Mizuki in Genshin Impact: Best Build Guide | 5⭐️ Anemo🌪️

Guide to the best Mizuki build: how to play as the Yumekui-baku from Inazuma.

Guide to Yumemizuki Mizuki Genshin impact — a yōkai yumekui-baku from Inazuma who plays the role of driver in the squad. The heroine controls the Anemo element and plays best in teams with pocket sub-DDs of different elements.

With her abilities, Mizuki can enhance the reaction of Dispersion and constantly trigger it while in a stance from an elemental skill. In addition to skills that deal damage, the girl supports the team with an ult that heals the active character. Mizuki's main abilities depend on the mastery of the elements, which is why it is quite easy to collect both damage and healing.

In the game's story, Yumemizuki Mizuki is a yokai from Inazuma who is a yumekui-baku, a kind spirit that feeds on people's nightmares. Like other yokai in the Electro region, she has integrated into human society and is a psychologist, as well as a shareholder in the Aisa Baths.

The Story of Yumemizuki Mizuki (Biography)

Yumemizuki Mizuki is a yokai girl who is actually a member of the Baku, mythical beasts that eat people's bad dreams. Many of their dreams are dangerous to the Baku, so Mizuki began working with humans to make dreams pleasant to eat again, combining her yokai abilities with her job as a clinical psychologist at the Aisa Baths.

Despite his Inazuma origins, Mizuki often travels around Teyvat and has friends in other regions, including Natlan, in which she once helped a warrior who was facing horrors from the Abyss. One of her childhood friends is Yae Miko, who is also the head of the Yae Publishing House, a major competitor of the Aisa Baths. However, the youkai continue to communicate with each other despite the competition.

Mizuki will also be available in the event anniversary of the game 2025, which will take place in August-September. There you can pick her up for free as a standard character as a gift.

Follow the update banner schedules, so as not to miss Mizuki's rerun and her signatures.

Mizuki Stats: What Increases with Elevation

The main characteristic of Mizuki is mastery of the elementsIn addition to this, the health, attack power and defense indicators also grow, the total value of which can be seen in the table:

Mizuki's abilities

Mizuki's role in teams is either as the primary damage dealer from the Dispersion reaction, or as a driver who attacks with Anemo damage to the elemental effects on enemies that her allies have inflicted. However, unlike other drivers, she does not use normal attacks, preferring an elemental skill that allows her to hover in the air for a while and automatically attack nearby enemies. Mizuki's Elemental Burst is similar in mechanics to Bennett's and Sayu's ults, as it depends on the active character's HP and either deals Anemo damage or heals the hero.

Basic skills (active skills)

Let's take a look at all of Mizuki's abilities, talk about her passives and constellations, and also in what order to upgrade her skills.

Pure Heart, Pure Dreams (Normal, Charged, Falling Attack)

Source of damage: Attack Power.

Normal attack: Deals up to three Anemo hits.

Charged Attack: Spends stamina and attacks Anemo with area damage.

Plunging Attack: turns into a clot of Anemo energy and then descends to the ground, attacking the area with this element.

Pilgrimage to Aisa Utamakura

Skill damage source: Attack Power.

Source of damage increase from Dispel: mastery of the elements.

Duration of Dreamwalker: 5 seconds

Rollback time: 15 seconds

Mizuki deals one AoE Anemo damage and enters a Dream Floating state where she constantly floats above the ground:

  • Mizuki constantly moves forward, hovering at a distance from the ground, and periodically deals Anemo damage to nearby enemies.
  • The girl cannot use normal or charged attacks.
  • The damage of the Disperse reaction activated by party members increases based on Mizuki's Elemental Mastery.
  • The collection distance of Yumemi-Style Snacks from the Elemental Burst increases.
  • The Dream Floating state ends if Mizuki leaves the battlefield.

Anraku Secret Spring Therapy

Source of damage: Attack Power.

Treatment source: mastery of the elements.

Duration: 12 seconds

Rollback time: 15 seconds

Power consumption: 60 units.

Deals Anemo damage to an area and pulls nearby enemies/items, then summons a mini-Baku.

Mini tank: Follows the active character and creates a Yumemi-Style Snack nearby. If picked up by a character with HP above 70%, it will release a Munen Wave, dealing Anemo damage to nearby enemies. If an ally's HP is below 70%, it will restore the character's HP based on Mizuki's Elemental Mastery. However, if picked up by Mizuki herself, the healing amount is increased by 100%. If Yumemi-Style Snacks are not picked up, they will explode with Anemo damage on their own after a certain amount of time.

