Tribbi Guide in Honkai: StarRail — a quantum character of the Path of Harmony, who, despite initially belonging to the support class, is capable of not only strengthening allies, but also dealing good damage to the area with the help of the ultimate and bonus attack of the talent.
The buffs offered by the heroine, such as increased penetration of all types of resistance and increased damage, will be useful to many units. However, due to the specifics of how skills work, in particular, the super ability, Tribby is best combined with those who inflict mass damage.
Based on the main mechanics of the character, we can distinguish different build options that represent specific combinations of stats, equipment, and allies. It is on this basis that the guide is compiled, which includes the most recommended equipment and optimal teams.

Tribby's biography in Honkai: Star Rail
Tribby of Honkai: Star Rail is a three-faced messenger chosen by prophecy along with the other "Golden Descendants". Along with her, two other holy maidens can be found in Janusopolis, one of the largest cities in Amphoraeus: the gatekeeper Trianna and the priestess Trinnona. They are better known as Tribios, under the title of "Daughters of Destiny", who draw their power from the flame core of the titan of the gate of Janus. The prophecy states that Tribby must "pass through a thousand doors" to deliver the decree and help restore the world.

Features
Tribby's ascension increases her base attack, defense, and health stats. Her speed and taunt do not change with level, but can only be adjusted by external sources such as relics, weapons, or other characters.

Basic skills
Tribby is an atypical Path of Harmony character, as buffing allies is not her only function. She also deals damage to all enemies using her ultimate and bonus attacks, which helps her deal with groups of smaller enemy targets.
Of course, the heroine cannot completely replace a secondary damage dealer of the attacking class due to her initial focus, but at the same time she shows herself quite well as an additional source of mass damage, especially in the presence of quantum vulnerability.
In short, Tribby's skills are as follows:
- Basic Attack - minor damage to multiple targets.
- Emboldening Salvo - increased penetration of all types of resistance of partners.
- Superpower - Increases incoming damage to enemies and damage dealt.
- Talent - Conducting a bonus attack after allies use their ult.
Now, to finally understand how Tribby's abilities work, let's look at each skill in more detail. In addition, we'll explain the sequence of their pumping.
Active skills
The heroine's basic active skills include: technique, basic attack, skill и superpowerThese skills are designed to specifically distribute buffs and damage, giving the team an advantage during combat.
If you are happy, clap your hands
Technique "If you are happy, clap your hands" || Strengthening
After using the technique at the beginning of the battle, activates the "Consecration" status, which lasts for 3 turns.
Hundred rockets
Basic Attack "Hundred Missiles" || Explosive Strike
Deals quantum damage to the selected target equal to 15-30% from max HP. Additionally deals quantum damage to nearby enemies, which is 7,5-15% from max. HP.
Where did the gifts go?
Skill "Where did the gifts go?" || Support
Grants the status "Consecration" for 3 turns. The duration of this effect is reduced by 1 turn at the start of each of Tribby's actions. While the status is active, the piercing of all types of allies' resistances is increased by 12-24%.
Guess who lives here
Super Ability "Guess Who Lives Here" || AoE (120 energy)
Creates a zone and deals quantum damage to all enemies equal to 15-30% from max HP. While the zone exists, enemies receive 15-30% more damage. After an ally attacks, deals additional quantum damage to the target with the highest health among all mobs hit, amounting to 6-12% from max HP, 1 additional time for each monster hit. The zone remains active for 2 turns. Its duration is reduced by 1 turn at the beginning of each character action.
Passive skills
Passive skills contain талант, which allows the heroine to deal even more damage during battle at the expense of her allies.
Tribby and her worries
Talent "Tribby and Her Troubles" || AoE
After one of his allies uses his super ability, Tribby performs a bonus attack and deals quantum damage to all enemies equal to 9-18% from max HP. The effect works no more than 1 time for each character.
When Tribby uses her Ultimate, the number of procs for all team members is reset. If an enemy dies before the bonus attack is performed, it is launched at new targets that enter the battlefield.
The order of leveling abilities
Super Ability > Skill/Talent > Basic Attack
Recommended skill improvement sequence:
- Superpower - one of the main sources of damage, as well as a key boost for allies in the form of increased damage dealt to enemies.
- Emboldening Salvo и талант — are pumped up depending on what task is the highest priority for Tribbi. For example, if the messenger acts only as a support, then preference is given to the skill. If you need to deal more damage with a bonus attack in an area, you can first increase the talent level.
