Shamachurly in Genshin impact are common enemies found throughout Teyvat. Their drop is necessary for pumping characters and weapons in the game. This guide covers in detail the types of opponents, their abilities, as well as the functions and methods of obtaining scrolls falling from them.
If you were looking experience scrolls, we offer a special article.
Types of shamachurls
Shamachurls, unlike other hilichurls, cannot but have the power of the elements. At the moment, enemies with Anemo, Dendro, Geo, Hydro, Cryo and Electro abilities have been added to the game. Regardless of the element, if you get close to the shamachurl, it will attack with a staff and deal physical damage.
Below are their images and ability descriptions:
- Anemo shamachurl. Controls the element of air.
Attacks with whirlwinds that move freely in one plane and inflict Anemo damage.
Creates an area that pulls players into it. It does no damage, but in a fight with several opponents it can cause problems.
- Hydro shamachurl. Uses the powers of water in combat, applies the Wet status with elemental attacks.
Attacks the player with streams of water. Before the impact, a water ring will appear under the feet of the acting character, after which Hydro damage will be dealt.
In battle, it is able to heal allies: an area is marked on the ground in which there is a healing rain. Enemies in it restore HP. All creatures, including the player, receive the "Wet" status from the rain.
- Cryo Shamachurl. Attacks with ice, inflicts Cryo status.
Summons a block of ice from the ground that deals Cryo damage. Before it appears, a small mark appears under the character's feet. Able to create a Cryo totem, which he immediately climbs onto. You can destroy the building with elemental (in particular Pyro and Electro) attacks. Shamachurla can also be knocked down with a bow, a stream of wind, or other attacks from a distance.
- Geo Shamachurl. Attacks with the power of stone, is able to create Geo buildings. At the moment of attack, a marked area appears under the player, on which, after a while, a spike will grow, causing Geo damage.
His special skill is the construction of Geo structures that will prevent melee characters from reaching opponents. Moreover, shamachurl is able to raise its allies on Geo pillars. You can knock them down from there with a bow, wind power, or simply by breaking Geo's building with attacks or physical attacks with a two-handed sword.
- Electro shamachurl. Attacks with electricity, inflicts Electro status.
Creates Electro totems that can be destroyed by elemental attacks. The totem deals Electro damage in an area. One shamachurl can own several buildings at the same time.
- Dendro shamachurl. Attacks with the forces of nature, imposes Dendro status.
Marks in green the area in which every standing creature, including the player, receives Dendro status. Grows thorny plants. When approaching them, they deal damage to Dendro.
Especially dangerous in conjunction with Pyro enemies, since a creature with Dendro status, when in contact with fire, receives constant Pyro damage. More about element Dendro can be found in our guide.
Where to find Shamachurls in Genshin Impact: Scroll farming routes on the map
Below are the farming routes for shamachurls. The numbers mark the teleport points to which you need to move (the order can be changed). It is recommended to return to some of them twice for faster collection of resources, however, if the game takes a long time to load, it is better to farm the scrolls in random order.
Mondstadt
Stormterror Lair
Quite a lot of shachamachurls are located both directly near the Lair and outside it. If not passed Mondstadt storyline, you should be more careful, as whirlwinds are raging in the territory that can pick up the player. Other Hilichurls often fight alongside Shamachurls, sometimes with elemental skills.
Anemo, Dendro and Hydro shamachurls live here and in the vicinity of Mondstadt.
Surroundings of Mondstadt
Several shamachurls are found on the peak and in the mountains of Stormcaller, as well as near the Temple of a Thousand Winds and in the Whispering Forest. Returning closer to the Lair, you can find several necessary opponents on the way to Andrius, as well as the Falcon Coast.
Dragon Ridge
Crio Shamachurls spawn here, but you can also meet Anemo opponents. In Dragonspine Mountain, newcomers should keep a close eye on the Grit Cold gauge to prevent characters from dying from frost.
Li Yue
Geo shamachurls appear in this region, but almost all other varieties of them are preserved, except for Krio.
Qingce Village
Several opponents are located near the village itself. The largest number of them is in the east of Qingce. Also, after moving to the statue of the Archon, you can get some scrolls if you go to the inn.
jasper forest
There are quite a lot of shamachurls near Lake Luhua in the Jasper Forest. At teleport 8, you will have to swim across the river - however, it is not wide, so there should not be any problems.
Guili Valley
A small river flows in the Guili valley. If you follow route 3, you will have to swim across it in a wider place. However, the player can always move to the teleport point again or independently reach the narrowest point in the channel. The next time a river needs to be crossed on the same route, it is routed through an island, so the character has time to rest before continuing on.
Neighborhood Li Yue
On the outskirts of Lisha, the shamachurls are located at a distance from the teleporters, but for additional resources, you can run here as well.
Guyun stone forest
The path is easiest to start from the “Guyun Domain” - the Underground. Shamachurly are in the camps.
Inazuma
Shamachurls of a new element, Electro, appear in the Land of Eternity. All other elements are preserved, except for Cryo and Geo.
Narukami Island
There are only two shamachurl locations here, and they are both conveniently located near the teleportation points: near the village of Konda and the forest of Tinju.
Yashiori and Kannazuka Islands
This type of hilichurl does not live on Yashiori Island at all, however, several shamachurls can be found east of the Kujo camp, as well as in the vicinity of Tatarasuna.
Watatsumi Island
There are not as many enemies here as on the following islands, but getting to them is not so difficult. They can be found along the coast and in the center of the island itself, in Sangonomia.
Sayray Island
On Seirai Island, there are places near the teleport to the west of Fort Hiraumi and to the west of Amakumo Peak. The second can be reached from the peak on the glider due to the high location of the teleport point.
Tsurumi Island
On Tsurumi Island, quite a few shamachurls are located around Mount Kanna. Several opponents are right next to the teleportation points - these are the most convenient places.
In addition to Tsurumi himself, shamachurls are found on small islands nearby (there is also a dungeon from which it is fastest to reach them). You can get there by wavewalker or by teleporting to dungeon "Mosiri Kara".
Encanomy
In the recently published encanomies all kinds of shamachurls are also found, except for Crio. They are located on almost all islands, except for the Serpent's Maw.
Shamachurl Scrolls in Genshin Impact
When defeating opponents, they drop scrolls of various values: Scroll of Divine Magic (1-star), Scroll of Seal (2-star), Scroll of Forbidden Curse (3-star). Rarity depends on world level and the level of the opponent.
Where to buy shamachurl scrolls
Shamachurl Scrolls can also be purchased with Stardust at the Paimon Store. However, please note that purchases are limited to a certain number of pieces per month.
Scrolls of shamachurls in alchemy
You can increase the value of the resource on the alchemy table. To get a more valuable material, you need to spend 3 scrolls of a lower value.
For this, it is recommended to use sucrose, as it has a 10% chance to spawn an additional item.