The order of leveling talents

Elemental Skill (E) ≥ Elemental Burst (Q) > Normal Attacks (optional)

The order of leveling up Mizuki's skills is as follows:

  1. Elemental Skill — is Mizuki's main source of damage, although the skill's damage itself is not very important in this case, since it scales with attack power. The main interest here is the increase in Dispersion reaction from Elemental Mastery. The size of the buff increases as you level up, so it is necessary to raise the ability level to the maximum.
  2. Explosion of the elements - as in the case of E, the ult will give a small increase in Anemo damage. The most useful is the healing power, because of which it is worth pumping the ult in parallel with the skill.
  3. Normal attacks - Despite the fact that Mizuki is a driver, she does not use regular attacks, which are replaced by automatic strikes in a stance from the skill. You can pump them up if you want and have extra resources.

Passive skills

Mizuki's Passive Abilities:

Talent Effect
All diseases are eradicated When Mizuki is in the party, dishes with healing abilities restore 30% more HP. The higher the friendship level with the character, the higher the chance of increasing the healing from the dish.
The restless voice of the bright moon

When Mizuki is in the Dream Floating state and triggers the Disperse reaction, the duration of the state is increased by 2.5 seconds. The effect can occur once every 0.3 seconds and up to 2 times during the same state.

This way, the duration of the Dream Floating state can be extended to 10 seconds.

On my mind during the day, in my dreams at night When Pyro, Hydro, Cryo, or Electro allies attack enemies while Mizuki is in Dreamfloat, her Elemental Mastery is increased by 100 for 4 seconds.

Constellations

All constellations of Yumemizuki Mizuki:

Name Effect
1. In the foggy waters While in Dreamfloat, Mizuki applies the Twenty-Three Nights of Waiting debuff to enemies every 3.5 seconds for 3 seconds. When an enemy with this debuff takes Anemo damage that triggers the Dispel reaction, the debuff is removed and the reaction damage is increased by 1100% of Mizuki's Elemental Mastery.
2. A dream will reveal your silhouette... Each point of Mizuki's Elemental Mastery after entering Dreamfloat grants 0.04% bonus Pyro, Hydro, Cryo, and Electro damage to allies until the stance ends.
3. With the dawn the night left Increases elemental skill level by 3. Max. level: 15.
4. Flowers by the water After picking up the Yumemi-Style Snack created by the Elemental Burst, it will simultaneously deal damage, heal the active character, and restore 5 energy to Mizuki. This energy can only be restored 4 times per ult.
5. Under the fading moon… Increases elemental burst level by 3. Max. level: 15.
6. The heart is yearning When Mizuki is in Dream Floating, the reaction Disperse can crit. However, its crit chance is 30% and crit damage is 100%.

The best constellations of Mizuki are - С1, С2 и С4.

  • first constellation Greatly increases reaction damage Scatter to nearby enemies with the effect of Twenty-three Nights of Waiting depending on Mizuki's Elemental Mastery three times in one stance. Since the heroine initially goes into Elemental Mastery, this will give additional damage during the rotation. The only drawback is that the effect disappears after the first damage is dealt.
  • Second constellation increases the elemental damage of allies during Mizuki's stance from her Elemental Mastery, which is equal to, for example, 40% at 1000 MS. Konsta will allow the character to buff allies, which is very useful. Notably, her buff is similar to Kazuha's buff, but does not force the Dispel reaction.
  • fourth constellation Removes the HP cap when healing or dealing damage with Snacks from the ult. This makes the skill much easier to use and turns Mizuki into a more convenient support with healing abilities. In addition, Snacks will restore up to 20 energy to Mizuki, which will allow her to gain Elemental Burst faster and forgo energy restoration in artifacts in favor of other stats.

How to play as Mizuki

In the squad, Mizuki takes the position of main DD/driver through Dispersion, supporting strong pocket damage dealers in allies. Her gameplay is notable for the fact that she does not use normal attacks, but spends the entire fight in the Dream Floating stance, occasionally switching to other heroes in the team to refresh their abilities.

Even while switching to allies, she can continue to inflict Disperse from Yumemi-style Snack hits, as well as heal other characters if their HP is below 70%. Having a fourth constellation makes this skill easier to use, allowing her to deal damage while keeping her allies' HP high.

Rotation

Procedure: activate pocket sub-DD and support abilities > switch to Mizuki and enter Dream Float state (E) > fly around enemies, dealing Anemo damage and causing Dispersion > use Elemental Burst (Q) > switch back to sub-DD and refresh their skills.

  1. Since Mizuki plays from the reaction Dispersion, she needs stable elemental statuses on enemies from allies. Each fight should be started by activating the skills of supports and sub-DDs, which will increase all damage and give effects for reactions.
  2. Switch to Mizuki and use her elemental skill to enter the Dream Floating state. While this state lasts (10 sec), move near enemies to have her automatically attack them and inflict Dispersion.
  3. Elemental Burst can be used in two situations - if Mizuki's HP is low and she needs healing, or when switching to allies to continue dealing Anemo damage while Yumemi-Style Snacks explode.
  4. Refresh your allies' skill durations as needed and repeat the rotation from point one.

