Creation of a squad Honkai: StarRail is of paramount importance, since the gameplay is based on interactions between characters and turn-based battles that require an individual approach. Each hero has his own Path (class), element and a unique set of abilities that can be decisive in a particular battle.
To win, it is necessary not only to think over a strategy, but also to pre-assemble a team, taking into account many factors: synergy, the level and strength of enemies, their number, vulnerabilities, and so on. In this guide, we will tell you in detail which characters to put in a squad in order to select the best builds in Honkai: StarRail.
How to build a squad in Honkai: Star Rail
There are 4 main factors to consider when putting together a team:
Elements
The elemental system is quite important, and although it can be ignored early in the game, once more difficult content is unlocked (Simulated Universe, Oblivion Hall и Pure fiction) the team will need to be created in accordance with the types of vulnerabilities of the enemies.
In addition, all opponents initially have a weakness to several elements at once, so it is not necessary to put characters of only one element. Groups of 2, 3, and even 4 types can be quite effective if you determine the vulnerabilities in advance, which are displayed next to the level and names of monsters, and select the right heroes.
Synergy
Character interaction is an equally important aspect when building a team in HSR. It is important to understand how heroes can complement, strengthen and compensate for each other's weaknesses. For example, for Doctors Ratio need debuffs on enemies, so it goes perfectly with Silver Wolf, which has various negative effects in its arsenal.
But the opposite situation also happens: some characters work poorly in a group or act much better individually. For example, Blade It is advisable to take damage to trigger the talent, which is why it interacts poorly with shield warriors or heroes with high Taunt.
Skill Points
Using the skill requires skill points, which are restored with a normal attack. Since the group shares a counter, they must be managed efficiently to realize the full potential of the build.
The goal is to have a "neutral" skill point consumption, where skill points are generated and spent at the same rate. This allows the main DPS to deal more damage by constantly using a skill, while the support DPS prioritizes basic attack. DPS generally consume more skill points than they generate, and vice versa, the support DPS generates more than they spend.
Path
All heroes have predefined roles that they perform in battle. Paths directly determine abilities, in what order and how often a character moves, what kind of damage he deals, and much more. The class system allows you to create the optimal build for any mode or content. For example, in Pure Fiction Path of Erudition characters are in high demand, as they deal massive area damage and clear waves of enemies without any problems.
However, it also happens that heroes have hybrid mechanics or deviate slightly from their basic specialization. For example, Acheron more of a damage dealer than a debuffer, although it belongs to Non-existence, and Hoho, in addition to healing, increases attack power and restores energy.
In a separate article, we talked in more detail about Paths: what they influence and what characters are included there.
Next, we will look at how to balance these factors to create the most effective team in Honkai: Star Rail.
The principle of formation of units
There are several principles that can guide you when putting together a squad.
Main DD + heroes of the Path of Harmony
One of the most common types of squads is a build with one hypercarry (main DD) and two Path of Harmony support characters. The main damage in this case is dealt by the named damage dealer, while the rest of the allies are aimed at strengthening and protecting him as much as possible. At the same time, it is important not to forget about one of the factors in creating a team - synergy. For example, it is not recommended to use in one group Armor и Sparkle due to a suboptimal combination of their abilities.
Advantages | Disadvantages |
The squad is easy to implement. Main DD takes most of the attention, while supports simply apply buffs on cooldown. | Lack of "flexibility". For example, if a damage dealer has the fire element, such a team will perform poorly against enemies with other vulnerabilities, etc. |
It is enough to invest in one damage dealer. This is due to the fact that often support heroes are not so demanding in terms of leveling and assembly. | Dependence on support. Without supports, the damage dealer begins to suffer, which is why the death of at least one of them has a negative impact on the entire group. |
Low consumption of skill points. Basically, only the main DD spends skill points - while the buffs are in effect, the allies always use the basic attack. |
Main DD + heroes of the Path of Oblivion
A special feature of the team is the presence of two representatives of the Path of Nothingness and one damage dealer. There are no Harmony buffers in the build, as the emphasis is on constantly weakening opponents by imposing negative effects on them. Such units are not found very often, but there are characters who need heroes of the Path of Oblivion for certain mechanics to work, for example, To Doctor Ratio и Acheron.
Advantages | Disadvantages |
More flexible assembly. Characters of the Path of Oblivion not only debuff, but also deal damage at the same time, which makes such a squad more versatile against enemies with different vulnerabilities. | High consumption of skill points. Almost all heroes on the team want to use a skill to deal damage or inflict negative status. |
Reveals the potential of certain heroes. As mentioned earlier, a group like this pairs well with character mechanics that need constant debuffs. | Requires large investments. Representatives of the Path of Nothingness are more demanding on the build than the Path of Harmony, which makes leveling up the squad more difficult. |
Rotation needs to be considered. Due to the increased spending of skill points, greater player involvement is required for the group to operate effectively. |
Balanced teams
Another common principle for building a squad is to combine characters from different Paths. This allows you to balance the group without losing the ability to weaken enemies and at the same time strengthen the main damage dealer. The most common combinations:
- Primary damage control + secondary damage control + Nothingness/Harmony + Conservation/Abundance.
- Main DD + Oblivion + Harmony + Conservation/Abundance.
In terms of pros and cons, the assembly is in the middle between the previous groups. For example, in terms of rotation and leveling up, a squad is easier to implement than with two heroes of Nothingness, but more difficult than with two representatives of Harmony.
Advantages | Disadvantages |
The assembly is convenient in that it suits most characters and offers more combinations and possibilities than other teams. | While the main DD still gets buffs and enemy debuffs increase damage somehow, personal DPS may be lower than in a hypercarry lineup. |
Universal for closing content. Regardless of the mode, the squad will be effective due to the presence of a variety of mechanics for any situation. |
Mono units (focus on one type of damage)
A specific, but in certain situations, strong build option is a mono-elemental team consisting of one element. In most cases, mono-quantum assembly is in demand due to Silver Wolf, which can create a vulnerability to the element of one of the allies. Since the Wolf herself owns the quantum type, she is a universal combat unit in a mono-squad of her element. There are other teams, but they rely only on the presence of corresponding weaknesses in their opponents.
Advantages | Disadvantages |
Very high damage to enemies if they are vulnerable to the desired element. As a rule, opponents die instantly due to the constant decrease in the stamina scale. | Doesn't work well against targets with other weaknesses. If the unit is mono-fire, and the enemies have other vulnerabilities, the characters will still be able to deal damage, but it will be noticeably lower. |
Simple gameplay, suitable for auto combat. If the conditions for the correct operation of the team are met, there is no need to select a target for attack, since all enemies are already vulnerable to the group element. | It is desirable to have characters that increase the damage of the element. For example, Asta followed by “Ignition” increases the fire damage of all allies, and Yukong followed by “Bow of Legacy” - imaginary damage. |
It's rare that all monsters have a weakness to a given element. Teams like this, with the exception of mono-quantum with Silver Wolf, are difficult to find use for, especially against a group of enemies. |
Units through the penetration effect
Teams, through the penetration effect, focus on causing damage that occurs after the enemy’s durability (vulnerability) bar has been completely reduced. Potentially, absolutely any squad is capable of playing through penetration with the appropriate build, however, there are characters who directly specialize in this type of damage. They reduce enemies' stamina much faster and can even ignore their weaknesses, e.g. Xueyi.