- Basic Attack - Not particularly important for the support position in terms of leveling, but allows you to deal more damage to multiple targets, restore energy and skill points while the Consecration status is active.

Eidolons
All Tribby cons:
E1 | While the Super's zone is active and after allies attack enemies, true damage equal to 24% of that attack's total damage is dealt to enemies that took additional damage from the zone. |
E2 | The additional damage dealt by the zone is increased by 120% of the initial damage. After dealing damage from the zone, the additional damage is dealt once more. |
E3 | Super Ability Level +2. Max Level - 15. Basic Attack Level +1. Max Level - 10. |
E4 | While Consecration is active, damage dealt by allies ignores 18% of enemy targets' defense. |
E5 | Skill level +2. Talent level +2. Max level - 15. |
E6 | When Tribby uses her ultimate, she automatically performs a talent bonus attack against all enemies. The damage dealt by the bonus attack is increased by 729%. |
The best Eidolons of Tribby are E1, E2 и E4:
- First consta allows you to deal more damage with the super ability after allies hit enemies, which has a positive effect on the team's final damage. Moreover, it is the true damage that is added, which is fixed.
- Second Const. is also linked to the Ultimate and directly increases the damage of this ability. Additionally, when enemies take damage from the zone after being hit by squad members, another additional damage is triggered once.
- Fourth Consta gives the squad the ability to ignore 18% of enemy defense, which in total significantly increases incoming DPS on enemy targets. However, the "Consecration" status from a skill or technique must be active for this to work.
If you want to invest in a character as a F2P player, it is recommended to go with E2.
How to play Tribby - rotation
The gameplay of the messenger from Amphoreus cannot be called standard, as for a representative of the Path of Harmony, since she combines two roles at once, thereby expanding the range of her capabilities during the battle. In particular, Tribby's skills allow her to simultaneously strengthen allies and inflict quantum damage over an area.
It is worth noting that the heroine is able to perform moves quickly or slowly depending on the chosen build. However, this does not have a significant impact on the final sequence of actions - only the damage inflicted changes to a greater extent.
The main task remains to ensure that the messenger can each second move activate ultimate. A similar outcome can be achieved with the help of allies (thanks to the mechanics of the third trace, which restores energy for attacks of partners) or independently, if you have the necessary equipment and characteristics.
The Tribby rotation is as follows:
- It is recommended to start with equipment, due to which the "Consecration" status will immediately appear at the beginning of the battle for 3 turns. This will save skill points for the team and will allow you not to wait for the turn for the buff to start working.
- When the turn comes, it is mainly used basic attack. The need for this skill may only arise if there is a lack of speed/energy in combination with allies who do not activate the third trace so often.
- In the future, to constantly maintain the status of "Consecration", it will be necessary to alternate 1 skill and 2 basic attacks. In addition, this option makes it possible to bring the squad into the “plus” in terms of skill point consumption.
- The ultimate is used as soon as it is ready - ideally no later than 2 turns after activation. The ultimate not only applies a buff, but also resets the number of bonus attack procs after allies use their ultimates once.
Advantages and Disadvantages of Tribby
Tribby is a valuable representative of the Path of Harmony for many damage dealers. However, despite her usefulness, she has certain "pros" and "cons". It is important to consider all the strengths and weaknesses of the heroine if you plan to use her in a team.
Advantages | Disadvantages |
Offers versatile and powerful buffs, which directly increase the DPS of the entire team. Thanks to this, Tribby can combine with any damage dealers, and it doesn’t matter at all whether they play from penetration or periodic damage. | Works worse against single targets because the third trail restores energy after an allied attack for each enemy hit. As a result, the superpower gauge will fill up slower than in scenarios where there is a battle against a crowd of enemies. |
Has good damage of its own, which comes from the superpower and the talent's bonus attack. Moreover, the damage is distributed to all opponents, which makes it easier to deal with clusters of small mobs. | It follows from the first point that Tribby Doesn't pair so well with heroes without splash damage or those who rarely attack. She remains a useful support for them anyway, but the build becomes more complicated, since you will have to focus more on speed. |
Highly effective in AoE content allows the heroine to ideally act as a support for the passage "Pure Fiction". With her in the team, closing this mode will become much easier and more comfortable. | For maximum exposure in terms of DPS dealt It is advisable to unlock the eidolons — optimally up to E2. The heroine is good against small monsters even without awakenings, but only with consts does she become a truly strong combat unit. |
Great synergy with Erudite heroes thanks to the third trace, which provides energy when partners hit enemy targets. It is worth mentioning separately Great Gerta (Erudition: Ice), which benefits greatly from its alliance with Tribby. | |
Economical in consuming skill points. The duration of the "Consecration" status is 3 turns, which allows you to alternate 1 skill and 2 basic attacks. Thus, Tribby will create an additional skill point. |

Best Tribby Builds in Honkai: Star Rail
Tribby in HSR is a hybrid character of the Path of Harmony, performing the functions of both support and secondary damage dealer. Therefore, for full effectiveness in battle and helping the team, it is necessary to take into account its features and mechanics when selecting stats:
- All skills scale from HPAs a result, the main emphasis is placed on health.