Advantages and Disadvantages of Yumemizuki Mizuki

Now that we've gotten a handle on Mizuki's abilities and rotation, it's time to look at her strengths and weaknesses compared to other characters:

Advantages Disadvantages
Availability, since update 5.5 is a standard character that every player can randomly obtain. The Necessity of Constellations. Needs at least a second constellation to provide allies with an elemental damage boost. Also, the fourth constellation removes the inconvenience of using the ult.
Strong driver. Has Anemo damage, giving her access to almost any squad with strong elemental sub-DDs. Like other heroes of this element, she can pull enemies together, controlling the battlefield. Low versatilityMizuki cannot play any other position than the main character in the squad, as she cannot work from the pocket and exits the stance after switching. If necessary, she can be built into a healer and played from the ult, but this is less useful than the driver role. In addition, the Dispersion buff also only works during the stance.
Increases reaction damage of Dispersion depending on your own elemental mastery. Also buffs allies' elemental damage if constellations are present. The tie is only from the ult. Mizuki won't be able to press it at will, since it only works during the elemental explosion, which still needs to be accumulated. In addition, Mizuki's tie only works on small enemies.
Easy to assemble. Only needs Elemental Mastery, as it doesn't play off Anemo damage, but Dispel. Has a high base Elemental Mastery, and also gains it from the passive ability and from the signature catalyst. Doesn't work with sub-dd from normal attacks. Mizuki's main potential as a driver is in her Dream Floating state. During this state, she cannot use normal attacks, which is why she does not work with Ye Lan, Xingqiu, Beidou.
Convenient exploration of the worldIn addition to being useful in combat, Mizuki's stance allows her to hover in the air and traverse uneven terrain by flying over it.

Best Mizuki Builds in Genshin Impact

In combat, Mizuki is a driver with healer potential, who in most cases is on the battlefield almost all the time while the Dream Floating state is in effect. Despite the fact that the main Anemo damage from skills depends on attack power, the heroine does not need this stat. To build Mizuki, you should focus on such stats as elemental mastery and energy recovery. The first will increase the damage from Dispersion, which Mizuki plays through, and the power of healing. The second will allow you to activate the elemental explosion more often, giving not only additional damage, but also tightening and healing.

Recommended characteristic values

The basis of any Mizuki build is mastery of the elements. It is necessary to increase the damage from Dispersion from the elemental skill and increase the healing from the ult. Elemental Mastery should be sought not only in secondary stats, but also in the main ones: in the watch, cup and crown.

Energy recovery for Mizuki, it's needed to consistently activate Elemental Burst. However, since her ult is quite cheap, there's no point in taking it in the watch unless she's a full-fledged healer. For this reason, VE should only be sought in sub-stats.

Attack power and crit damage/crit chance are not needed by Mizuki, as she does not deal personal Anemo damage from skills. The exception is Crete. chance, which is worth taking when wearing the Favonius Codex.

Also, the catalyst will boost allies from Mizuki's MC by 30%.

Best Artifacts

Artifacts for Mizuki should increase her Elemental Mastery or have other useful properties that affect both herself and the entire party.

NameDescriptionRecommendation

4 parts: Increases Dispersion damage by 60%. When Dispersion interacts with another element, it reduces enemy resistance to that element by 40% for 10 sec.

4 parts: Calling a reaction increases the entire party's Elemental Mastery by 120 for 8 sec.
An epic Elemental Mastery artifact set that buffs this stat not only for Mizuki, but for the entire party, enhancing not only Dispersion, but other reactions as well.

2 parts: Increases healing bonus by 15%.
If you want to build Mizuki into a healer, you can replace the two parts with MS for a healing bonus. This option is possible, but not recommended, so as not to reduce the character's damage.

Squads for Mizuki

Since Mizuki most often takes the driver position in squads, her allies must include heroes who can constantly inflict elemental status on enemies from the pocket. At the same time, Dendro and Geo characters are not suitable for her, as well as those heroes who attack with combined blows from normal attacks, for example, Ye Lan, Xingqiu, Beidou, since Mizuki plays from the state of Soaring in Dreams from the elemental skill. As for the second Anemo character, she can put one in the team, for example, to get elemental mastery bonuses from A Thousand Floating Dreams, but in most cases this option is worse than elemental squads.

Best characters

Since Mizuki herself is a damage dealer and the center of the squad, you need to pick strong sub-DDs and supports for her. Try to choose those who not only deal a lot of damage, but also successfully participate in calling reactions not only Dispersion, but also others.