Advantages | Disadvantages |
Rapidly decreases the enemy's durability scale. Due to the high penetration efficiency, the group is able to completely remove the armor of even an elite monster within one cycle. | For comfortable gameplay you need ruan mei. The heroine offers a variety of boosts related to the penetration effect. Without it, the unit will not only decrease its durability more slowly, but also deal less damage from penetration. |
Increased impact from the penetration effect. For example, imaginary penetration will allow you to delay the action of the enemy target longer, and wind penetration will cause more periodic damage with Weathering. | Characters who initially have weak penetration efficiency and do not have their own bonuses for this stat in their arsenal show themselves weaker in a team that focuses on this type of damage. |
In a separate article, you can read a detailed guide on how the breakout effect works.
The best teams to complete the story
The gameplay is divided into several story stages, within which the relevance of a certain type of assemblies increases or decreases.
Detachment for the Hertha space station
At the beginning of the game, builds are not so important, so any heroes can be used. However, the composition presented below is quite enough to go through all the content, up to Yarilo-6.
Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
---|---|---|---|---|
|
Squad for Yarilo-6
The plot of the snow planet conditionally consists of 3 halves (parts).
First half line-up
The Hertha space station squad will also do a great job of passing through the first part. The composition can be used up to 14th level of development.
Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
---|---|---|---|---|
|
The composition of the second half
As part of the second part of the story, the composition of the team is already more significant. Adding a healer will be a great solution, which will make it much easier to progress through quests and defeat bosses.
Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
---|---|---|---|---|
Serval is aimed at destroying a group of enemies and breaking through electrical vulnerability. Natasha allows you to heal both an individual hero and the entire squad, which in some situations will be a priority over a shield. |
Alternative commands:
Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
---|---|---|---|---|
Serval can be replaced with Himeko, and Asta with Tingyun, which will increase attack power and energy recovery (or Armor). Lynx is presented as an alternative - any support will do here. | ||||
Instead of a buffer, there is an option to place a hero of the Path of Nothingness to weaken enemies, for example, Pelu, who will lower the defense and at the same time deal damage. Cheetah is capable of shielding the entire squad and tanking. | ||||
Herta attacks in an area and is especially useful for finishing off enemies by activating a bonus attack. Baylu is an excellent healer who can resurrect 1 time per battle. |
Third half line-up (late stage)
In the late game, having a Shielder and a Healer on the same team in certain situations becomes a priority by increasing the difficulty of opponents.
Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
---|---|---|---|---|
March 7 and Natasha are focused on continuous support for the squad. At the same time, during the battle, it is important to monitor the health of the characters and, if necessary, save action points in order to activate the shield or heal in a timely manner. |
Alternative commands:
Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
---|---|---|---|---|
Hook/Guinaifen are capable of inflicting the Burning status, causing periodic damage to enemies. If you don't have Himeko, you can use them to break through the vulnerability to fire. | ||||
Strong composition against bosses or small monsters. If Fu Xuan is pumped up enough, you can replace Lynx with Silver Wolf, Pelu or another debuffer/buffer. | ||||
A team with damage dealers with ice damage. Depending on the weakness of the enemies, you can change supports so that they penetrate the shields. If the main DD is Jingliu or Misha and there are no problems with survivability, it is recommended to put Pelu instead of Cheetah. |
Squad for Luofu Xianzhou
Locations Cloud Ferry and Astrologer Navalia are introductory zones, which makes most teams viable. However, some opponents in key story battles have vulnerabilities to wind, physical и imaginary damage. Therefore, it is worth paying attention to characters that have the listed types of elements.
Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
---|---|---|---|---|
Clara/Sushan – main DD (physical). Armor – buffer (wind). Bailu is a healer. Pelu is recommended to be used due to her ability to remove the resurrection buff that soldiers affected by Mara have with her skill. |
Alternative commands:
Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
---|---|---|---|---|
Budget option for the main team. | ||||
Argenti is a strong physical type damage dealer that deals area damage. Tingyun and Hanya - apply buffs to allies. Locha heals and with her superpower removes buffs from all enemies, so the squad can cope without Pela. | ||||
Moon Eater deals a large amount of phantom damage. Twilight/Hanya restore skill points and increase DPS. Hoho heals, further increases attack power and restores energy with a super ability. | ||||
A team with Blade, who acts as the main damage dealer with wind damage. Armor and Ruan Mei provide the squad with buffs (can be replaced with existing heroes of the Path of Oblivion). Locha keeps allies' health high and removes buffs from enemies. |
Detachment for Penaconia
Most of the opponents in Penaconia is vulnerable to electrical, physical, wind и fiery damage. Sometimes you encounter enemies with imaginary weakness, for example, is final boss. Since opponents also become stronger and denser, it is recommended to use well-pumped healers and shield warriors or combine them with each other.
Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
---|---|---|---|---|
Clara and Serval focus on dealing damage. When playing as Clara, you need to update Svarog's marks so that she constantly counterattacks. Serval primarily uses the skill, especially if several enemies are weak to electro. Asta not only buffs, but also penetrates the fire vulnerability. If there are problems with survivability, Asta is replaced by Fire Pathfinder. |
Alternative commands:
Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
---|---|---|---|---|
A squad with Kafka from periodic damage is excellent for passing Penaconia due to its high damage and the presence of all the necessary types of elements. It is recommended to use Locha as a healer, who saves a lot of skill points, breaks through imaginary vulnerabilities and removes debuffs from enemies. If this character is not available, you can install another healer. | ||||
Acheron is an electric damage dealer with huge damage to both one target and multiple opponents. Before the opening of E2, she primarily plays with two Path of Nothingness characters, who are selected based on the vulnerabilities of the enemies. There is also the option to use Silver Wolf, which creates a weakness to the element of one of the allies with the skill. | ||||
Jing Yuan is also capable of doing a good job of conquering a planet. To support it, you can add Armor to enhance and break through the wind vulnerability of the basic attack, or Welt to slow down enemies and cause imaginary damage. Hania inflicts a small physical. damage, increases attack power and restores skill points. Fu Xuan/Lynx protect the party. |
Squads for Amphoreus
When completing missions Amphoreus predominantly encountered opponents with a weakness to electrical, quantum и icy element. This is also the planet's main plot enemy - Nicador.
Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
---|---|---|---|---|
Acheron as a primary damage dealer is one of the most convenient options:
|
Alternative commands:
Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
---|---|---|---|---|
Aglaya and Jing Yuan are strong electric damage dealers who can close all the content presented on the planet. Given the specifics of these characters, the most suitable partners for them will be Resurrection and Pathfinder of Memory. Hoho is a great healer with buffs, but first of all, she combines perfectly with Aglaya due to the fact that she restores energy. | ||||
Great Gerta is an ice DPS hero, effective against single and multiple targets. Together with Jasper, who wields the quantum element, they create a pretty powerful synergy. However, if you don’t have one, you can also put Qingque (quantum) or Serval (electro). In turn, Tribby and Robin will provide the best support, as they spread buffs to all members of the squad, and Fu Xuan and Aventurine will offer protection. | ||||
Budget build with epic and standard characters. Xueyi and Qingque are quantum damage dealers, and Yanqing is ice. They are paired with secondary damage dealers or supports, preferably with the necessary elements, to reduce the resistance of opponents as actively as possible. In the case of Yanqing, it is recommended to use Cheetah (or another shielder) so that the talent works stably. |
The best units in Honkai Star Rail: builds and packs
Here are the most common command options in XCP. Note that a particular activity may require different elements, so if the given examples do not contain the required hero, you can replace it with a similar one (from the same Path), but with a different element.
Commands from the penetration effect
Boothill — the main damage dealer who follows the Path of the Hunt and relies on physical damage. Due to his skill, he deals a crushing blow to a single target, challenging the enemy to a Duel in which they can only attack each other. Similarly, he is effectively played from penetration and quickly reduces the enemy's durability bar Xueyi и Rappa, focused on area damage. Among the supports, one stands out Fugue, which personally destroys the vulnerability of enemies of any type and deals impressive damage.
Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
---|---|---|---|---|
A strong team with Boothill and with Ruan Mei, which increases the overall damage dealt of everyone in the group, increases the penetration efficiency and keeps opponents with pierced durability longer. The Trailblazer pairs best with them, but this is already becoming more of a super-breakthrough team. Any buffer like Armor will do instead. Gallagher or Locha will effectively heal everyone in the party. | ||||
As an example with the damage dealer Xuei, in the absence of Ruan Mei, Silver Wolf or Pela, which reduces the enemy’s defense, will be suitable for the slots of support heroes. Due to the quantum damage, the buffer Sparkle and the Fu Xuan protecting the squad will be a good addition. If the mentioned characters are missing or you are going to use Boothill instead of Xuei, then add two buffers and one hero for survival to them. | ||||
Like other damage dealers with a penetration mechanic, Rappa benefits from being teamed with defense-reducing debuffers and a dedicated support, Ruan Mei. In the absence of a legendary buffer, Asta is a good choice for the team, with her attack power increase, which increases Rappa's penetration damage through the Ninja Scroll: Fallen Leaves trail. For defensive support, consider Linshu or Gallagher. | ||||
Considering Fugue as a central character with a solid exhaustion of any vulnerability, you can create various squads with damage dealers of suitable mechanics. In addition to the classic Boothill and Rappa, Himeko will fit well in the main DD slot, whose bonus attack works from the destruction of enemy durability. As a second support, hypercarry supports Sparkle or Armor will do, promoting the actions of one ally. |
More units are represented in Build Boothill, build Xuei, Rappa's build и Fugue build.
Teams from super penetration
Firefly — a damage dealer who plays from the Path of Destruction and uses the fire element in battle. Her specialty is the transition to an enhanced state in the form of a fur, in which her blows become more powerful and are capable of inflicting super-penetration damage. The second character who plays from the mechanics in question is worth highlighting Fugu. Thanks to the talent, the fox provides stable work of super penetration in any pack.
Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
---|---|---|---|---|
The strongest team composition against super penetration, as well as with Firefly playing the role of the main source of damage. The Imaginary Pathfinder is strong due to its ult that imposes a status on the enemy, under which any damage after reducing durability is considered a super penetration. Jaun Mei increases the effectiveness of penetration and keeps enemies with broken resistance longer, and Gallagher heals the squad and has its own significant damage. | ||||
In the absence of Ruan Mei, she can be replaced by Peloy or Silver Wolf, which reduces enemy defense. It is possible to place a second damage dealer, Boothill or Xuei on the Pathfinder slot or another. Cowboy also has a super penetration mechanic, but Xuei will need a GG for this. | ||||
In a pack with Fugue, any damage dealer gains the ability to deal super-penetration damage thanks to her passive talent. Damage dealers such as Firefly and Boothill are best able to implement the buffs, and buffers such as Ruan Mei or False Pathfinder will help to further increase the damage numbers. |
More units are represented in Firefly build и Fugue build.
Commands from summoned creatures
Sunday — a unique Path of Harmony buffer that offers 100% action advancement not only to allies, but also to their summons. When using the skill, it allows the damager to immediately take a turn, followed by his companion placed in the turn queue.
Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
---|---|---|---|---|
With the support of Sunday, not only General Jing Yuan gets an action promotion, but also his bonus attack, Lightning Lord. At the same time, the buffer distributes positive crit boosts and replenishes energy for the super ability. Sparkle additionally raises the general in the queue for accumulating stacks of the bonus attack, and also provides the team with skill points. When replacing with Ting Yun, the energy gain for the ult is accelerated. | ||||
In a build with Topaz and the subspace piggy bank Accountant, the buffer Robin and the shielder Aventurine look great. Due to Resurrection, the damage dealer and the summoned creature often perform actions under the powerful buff of Robin, while accumulating stacks for Aventurine's bonus attacks. |
More units are represented in Sunday build.
Commands from the spirits of memory
Characters that use spirits of memory belong to a separate Path and have unique features, despite the similarity with those who simply summon creatures to the battlefield. In this case, the assistant not only acts separately, but is also a full-fledged member of the squad with his own skills and characteristics. However, mainly only the style of play changes, while the optimal supports remain the same due to similar specifics.
Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
---|---|---|---|---|
Main team with Aglaya, who is the main damage dealer and deals electrical damage with her memory spirit "Seamstress". Her key skill is — This is a superpower, which makes third-party energy boosts especially valuable. Sunday as a universal support for such builds will cover all of Aglaya's needs, including restoring energy and increasing DPS. Zaryanka will provide additional buffs to the entire squad. Xoxo - a healer who also increases attack power and gives even more energy. | ||||
A more budget-friendly build with Aglaya and epic characters. Instead of Resurrection, Tingyun is used, which can similarly restore energy. Memory Pioneer, in turn, thanks to the spirit of "Memo", will become an excellent support aimed at strengthening allies and assistants. Lynx — Free healer with instant and periodic healing. |
More units are represented in Aglaya's build и Memory Pathfinder build.