- Ultimate is an important skill, which means it will come in handy energy recovery.
- Since the gameplay involves dealing damage, you need Crete. damage и Crete. chance.
In addition, as mentioned earlier, the super ability is one of the key "buttons". Tribby can charge it with more frequent actions or with the help of allies if the third trail is open. For example, in a standard group with representatives of the Erudite, the ultimate is easily restored passively even at low speed, since these heroes attack in the area and are quite active.
The "slow" build is a classic for the Amphoreus Messenger, as it works well in most situations. However, the character is still able to place a greater emphasis on development. speeds, and there are scenarios where this actually makes sense.
To clearly determine how to assemble Tribby in XSR, let's take a closer look at both assemblies.
"Slow" build (priority) | "Quick" build (optional) |
No need to refresh the "Consecration" status from the skill often. Skill points for the team are generated more slowly. | More frequent use of the skill. At the same time, more active generation of skill points within the cycle. |
Easy build, higher damage due to HP boots equipped and "flexibility" in terms of equipment choice. | The character is more difficult to assemble and at the same time sags in personal damage. Fewer suitable equipment options. |
Initially, the heroine is effective in AoE content, where even without speed she steadily restores energy from the trail. | In situational fights, when there are few enemies or the main DPS does not deal damage in the area, speed will allow you not to lose energy. |
No superpower within the start of the battle without assistance from allies or the signature cone. | The build is relevant if the team has enough sources of damage. Therefore, you can sacrifice HP for the sake of speed. |
Overall, fewer ultimates are used throughout the battle, despite having the same buff duration and refresh rate. | More super powers, which also creates good synergy with the Dance! Dance! Dance! Cone and the Twilight Reach Eagle set. |

Best light cone
Weapons for Tribby (Harmony: Quantum) should match her Path and also offer useful bonuses to both the heroine and her allies. However, the most important ones to pay attention to are cones with energy restoration and action progress. The table shows the most suitable options.
Name | Description | Comment |
---|---|---|
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 58-1270 ATK 24-529 DEF 18-463 | Increases crit. damage per 36-60%. After performing a bonus attack, the character restores 12 units. energy and gains the "Omen" status, which lasts for 2 turns. While this status is active, the critical damage of all allies is increased by 48-96%At the beginning of the battle, the owner receives 21 units. energy and activates the "Omen" status for 2 turns. | Tribby's signature cone helps her super ability, which is the heroine's most important skill, charge faster, and also increases her allies' and her own crit damage. These increases have a positive effect on the team's overall damage and make rotation easier. However, it is worth considering that the crit bonus will be useless in groups due to penetration or periodic damage. |
⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 43-952 ATK 19-423 Protectiona: 18-396 | When a character uses their ultimate, all allies' actions move forward by 16-24%. | An extremely powerful epic cone that allows allies to move more often due to the progress of actions. Tribby aims to constantly cast her ultimate (ideally every other turn), which means she can take advantage of the passive effect. It will also be useful to her as well as her team, as more active turns = more attacks that restore energy from the trail. |
⭐⭐⭐ HP 38-846 ATK 14-317 DEF 12-264 | After the character hits or takes damage, it is restored 4-8 energy unit. This effect can only occur once per turn. | A versatile budget alternative with additional energy boost. The Amphoreus Messenger mainly uses the basic attack during her turn, and when equipped with this weapon, she will be able to restore even more energy from hits (on the fifth overlay it turns out to be about the same as from the skill). |