Sub-dd

Secondary damage dealers, mainly attacking from the pocket:

12345
Mavuika (Pyro, two-handed sword)Xiangling (Pyro, spear)Dehya (Pyro, two-handed sword)Pyro GG (Pyro, one-handed sword)Furina (Hydro, one-handed sword)
Mona (Hydro, catalyst)Raiden (Electro, spear)Yae Miko (Electro, catalyst)Ororon (Electro, bow)Fischl (Electro, bow)
Lisa (Electro, catalyst)Ganyu (Cryo, onion)Rosary (Cryo, spear)Keia (Cryo, one-handed sword)

Sapports

Support characters who can, in addition to buffs, give a useful elemental status. Despite the fact that Mizuki can heal herself, she can put healers in her team, but those who, in addition to healing, give a status or useful buffs:

12345
Bennett (Pyro, one-handed sword)Kokomi (Hydro, catalyst)Sijwin (Hydro, onion)Dione (Cryo, onion)Citlali (Cryo, catalyst)

Top Teams

Mizuki squads can be formed through various reactions other than Dispersion, depending on what elemental sub-DDs they contain. The exceptions are Freeze squads, as there are currently no Cryo sub-DDs in the game that can consistently maintain the status on enemies throughout Mizuki's rotation and still deal decent damage.

MizukiMavuikaCitlaliShilonenA group with three characters from Natlan. Mavuika will give Mizuki Pyro from the pocket status, and will help her summon Sitlali's Meltdown. Shilonen is needed here to reduce enemy resistance to Pyro and Cryo, and also to help Mavuika gain her ult.
MizukiDehyaKeiaCitlaliA team with Cryo Resonance to increase crit chance, for example, for the successful operation of the Favonius Codex. Dehya sets his skill, after which Kaeya activates the ult. They are additionally helped by Sitlali.
MizukiXianglingDione
Laila
Ganyu
Rosary
Another option with Cryo Resonance, where the shielder's place is taken by Diona or Layla. The first one on constellations will give mastery of elements, but the second one will provide a large Cryo status. Instead of Rosaria, you can also play Ganyu through the ult, but for this she will need more energy recovery.
MizukiGanyu
Rosary
BennettKazuha
Sucrose
Team with a second Anemo character who will absorb Pyro from Bennett, which also gives attack power. Ganyu or Rosaria will provide a stable Cryo effect on the enemy.
MizukiKeiaXianglingPyro GGA group of free characters with Pyro Resonance. Xiangling and Pyro Traveler attack enemies, and the status from them causes Kaeya to inflict Melt with every third hit of his ult. Mizuki inflates all elements.

Detachments from reactions Pyro+Hydro+Electro

If desired, you can assemble teams with all elements at once:

Character 1Character 2Character 3Character 4Features
MizukiMavuikaFurinaRaidenMavuika plays off her elemental skill and occasionally activates her ult. Furina gives Hydro status and buffs her team. Raiden, like Mavuika, should use both her skill and ult for one powerful hit.
MizukiDehyaKokomi
Sijwin
Yae MikoThe second variant of a group with different elements, in which the place of Hydro sub-dd is occupied by a healer and a buffer. Dehya attacks Pyro and absorbs part of the incoming damage. Yae Miko needs time to refresh her totems and press her ult.
MizukiXiangling
Dehya
Pyro GG
Furina
Mona
Fischl
Ororon
In this team you can put any budget Pyro sub-DD, but the strongest one will be Xiangling. Furina is replaced by Mona, who, in addition to the skill, should periodically hang Omen. In the last slot you can put Fischl or Ororon for Electro.
MizukiXianglingKokomiOroronXiangling plays from the ult, and also sometimes summons Gobu. Kokomi places a field from the skill for Hydro status. Although Ororon plays best in tazers, he will be able to provide the team with Electro status.
MizukiXiangling
Pyro GG
BarbaraLisaA squad of free characters, among which you can put Xiangling or Pyro Traveler to fill the Pyro slot. Barbara heals the team and gives Hydro near enemies. Lisa needs to gain energy recovery so that she can activate the ult on cooldown.

Сonclusion

Yumemizuki Mizuki in Genshin Impact is a legendary Anemo character whose gameplay is completely focused not on her own damage, but on enhancing the Dispersion reaction. Not only does her full build through elemental mastery help her with this, but also the presence of a buff to this reaction. In the squad, the heroine plays the role of a driver, so for the most comfortable game she needs strong sub-DDs whose abilities do not depend on normal attacks, since Mizuki does not use them.

In addition to damage, Mizuki is able to heal the active character, but the healing becomes more comfortable only with the presence of constellations. In addition, the buffs of the elemental damage of the group are also tied to the constellations, without which the heroine only strengthens the reaction of Dispersion. Another disadvantage of Mizuki is that her stance does not work from the pocket, so she cannot switch to other characters without losing damage. In general, Mizuki is a good and strong character in her area, but during the banner, it is not recommended to spend spins on her when their number is limited, since later she can randomly drop from the standard banner.