Team with Great Hertha
Greater Hertha — the main damage dealer of the Path of Erudition with an ice damage type. The heroine deals high damage in an area, but thanks to the mechanics of the Interpretation status, she also copes well with single targets. In order to most effectively accumulate stacks of this status, it is desirable to have characters in her squad who are capable of attacking frequently. In addition, the girl receives excellent bonuses if at least one representative of Erudition is present in her group.
Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
---|---|---|---|---|
The free version of Gerta or Serval, despite their epic rarity, are also great as an additional source of damage and a second hero of Erudite. Asta, in turn, is convenient because it increases the attack power and speed of all partners. Gallagher is engaged in healing and at the same time weakens enemies. | ||||
The classic and most powerful squad composition with Great Gerta. Jasper is the recommended secondary damage dealer of the Path of Erudition, as it allows for rapid accumulation of status levels and also increases speed when needed. Another option is Himeko or Argenti, which are less effective in this case, but are also a good alternative. Robin/Ruan Mei apply buffs to all allies, and Linsha/Aventurine, in addition to healing or protection, deal damage with a bonus attack. |
More units are represented in Great Hertha build.
Team with Feixiao - constant bonus attacks
Feixiao — a heroine who adheres to the Path of the Hunt and wields the wind element. She occupies the main position, causing most of the damage with a bonus attack, presented in the super ability, talent and skill. The key factor taken into account when selecting a squad is the mechanics of accumulating levels of the "Winged Beast" status, which are necessary for using the ult. In the set of stacks, the girl can also be significantly helped by her partners if they actively damage.
Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
---|---|---|---|---|
Feixiao works great with characters that specialize in bonus attack, just like her. This allows her to quickly gain levels for her ultimate. At the same time, Robin is the best support in such builds due to her buffs, which means she is practically irreplaceable for Feixiao. Aventurine/Lingsha not only maintain health, but also help with stacks. | ||||
Free March 7 Path of the Hunt with a second eidolon will be an optimal secondary damage dealer if there are no heroes from the previous squad. Robin remains the most recommended support, but can be replaced with a free Asta for the first time. Lynx is suitable as a healer, as she provides stable healing. |
More units are represented in build Feixiao.
Team with Zaryanka
Zaryanka - a support character who follows the Path of Harmony and has a physical type of attacks. After activating her ultimate ability, the heroine begins to sing and gives buffs to party members, entering a Concert state in which she becomes immune to control. In this state, Robin strikes an enemy every time her ally hits the enemy, and also strengthens all bonus attacks.
Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
---|---|---|---|---|
The best team of bonus attacks is a composition with two heroes from KMM and Dr. Ratio, who is one of the damage dealers. Topaz applies debuffs to increase the frequency of activation of his bonus attacks, has his own that come from the Accountant, and also increases the damage from them for everyone. Aventurine increases resistance to allies' effects, grants shields to them, and also has bonus attacks. An alternative to the mentioned damage dealers can be any other characters with bonus hits. For example, a good combination is Jing Yuan and Clara/Yunli, but they do not have the same synergy. | ||||
A squad with Feixiao, whose main damage is presented in the super ability, which is considered a bonus attack. To activate her ult, you need to collect stacks, which are given not only for the blows of Feixiao herself, but also for the pokes of allies. Based on this, the heroine gets a lot of benefit from the synergy with Zaryanka and other characters playing through bonus attacks. | ||||
In the absence of legendary event heroes, there are also more accessible characters with bonus attacks. So one of the strongest combinations for battles against a large number of enemies, as in Pure fiction, should be called Himeko with Herta. These heroines perform bonus attacks when their enemies' stamina or health decreases, similar to Xuei. Any hero will take the last slot to support the team’s health. |
More units are represented in Zaryanka build.
Team with Dr. Ratio
Doctor Ratio - a representative of the Path of the Hunt, specializes in inflicting imaginary damage on a single target. Its mechanics are associated with negative effects that increase the chance of performing a bonus attack. For this reason, it is advisable to place allies in his squad who can apply debuffs.
Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
---|---|---|---|---|
Doctor Ratio is the main DD, who deals damage with abilities and a bonus attack. Silver Wolf applies debuffs, causes vulnerability to the element of allies/Topaz debuffs with a skill and increases the damage of the bonus attack. Sparkle or Robin spread buffs, and Aventurine applies shields and additionally damages. | ||||
Moze is a decent epic alternative to Topaz, as she can apply a debuff and increases the damage taken by enemies from her bonus attack with a third trace. Jiaoqiu is a Path of Nothingness character, which means she provides additional negative effects while increasing Ratio's overall DPS. Lingsha is an optimal healer with decent damage and weakening of her own. | ||||
An easier option to build from free and 4-star characters. Sang — a debuffer that reduces the defense of enemies with an ult. Tingyun or Asta provide allies with increased attack power. In addition, Tingyun restores energy and increases damage, and Asta can buff speed and apply Burning (weaken). Natasha is a doctor, she hangs people with technology. "Weakness" effect. |
More units are represented in Doctor Ratio's build.
Team with Moon Eater
Moon Eater — the main damage dealer of the Path of Destruction with an imaginary element type. The main source of his damage is an enhanced basic attack, which requires a considerable amount of skill points to activate. The hero appreciates any supports, especially those who are undemanding in terms of skill points.
Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
---|---|---|---|---|
Sparkle is an ideal support hero due to her increased crit. damage, total DPS and skill point recovery. You can supplement the squad with Ruan Mei (increases the damage dealt and gives other buffs) or Tingyun (restores energy, which is useful for the expensive Moon Eater ult). Locha or Hoho are healers. | ||||
Instead of Sparkle, Hanya is suitable, which similarly restores skill points, while increasing attack power and speed. An alternative option is free Asta. Yukun is interesting because it not only increases crit. damage and crit. chance, but also gives a bonus to imaginary damage thanks to the trail. Lynx is used as a healer. |
More units are represented in Moon Eater build.
Team with Acheron
Acheron — the main damage dealer of the Path of Nothingness with an electrical type of damage. It has a unique superpower mechanic that does not consume energy and deals huge DPS. Before E2, you need 2 allies of the Path of Nothingness for the bonus from the “Abyss” trace to take effect. If E1 is open, you can replace any Nothingness character with Harmony.
Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
---|---|---|---|---|
Acheron gets max. boost from the trail thanks to Silver Wolf/Welt and Pele. The main goal is to constantly apply negative effects in order to accumulate “Crimson Knots” for Acheron, which will subsequently be able to inflict increased damage from her ultimate. Additional debuffs will be provided by the following cones on supports: "Determination shines like pearls of sweat" (Non-Existence) and Galactic Market Trend (Conservation). | ||||
Jiaoqiu is a perfect choice for the main character of Path of Nothingness. He provides Acheron with a very useful debuff, Burning Ash, which increases the overall damage taken by enemies and the damage of the ultimate. Linsha is not only a healer, but also partly a sub-DD with an additional negative effect. However, Gallagher can also be used instead. | ||||
The squad works similarly to the previous one, except that legendary characters are replaced by epic ones. Depending on the heroes available on your account, you can combine any followers of the Path of Non-existence. |
More units are represented in build Acheron.