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 43-953 ATK 28-635 DEF 21-463 | Each hit from an ally imposes 1 level of Cantillation status on the character. Each level increases the owner's energy recovery speed by 3-5% up to max lvl 5. Using the ult removes the Cantillation status and applies Cadence. This effect increases the wearer's attack power by 48-96% and damage dealt by allies, on 24-40% for 1 turn. | Light Cone works well with the final trace, which similarly grants energy for allies' attacks, which together will only enhance the effect. And while the Cadence status will not benefit the heroine herself due to the fact that her skills scale from HP and not from attack power, it will offer allies an increase in all damage dealt. This, in turn, also combines with the buff from the messenger's super ability. |
⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 43-952 ATK 19-423 DEF 18-396 | Increases the penetration effect by 28-56%. When a character makes a hit, restores 4-8 unit of energy. This effect can only be activated once per turn. | The penetration effect cannot be called a fundamental characteristic, but one way or another, thanks to constant bonus attacks and damage from the ult, the heroine can potentially reduce the durability of enemies to 0. At the same time, quantum penetration is quite strong in itself. First of all, the weapon is considered for energy recovery, if for some reason the previous options are missing. |
⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 43-952 ATK 21-476 DEF 15-330 | At the start of the battle and the character's turn, 1 random effect is triggered: the attack power of all allies increases by 10-20%; all allies' critical damage is increased by 12-24%; the energy recovery rate of all allies is increased by 6-12%. These effects replace each other and do not repeat. Such effects also cannot be stacked, and they are removed when the owner dies. | A good option that can be worn in a team with a classic damage dealer who plays from attack power and crit. damage. In other cases, even taking into account the presence of a buff on VE, the light cone remains situational. This is due to the randomness of the buffs, and energy can be critically important for Tribby personally. |
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 52-1164 ATK 24-529 DEF 21-463 | Increases crit. damage per 32-60%. At the beginning of the battle, the character receives the "Mask" status, which lasts for 3 turns. When the wearer is under the "Mask" status, the critical chance of all allies increases by 10-14%, and crit. damage - by 28-56%. When a character recovers a skill point (including skill points that exceed the limit), gains 1 level of "Colorful Flame" charge. When the number of levels of this status rises to 4, all levels of "Colorful Flame" disappear and "Mask" is given for 4 turns. | Cone has high base HP due to legendary status, gives additional crit. damage to the messenger, and also increases crit. indicators of allies. However, the problem is that the heroine restores skill points only with a basic attack, which is why the buff for the team will work unstable. In addition, there is no energy regeneration. |
⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 43-952 ATK 19-423 DEF 18-396 | When a character uses a basic attack, skill, or super ability, inflicts the "Childishness" status on all allies. This status increases the damage dealt by the corresponding ally's skill by 12-20%The "Childishness" status only works with the last skill used by the owner and does not stack. | An epic weapon with an unusual passive that is tied to the rotation of the carrier and the rest of the squad. Tribby herself most often uses the basic attack and super ability, which means that the cone is optimally combined with damage dealers who deal most of the damage with these abilities. Moreover, regarding the ult, it is important to note that the messenger initially combines well with such characters. |
⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 48-1058 ATK 19-423 DEF 15-330 | At the start of combat, when an ally deals damage of the same type as the owner's type, the elemental damage they deal is increased by 12-24%. | A possible option if the heroine plays in a monoquantum team or simply in combination with a damage dealer of her element. Light cone increases elemental damage, and the effect lasts for the entire battle. However, it is recommended to make sure that the character has enough energy for the super ability without the bonus from the light cone. |
Best relics
Artifacts for Tribby are chosen based on the build she plays. Therefore, it is important to highlight situations in which sets become most preferable. As for bonuses and characteristics, these can be crits, HP, elemental damage, energy recovery or various buffs for allies.
