacks of the active character under the influence of the ult inflict Pyro damage in an area. The shield also grants a 15% buff to normal, charged, and falling attack damage at its 6th constellation. | |||
Increases attack, which is important for increasing damage from the hand. For a build through mastery of the elements, it will not be very useful, but Kaveh, playing as a damage dealer, will greatly simplify the selection of stats, as it will allow you to gain more MS and energy recovery. | |||
Creates a whirlwind of fire that follows active characters and deals Pyro damage over 10 seconds. | |||
It will pull not only enemies, but also Dendro cores. It makes sense to add to the team, provided that you play with strong sub-dps Electro, Hydro or Pyro of the elements, so that he buffs them. | |||
Gather Dendro Cores and increase Elemental Mastery with the Catalyst Replacement and Savvy Breeze passive skills. | |||
A versatile and strong shield that lowers the elemental resistance of enemies. | |||
Increases the damage of regular attacks. Despite the lack of synergy between Geo and Dendro, specifically for buffing Kaveh in a crit build, Yun Jin is a worthy option. | |||
Allows you to play from attacks while falling, which is beneficial in Kaveh's main-dd build, where a lot of attention is paid to hand strikes. |
Group examples
Based on the characters listed above, you can make the following units for Kaveh:
Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
---|---|---|---|---|
Classic detachment through the Budding with the Nile. Together with Kaveh, they create reinforced Dendro cores. The third is another Dendro character for resonance and additional damage. The last slot is closed by the Hydro character - this can be both a healer and sup-dd, since Kaveh can heal himself from the explosion of buds. | ||||
Squad through Growth/Scale Up. Since Kaveh's self-healing doesn't work in this case, healing is necessary. At the same time, Dory or Shinobu close the Electro Resonance and act as an additional source of Electro Status. | ||||
You can also take Dendro characters for the role of healers or shieldmen. In this case, any available Electro sup-dds, including free heroes, get into the remaining slots. They are needed for additional elemental status and resonance closure. | ||||
Fully protected squad due to the presence of a heal and a shield. At the same time, Zhongli also lowers the resistance of enemies. In this case, it is advisable to put a set of Memories of a dense forest on Kaveh. | ||||
Alternative with Buds. Bai Zhu acts as a shielder, healer and reaction buffer. Xingqiu / Ye Lan can be replaced with Sap-DD Ayato (from the ult) or Kandakia. Ayato gives more Hydro status, and in the area, however, Kandakia on C6 is also able to distribute Hydro. In addition, they both increase the damage of normal attacks. | ||||
Detachment through Bloom. Xiangling and Toma are able to deal Pyro damage in their ultimate without being on the battlefield. Together with the Hydro skills of the characters, Kaveh will be able to create nuclei when infused. In this case Paradise lost flower worn by Pyro characters, as they are the ones who explode the buds. Any heroes that can maintain status while inactive are suitable for the role of Hydro supports. | ||||
Budding works well with Anemo characters that give a coupler. This allows you to concentrate all the cores in one area. Xingqiu or Ye Lan inflicts Hydro status to create buds and apply their own damage. In such a squad, it is desirable to have at least one Favonius weapons, since the second Dendro character is missing and it is more difficult for Kaveh to gain energy. | ||||
A similar principle works for Bloom: nuclei are created when Dendro and Hydro interact. The Pyro heroes activate their elemental blasts, then the Anemo supports pull the cores together. | ||||
Revolver squad with a large set of interactions. Despite the fact that it is difficult to cause a certain reaction here, this is not necessary - in this case, it is necessary to activate the ults on Xiangling, Xingqiu / Ye Lan on a rollback and give E-shka to Raiden, and then switch to Kaveh. Since everyone can close reactions here, it is desirable for everyone to collect mastery of the elements in one quantity or another. | ||||
F2P squad through Sprawl. Electro Traveler and Lisa provide elemental status to trigger reactions. Collei closes the resonance and deals additional damage. | ||||
F2P squad through Bloom/Vegetation. Kollei or Dendro Traveler will close the resonance and flood the energy of Kavehu. Lisa or Xiangling, depending on the choice, will trigger the Vegetation or Bloom reaction. It is also extremely important in this team to stay as close to the enemies as possible in order for Barbara's E-sheka to maintain Hydro status. |
How to play Kaveh
Since Kaveh is the mainstay of the group, he is the one who is on the battlefield most of the time, using the abilities of supports to cause reactions. Despite the fact that the elemental skill by itself does more damage than the ult, it is recommended that it interact with other elements during the elemental explosion. Ulta not only provides Dendro infusion and enhances the explosion of nuclei, but also increases mastery of the elements Kaveha, which means that the damage from reactions also increases.
Rotation
For any variation of the squad with Kaveh, the sequence of application of abilities remains unchanged, since its gameplay does not change from assembly. The general principle of building a rotation is as follows:
- We use the abilities of supports to impose the appropriate elemental status on opponents. It is desirable that these be skills that will remain in the arena for a certain time.
- Switch to Kaveh and activate the elemental skill. If there is already enough energy to use the ult, you can skip the step.
- Use an elemental explosion to create a scannable space and get Dendro's infusion.
- Attack nearby enemies for 5-6 seconds using normal attacks. The 4th hit in the rotation is recommended to be canceled, as it has a too long animation.
- If the supports' abilities are still active, use the elemental skill again and continue to attack with normal attacks until Kaveh's ult ends.
- Switch to other characters, update their skills and repeat from step 2.
Exceptions to the rotation can occur if there is not enough energy to activate the ult. In this case, you need to switch back to supports, ideally allied Dendro or Favonius weapon carriers. Activate elemental skills with them, catch energy balls with Kaveh, and continue from step 3.
Сonclusion
Kaveh is a Dendro damage dealer that deals good damage when interacting with elements that react with his element. Despite the average skill multipliers, thanks to squad support, proper build and rotation, it can be a good alternative to other 5* Dendro damage dealers. Given that he is an epic character, it is also much easier to knock out constellations on him for additional bonuses and increased damage.