Team with Kafka – DoT damage
Kafka - damage dealer of the Path of Nothingness, masters the electric element and specializes in periodic damage. He mostly plays in a team with other DoT characters, as he interacts well with them and allows him to unleash the full potential of such a build.
Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
---|---|---|---|---|
Kafka pairs best with Black Swan, which applies special stacks of Arcana (initially counts as Weathering, but becomes all re-damage effects once the ult is activated). The build shows high damage figures and is quite mobile due to the fact that Kafka’s skill makes all DoT statuses work instantly. Ruan Mei is a support that increases damage dealt, effect and penetration efficiency. Hoho or Bailu - heal allies. | ||||
The Black Swan is also well replaced by Guinaifen, Luka and Sampo, which cause periodic damage. Asta (increases attack power, speed and applies Burning with a basic attack) or Tingyun (increases damage dealt, attack power and restores energy) are suitable as a support buffer. Lynx and Fire Hero protect the squad. The Pioneer can use Galactic Market Trend for DoT status. |
More units are represented in build of Kafka.
Team with Black Swan – Arcana
Black Swan - a primary or secondary DD who follows the Path of Non-existence and owns the wind element. Its main mechanic is the accumulation of Arcana status levels. By default, the status is considered Weathering, but after using the super, it becomes all DoT statuses (Weathering, Bleeding, Burning and Shock).
Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
---|---|---|---|---|
The best Black Swan team is the one with Kafka, as they complement each other very well. Kafka helps build Arcana stacks with his ult, bonus attack, and by activating all the effects with initial damage. Swan applies Weathering and other DoT statuses, lowers defense, and increases the damage taken by enemies. Ruan Mei or Zaryanka provide the team with buffs, and Hoho provides healing. | ||||
Black Swan can also play with other DoT characters (Sampo, Guinaifen, Luka), and any hero on the account, such as Asta, can be used as a support-buffer. In addition, there is an option to put characters that can impose additional statuses with periodic damage (Serval, Hook or Himeko). |
More units are represented in Black Swan build.
Team with Blade
Blade - a character who occupies a leading position in the squad. Follows the Path of Destruction, wields the wind element and focuses on dealing massive damage while sacrificing his health. In addition, HP lost during combat increases the damage of the superpower. For this reason, Abundance allies are more desirable to him than Preservation.
Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
---|---|---|---|---|
Blade is a main DD who easily destroys all enemies thanks to the support of supports:
| ||||
Budget squad. Tingyun increases damage dealt and restores energy with a superpower/Hanya also increases damage if enemies have the Nosha status, gives skill points. Pela cuts off the defense of all opponents on the field so that Blade can deal even more damage to them. Lynx or Natasha use healing skills if necessary. |
More units are represented in Blade build.
Team with Zele – Mono-quant
Universal squad with Seele, the heroine of the Path of the Hunt with a quantum element type. The main feature of the build is the quick destruction of monsters and achieving victory in a short time. Suitable for fighting against bosses, elite monsters and small groups. Doesn't depend on enemy vulnerabilities thanks to skill mechanics Silver Wolf.
Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
---|---|---|---|---|
Zele is the core of the group. She deals most of her damage with skill and super. Silver Wolf is an equally significant character in the squad, as he creates vulnerability to the quantum type of element. Sparkle increases DPS and crit. damage and restores skill points. Fu Xuan - tanks and redirects part of the damage incoming to allies. | ||||
A more budget-friendly version of the mono-quantum assembly. Instead of Sparkle, Qingque is placed, which deals damage in an area, or Xuei, which concentrates more on single targets. Lynx is an excellent epic (free) healer, capable of independently maintaining the team’s survivability with the help of skills. |
More units are represented in Build Zele.
Team with Jing Yuan – Lightning Lord
The squad is designed to play from the bonus attack of the Lightning Lord, which he summons Jing Yuan, is a Path of Erudition character with an electric damage type. In addition, General Xianzhou himself deals high electrical damage to all enemies on the battlefield.
Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
---|---|---|---|---|
One of Jing Yuan's strongest units, where he gets the maximum boost to his Lightning Lord. Robin increases the crit damage of bonus attacks with her second trail, and Resurrection provides powerful buffs that will be useful for both Jing Yuan and his summon. Aventurine is a powerful representative of the Path of Preservation with strong shields, and in addition, a good secondary damage dealer. | ||||
| ||||
Free assembly option. Asta is placed in the role of a support-buffer, which increases the speed and power of attack. At the same time, she can deal good fire damage when she uses the skill. The Pathfinder and Natasha protect the squad. |
More units are represented in Jing Yuan build.
Team with Himeko - Mono Fire
Himeko - a standard hero of the Path of Erudition with the fire element. This unit will be effective against enemies with a weakness to fire. This is achieved thanks to the bonus to fire damage from Asty, as well as by imposing the Burning status on all group members.
Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
---|---|---|---|---|
Himeko deals area damage, and after using the technique, creates a Burning Zone, where enemies are dealt 10% more fire damage. Hook or Guinaifen inflicts the Burning status and deals additional damage. Asta buffs the attack speed of her ult and increases fire damage by 8% when leveling up the Ignite trail. The Pathfinder provides the squad with shields. | ||||
Given that Himeko can deal damage using her bonus attack, Topaz pairs well with her. The heroine not only enhances this type of blows, but also deals fire damage herself with the help of a piggy bank. |
More units are represented in Build Himeko.
Team with Clara - Counterattack
Clara - An excellent tank and counterattacking Path of Destruction character with a physical element type. In most cases, he acts as a sub-deader and deals damage “from the pocket” with a bonus attack, helping the main damage dealer.
Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
---|---|---|---|---|
Clara counterattacks with Svarog's marks when her allies or herself receive damage. Topaz also uses bonus hits and enhances them in the process. Ruan Mei fits perfectly into a squad consisting of two damage dealers, as her buffs apply to all allies. March 7 is a shield warrior who can similarly perform bonus attacks. | ||||
A squad suitable for beginners. As the main or secondary damage dealer, you can use Dan Heng or, for example, Xuei/Gerta, who use a bonus attack. To prevent your allies from losing health, it is recommended to combine a healer and a shieldman. However, if there are no problems with survivability, any hero of the Path of Harmony or Non-existence is placed instead of Natasha or March 7. |
More units are represented in Clara's build.
Team with Welt – Conclusion
Welt - an imaginary hero who follows the Path of Nothingness and weakens opponents, reducing their speed and delaying actions with the “Conclusion” status. Since he plays the role of a debuffer and a secondary damage dealer, he needs characters in his squad who specialize in dealing damage.
Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
---|---|---|---|---|
Welt inflicts the Imprisonment status and slows down enemies. Moon Eater is the main damage dealer, dealing most of the damage with an enhanced basic attack. The squad is complemented by the Silver Wolf, which will create vulnerability to quantum or imaginary element types, or Hanya if buffs are needed. Locha is a healer, deals area damage with his ult and removes buffs from enemies. | ||||
Budget version of the detachment with Welt:
|
More units are represented in Welt build.
Team Yanqing – Empathic Connection
Yanqing — Path of the Hunt damage dealer with ice type damage. This is a comfortable character who increases his own crit ratings. damage and crit. chance. However, the talent that provides him with these buffs forces him to play with shield warriors for the “Empathic Link” to work.
Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
---|---|---|---|---|
A team in which Yanqing reaches his full potential thanks to buffs from Ruan Mei/Armor, which significantly increases his damage, as well as Tingyun, which restores energy. It is optimal to place the Cheetah in the last position, capable of supporting the squad with a shield, which will ensure the constant effect of the Empathic Link. | ||||
Free assembly. Yukun increases attack power, crit. damage and crit. chance, and with a superpower it deals imaginary damage to one target. The Fiery Pathfinder distracts enemies and applies shields (you can use March 7). Lynx provides healing so that the health of allies does not sag. |
More units are represented in Yanqin build.
Team with Armor
Armor - a universal hero who belongs to the Path of Harmony and owns the wind element. Joins many teams and completely covers the need of allies for buffs. Mainly serves as support for the hypercarry (the only damage dealer), but can be part of any squad.
Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
---|---|---|---|---|
An example of a classic unit with Armor:
| ||||
Budget version, where only epic heroes are presented. Characters from the paths of Hunting, Destruction and Erudition are considered as damage dealers. You can pair them with a sub-dd of the Path of Non-existence, which inflicts additional damage. damage and apply debuffs, or Harmony. The last slot is closed by the Path of Abundance (healing) or Conservation (protection). |
More units are represented in armor build.
Team with Cheetah
Cheetah, as a representative of the Path of Conservation (ice), is capable of single-handedly maintaining the team’s survivability, which makes it possible to concentrate on the selection of DPS heroes, as well as buffers and debuffers.
Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
---|---|---|---|---|
Cheetah applies shields to all allies with a super ability, while taking some of the hits on himself. Any characters of Hunting, Erudition or Destruction are suitable as damage dealers. For the remaining positions, secondary DPS heroes or supports are recommended, who will strengthen the team or weaken enemy targets. | ||||
Alternative build option with epic and free characters. The command line is exactly the same:
|
More units introduced in the Cheetah build.
Team with Bailu
Bailu - an excellent healer of the Path of Abundance with an electric element type. Restores health with a skill to several allies and a superpower to all squad members, which is why any team will be glad to have her present. It is suitable for diverse builds where stable healing is needed.
Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
---|---|---|---|---|
A squad with Bailu, where she effectively heals allies and can resurrect 1 time during the battle. The rest of the group is selected depending on the content. For example, one damage dealer is placed, and the assembly is supplemented with two heroes of the Path of Harmony in order to maximize the main damage control. | ||||
Budget team of epic characters. It works on the same principle as the previous group. As an alternative, you can replace one buffer with a sub-dd of the Path of Oblivion, Destruction, Hunting or Erudition. |
More units are represented in build Bailu.
Best Squads for Newbies in Honkai: Star Rail
This paragraph presents commands that are suitable for beginners or F2P players.
With epic and free characters
Examples of squads consisting of 4⭐ (epic) and free heroes, which are given for completing story missions and game activities.
Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
---|---|---|---|---|
A completely free team that is comfortable with the starting content and storyline. Dan Heng is the main damage dealer, can slow down enemies and deal wind damage to single targets. The Physical Pathfinder does additional damage, including against multiple enemies. Asta increases the speed and attack power of allies, penetrates fire vulnerability with a skill. March 7 Ice applies a shield, carries out a bonus attack and freezes. If there are problems with survivability, Asta can be replaced with Natasha or any other healer. | ||||
Another F2P squad led by Gerta, who can go through the starting content that requires mass damage. To ensure maximum strengthening of the heroine, it is necessary to add supports to the squad. For example, Yukun will balance crits, and Pathfinder of Memory will allow you to inflict additional true damage. Gallagher, in addition to healing, weakens enemies. | ||||
Budget build from penetration. Xuei initially specializes in this type of damage, while for Sushan it is one of the alternative builds. The best characters for such a group will be March 7 Path of the Hunt and Harmony Pathfinder, focused on increasing the penetration effect. Gallagher also applies a debuff that increases the damage enemies take from stamina depletion. | ||||
A bonus attack team with Moze as the main DPS character. Since Marth 7 Imaginary performs such attacks herself with a second eidolon, she can be used as a secondary damage dealer and buffer. Gerta or Xuei are similarly capable of performing bonus attacks, including on multiple enemy targets. However, if necessary, they can be replaced with any Harmony/Non-Existence support. | ||||
A squad suitable for fighting against a single target or a group of enemies. Serval/Gertha/Qingque deal area damage, and Dan Heng/Sushan focus on one enemy. The support position is best filled with characters from the Path of Harmony, such as Hanyu or Tingyun. The build is completed by heroes that provide healing to allies. | ||||
The heroes of the Path of Destruction act as the main damage dealers. Any representative of the Path of Harmony is placed next to them as support. In this case, Abundance and Conservation are combined to ensure maximum group survivability. After receiving the second element, Fire Pathfinder can replace March 7. | ||||
The team for completing "Pure Fiction". Qingque takes the main position, and Serval or Gerta helps her with additional area damage. However, the heroines can be swapped depending on the number of unlocked eidolons and the level of pumping. The Pathfinder of Memory also does some damage with his spirit of memory, strengthens allies and allows you to deal true damage. | ||||
A mono-fire build with Hook that focuses on destroying enemies. Along with this, Asta gives buffs and increases fire damage, while Guinaifen applies the periodic Burning status and increases the incoming damage taken by enemy targets with Fiery Kiss. Gallagher not only restores health, but also deals some damage. | ||||
The Path of the Hunt is the basis of the squad. They deal most of their damage to a single target. Instead of additional protection or two Harmony characters, you can install a Path of Oblivion debuffer to weaken enemies and increase the damage they receive. In addition, heroes of this class are also capable of dealing damage, serving as secondary damage dealers. | ||||
Budget team through damage over time. Characters of the first/second position deal damage by imposing DoT statuses (Weathering, Shock, Burning, Bleeding). Support buffers should provide allies with increased attack power, speed or damage. The last slot in the squad is occupied by heroes of the Path of Abundance or Conservation. |
With legendary stock characters
Examples of units that include 5⭐(legendary) heroes that are in the permanent (standard) Star Leap banner.
Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
---|---|---|---|---|
Yanqing is the main damage dealer, dealing ice damage to a single target. Since it is undesirable for him to receive damage for the talent to work, a shield warrior, for example, Cheetah, is placed in the squad. March 7 can be used instead, but the protection in this case becomes weaker. Velt is a debuffer that deals imaginary damage and at the same time weakens enemies, imposing the Imprisonment status on them. | ||||
Another variant of the previous build. Instead of Welt, Armor is placed, which is a character of the Path of Harmony and provides Yanqin with an increase in attack power, crit. and damage caused, allows you to immediately perform an action (move). Alternative support - Chania. For additional survivability, a healer is used in conjunction with the Preservation Path character. | ||||
A team with Welt in the lead. Since he constantly slows enemies and applies the Imprisoned status, you can neglect the healer or shielder in favor of more buffs. In particular, the build is perfectly complemented by Ruan Mei, who not only spreads the buffs to all allies, but also additionally delays the actions of enemies. | ||||
Himeko fits perfectly into the Great Gerta's squad as another Path of Erudition character. In addition, allies who can attack frequently are needed so that Gerta can gain more energy and Interpretation stacks. The Pioneer of Memory gives positive statuses, allows for true damage, and also deals damage with the Spirit of Memory. Linsha, in addition to healing, carries out a bonus attack. | ||||
A squad with Clara, who focuses on counterattacking and absorbing enemy attacks. Topaz — a fiery secondary DPS character focused on increasing bonus attack. Sparkle helps allies not to sag in skill points by restoring them and at the same time increases attack power, total and crit. damage. Locha/Baylu are engaged in healing. | ||||
The armor in this case is a support for Aglaya, who deals electrical damage with her Spirit of Memory. The robin is a third-party source of buffs, including advancing each ally's actions when using the ultimate. It is also worth considering that Aglaya's ultimate is quite expensive, which is why it is recommended to place Hoho, who restores energy, as a healer. | ||||
Himeko deals fire damage in an area with her skills and bonus attack. Clara not only tanks, but also deals additional physical damage to several targets. Asta increases speed, attack power and fire damage with the help of the trail. Bailu/Natasha heal allies if necessary. | ||||
Clara/Himeko are the main damage dealers. Pela lowers the defense of all enemies on the battlefield using her superpower. She also removes a buff from one enemy with a skill. Tingyun increases damage dealt, attack power and restores energy to the selected team member. Bailu/Lynx guards the health of the group. |
Best squads against bosses
Teams suitable for fighting against weekly bosses and elite monsters in the open world, Stagnant Shadow, Simulated Universe , oblivion hall и Illusions of the end.
Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
---|---|---|---|---|
Aglaya deals high electrical damage when using her enhanced basic attack in the "Ultimate Form" state, as well as due to her spirit of memory. She is effective in various battle modes, including battles against large targets. To maximize the heroine and her assistant, it is optimal to put Resurrection and Pioneer of Memory/Zaryanka. Hoho helps with additional energy. | ||||
Feixiao is a fairly strong Path of the Hunt character. She relies on her bonus attack, which is her main source of damage. When using her superpower, she reduces the enemy's durability, regardless of their initial vulnerability type, making Feixiao a versatile fighter. Considering the focus of her skills, it is recommended to use supports that buff her bonus attack (Topaz and Zaryanka). | ||||
Acheron completely ignores enemy weaknesses when dealing damage with her ultimate. In synergy with two more Path of Oblivion characters, she additionally increases her DPS. Thus, she easily copes with even the densest monsters. Since it is important for the ultimate to accumulate stacks of debuffs, it is advisable to put healers/shielders with debuffs on the last slot. | ||||
A team from penetration with Firefly, which can not only deal significant damage to bosses, but also independently impose vulnerability on them. Thanks to this, it does not depend on the initial weakness of the enemy. The best support in this case are: Fugue, Harmony Pioneer and Ruan Mei. However, it is worth considering that the character becomes weak against enemies that can block their stamina scale. | ||||
Yanqing is the main dd. Ruan Mei increases damage dealt, effect and penetration efficiency/Armor increases crit. damage, attack power, and advances the action, allowing you to retake the move. Tingyun gives a buff to attack power and energy recovery. Cheetah puts up shields to minimize Yanqin taking damage. | ||||
Zele/Xuei/Qingque focuses on dealing damage, while Twilight/Armor buffs them to push the action forward. Silver Wolf creates vulnerability to the quantum element (including wind, if Armor is used) or Pela lowers the defense of all enemies. Fu Xuan/Lynx - support the team's survivability. | ||||
A strong squad through imaginary and quantum penetration. Regardless of the enemy's weakness, Silver Wolf will allow you to reduce the durability scale thanks to his skill. Moon Eater/Ratio - damage dealers who deal huge imaginary damage, especially while under buffs. | ||||
A team that plays through periodic damage shows itself well against bosses. The combination of Kafka and Black Swan/Luka (or another DoT character) is especially effective due to the fact that Stellaron Hunter instantly activates all applied effects with periodic damage. Hoho is convenient due to passive healing, energy restoration and an increase in attack power. | ||||
Jingliu and Blade, despite both being damage dealers, work well together. If the enemy is weak to Ice and Wind, the team will deal with them pretty quickly, especially with the buffs of the Path of Harmony support. Due to Jingliu and Blade's mechanics, a well-leveled healer is a must. | ||||
Dan Heng or Sushan are the main DDs around which the squad is built. They need supports and sub-DDs that provide various buffs, protection or healing. Hook/Pioneer/Arlan are secondary damage dealers that deal damage to multiple enemy targets. Asta increases attack speed and power or Tingyun restores energy and increases damage. The last slot is occupied by a character of Abundance (can be replaced with Preservation). |
Best AoE Damage Squads
Teams suitable for completing activities such as “Sepal (crimson)” and “Sepal (golden)”. In addition, the listed assemblies are effective in mode Pure fiction, where massive damage and quick clearing of enemy waves are in demand.
Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
---|---|---|---|---|
Great Gerta is capable of easily crushing incoming waves of enemies, and in her classic build, together with the second damage dealer of the Path of Erudition, she is one of the best characters for completing Pure Fiction. Tribby or Zaryanka, thanks to the spread of mass buffs, are ideal additions to the squad, and Aventurine will provide even more attacks in addition to applying shields. | ||||
Rappa plays by penetrating enemy vulnerabilities and deals decent area damage, as she belongs to the representatives of the Path of Erudition. During combat, she relies on an enhanced basic attack, which she receives when using her super ability. Due to the mechanics, it is advisable to put supports in her team that can drain stamina. For example, Fugue and Linsha are great for this. | ||||
Argenti is a physical main DD who can handle activities that require massive damage without any problems. Since his main source of DPS is his ultimate, it is necessary to assemble the squad in such a way as to maximize energy. To do this, it is advisable to put Tingyun and Hoho in the squad. Twilight and Hanya apply buffs and restore skill points. | ||||
Jing Yuan is a great damage dealer with massive electrical damage. To penetrate additional vulnerabilities and deal more DPS, you can put Himeko or Clara. Robin does a little damage during the ult, increases attack power, damage, and advances the actions of all allies. Fu Xuan/Cheetah protect the squad. | ||||
Acheron deals damage to multiple targets when he activates a skill or super ability. In addition, he is usually combined with two Path of Nothingness characters, who similarly deal damage to different enemies. In combination with ignoring enemy weaknesses, he can close AoE content. For additional damage, it is recommended to put Linsha in the healer position. | ||||
Detachment across the lane. the damage is effective both against large mobs and against waves of enemies due to skills that apply to several targets or to all mobs at once. In order to clear waves faster, you can neglect the Path of Harmony for another damage dealer with AoE damage. The Fire Pathfinder applies shields and also deals fire damage in an area. | ||||
Jingliu and Blade's squad is quite versatile and is also suitable for clearing waves of enemies. Both characters deal damage to several targets in parallel, causing enemies to die quickly. Given the mechanics of main DD, the healer should be well pumped. | ||||
Himeko deals fire damage, while Gerta has a talent that allows her to perform a bonus attack on enemies with HP below 50%. Qingque, who can perform an enhanced AoE strike and damage an area with her ult, is also suitable instead. Asta extends bonuses to attack power and speed. Bailu periodically uses healing if the HP of allies sags. | ||||
Budget option from epic and free characters. Serval/Qingque deal most of the damage while Gerta finishes off enemies who are at half health or below. For the last two slots, you can take Nothingness characters to debuff your opponents. For example, Pela will lower defense, and Sampo will delay his actions and deal periodic damage. |

Characters that will fit into most squads
The table shows universal heroes who perform effectively in many teams.
Character | Damage Path and Type | Features |
---|---|---|
A standard Path of Harmony character with strong and useful buffs at any stage. Armor allows you to immediately perform an action (move), increases damage done, attack power and crit. damage Has useful traces that additionally increase all damage and defense of allies. | ||
Event character Harmony with mechanics similar to Armor: increases damage and crit. damage, advances the action forward by 50%. In addition, it restores skill points, which is especially important for damage dealers who are demanding in terms of skill points. Next, it increases the attack power for each ally of the quantum element. | ||
Event representative of the Path of Harmony with various buffs: increases damage dealt, speed, efficiency and penetration effect. In addition, it can passively damage and increase the penetration of resistance of all types of elements, delaying the actions of enemies and prolonging the state of broken vulnerability. | ||
One of the most versatile buffers from the limited banner. Zaryanka is an excellent support in squads that play from the bonus attack, as well as in all other build options, especially with two damage dealers in the team. Her abilities affect all allies, increasing attack power, total and critical damage and advancing the team's actions. | ||
An epic rarity heroine with skill point recovery, which will be a useful feature when going through any combat content. In particular, DPS characters who actively consume skill points will be happy with her if Sparkle is missing. In addition, Hanya increases speed, attack power and damage dealt. | ||
The main character of the ice element is a strong ally in cooperation with his spirit of memory Memo. The character, together with the assistant, primarily focuses on spreading buffs. For example, due to Memo's passive skills, he increases the critical damage of allies, advances the action and allows additional true damage. | ||
A Path of Harmony character from the event banner. Has powerful buffs that target one party member and their spirit of memory. His skills focus on increasing crit. indicators, overall damage dealt, energy recovery, and action progress. These buffs are in high demand for most damage dealers, regardless of whether they have a summoned creature. | ||
The event heroine offers universal buffs that directly increase the damage of the entire team. This allows her to be used in any build, even if the main DPS character is scaled by HP. In addition, she herself deals good damage with her ult and bonus attack. There are certain units with which Tribby has the best synergy, but in general, the envoy plays with anyone if you adjust the build. | ||
Aventurine is a shielder from the limited "Jump" and is responsible for survivability. He imposes strong shields on each partner with the help of the skill and when accumulating charges of "Blind Bet". However, this is not the only thing that Aventurine provides to allies. The character is also able to damage with a bonus attack, acting as a sub-DD. | ||
An epic buffer that offers increased damage and attack power. However, one of the main features of the character is the ability to restore energy to a selected ally, which is in demand not only for the main damage dealers, but also for the rest of the squad. | ||
Five-star debuffer. Attacks apply the "Hot Ash" status to the enemy (also counts as a "Burning" debuff), which increases damage taken, and the super ability creates a zone that increases damage taken by allies' ultimates. | ||
A legendary hero of the Path of Nothingness with unique mechanics that allows Inflict on the enemy the same type of vulnerability as the element of a random ally. This opens up the possibility of creating units independent of enemy weaknesses. Silver Wolf also reduces defense, attack power and speed. | ||
Path of Oblivion Debuffer of epic rarity. He is in great demand and can be used as a support/sub-DD in any group. Pela lowers the defense of all enemies on the battlefield, and also removes a buff from one enemy. In many situations, these mechanics can have a significant impact on the outcome of a battle. | ||
Save Path character from the event banner. Unlike most heroes of its class, it does not apply shields, but instead creates The Matrix of Foresight, which transfers a portion of the damage received by allies to Fu Xuan. She can also heal a little, deal damage, and increase crit. chance and HP. | ||
Limited edition hero of the Path of Abundance. Summons a Magic Circle on the battlefield that passively heals allies when they attack opponents. Can heal instantly if health drops to 50% or below and remove debuffs. No less remarkable is the ultimate, which removes one positive effect from all enemies. | ||
Event representative of the Path of Abundance. Like Locha, it can passively heal due to the Sacrifice of Life status: at the beginning of an ally's turn, after using a super ability, or when HP drops to half. Removes weakening from squad members, and with an ultimate increases attack power and restores energy to the entire group. | ||
An extremely versatile healer who not only effectively restores the team's health, but also deals damage and debuffs. Summons a creature onto the battlefield that is a bonus attack, passively heals and removes debuffs. The heroine herself imposes a debuff with her superpower, increasing the penetration damage received by enemies. | ||
It is an epic version of Linsha, as it has some of the same mechanics: heals, debuffs, deals a little damage, and removes debuffs. Its key negative status is "Dead Drunk" affects all enemies and increases base attack. Gallagher is a great addition to any team, providing good survivability and other bonuses. | ||
Four star healer. Heals the skill of several allies, and if they belong to the Path of Destruction or Conservation, it increases their chances of being attacked. With his superpower, he heals the entire team, removing one debuff at a time. Both skills apply a periodic healing effect to party members. |