cave relics
Name | Effects | Comment |
---|---|---|
2 parts: Increases quantum damage by 10%. 4 parts: Decreases speed by 8%. If the speed before the battle starts is lower than 110 or 95, the critical chance increases by 20% or 32% respectively. This effect also applies to the Spirit of Memory. | One of the best sets, which increases critical chance many times, allowing you to equip critical damage in the "body" of relics without any losses. In exchange for this, the speed decreases, dropping to 88 units (with a base value of 96 units). The set is used exclusively in the standard build at low speed. In this case, it is advisable to avoid the corresponding characteristic in sub-stats, so that the maximum increase is always given. | |
2 parts: Increases wind damage by 10%. 4 parts: After using the Ultimate, the action moves forward by 25%. | The optimal option for a "fast" build and a speed of 123 units. It is aimed at getting enough energy to use the ult and an additional action until the end of the second cycle, including against a small number of enemies or in a squad with single-target allies. Ideally equipped in pairs with the "Dance! Dance! Dance!" cone for maximum efficiency. | |
2 parts: Increases max. HP by 12%. 4 parts: When the character receives an attack or when an ally spends HP, the critical rate increases by 8% for 2 turns. The effect can be stacked up to 2 times. | A situational set for increasing your own damage. Its main drawback is the inconsistency of the buff, since the envoy will have to constantly be under attack (or play with HP-removing teammates) to activate the second part of the passive. If the requirement is met, it will be an acceptable alternative to the first set. | |
2 parts: Increases quantum damage by 10%. 4 parts: When dealing damage, the character ignores 10% of the enemy's defense. If the selected enemy has a weakness to the quantum element, an additional 10% of defense is ignored. | The set can be equipped in any build. However, in a slow build it is inferior to the "Elegy-singing Rhapsodist", and in a fast build it is less optimal than the "Eagle of the Twilight Reach". Thus, it is a more universal option, but loses to specialized sets in their niche. It is mainly used if more suitable stats have dropped or if other sets have not yet been fully assembled. | |
× × | 2 parts: Increases quantum damage by 10%. 2 parts: Increases max. HP by 12%. 2 parts: Increases speed by 6%. | The presented relics can be combined with each other to increase specific stats in between farming full sets. For example, in the classic build, 2 parts for quantum damage and 2 parts for HP are installed, and in the speed build, any of the previous ones are combined with the "Herald wandering in the hacker space". |
planar decorations
Name | Effects | Comment |
---|---|---|
2 parts: Increases HP by 12%. If the wearer's HP is 5 or more, the character's and Memory Spirit's critical damage is increased by 000%. | An excellent DPS set with increased critical damage and health, which scales all of Tribby's offensive abilities. In tandem with the "Elegy Rhapsodist", you can get an additional 32% critical chance and 28% critical damage without taking into account the primary and secondary stats, if the requirements of both sets are met. For this reason, as a rule, it is used in the "slow" build, which also makes it easier to reach 5 HP thanks to the equipment of the corresponding boots. | |
2 parts: Increases energy recovery speed by 5%. If the owner is not the first position in the team, the attack power of the first member of the squad increases by 12%. | Energy regeneration is an important indicator, since it is important for the Amphoreus messenger to constantly activate her superpower. Therefore, if you are looking to diversify the heroine's supporting mechanics, and not her own damage, this decoration will be the optimal choice, provided that the main damage dealer is the first in the team, and his skills scale with attack power. | |
2 parts: Increases energy recovery speed by 5%. If the character's speed is 120 or higher, the action moves forward by 40% at the start of battle. | An option for equipping in a speed build, where the minimum recommended speed value is exactly 120 units. A similar indicator is required when using this decoration. Combines with the "Eagle of the Twilight Frontier", which also advances the action, but after the activation of the super ability. In this case, the opportunity opens up to further speed up the rotation and charge the ultimate closer to the beginning of the fight. | |
2 parts: Increases crit. 8% chance. If critical chance is greater than or equal to 50%, then the damage of superpowers and bonus attacks increases by 15%. | A decent combat set with increased crit chance, as well as ult damage and bonus attack. Less effective in this niche than Silent Land of Bones, since it will not affect additional damage. However, in any case, it will enhance attacking abilities if the character's own crit chance is at least 50%. | |
2 parts: Increases energy recovery speed by 5%. Increases damage dealt by allies of the same type as the wearer by 10%. | An alternative option with energy recovery. Most optimal in monoquantum team, but will also work in the case of various elements if the main DPS character has a quantum element. In other cases, to increase VE, it is better to give preference to the Mermaid, Flooded Shores set due to a more universal requirement for activating the passive effect. | |
2 parts: Increases HP by 12%. If the character's speed is 120 or more, the attack power of all party members increases by 8%. | Slightly worse for the "fast" build, as it does not advance the action or restore energy. However, it increases HP, which will have a positive effect on damage, which is not so high in this version of the build, and will also strengthen allies. If the rotation is built properly without the planar ornament, you can equip this set to distribute an additional buff in the form of attack power. |
Squads for Tribby
In XSR, Tribby is a follower of the Path of Harmony with universal buffs that will be useful to many characters (increasing overall damage and penetration of all types of resistance). However, her mechanics still suggest synergy with AoE damage dealers. This primarily includes representatives of the Path of Erudition, as well as some units of Destruction, Memory or Nothingness. This is due to the peculiarity of the third trace, which restores energy for each enemy target hit by an ally.
In addition, Tribby interacts well with:
- Damage dealers scaling from HP. Considering that the heroine offers effects that directly increase DPS, she will suit such fighters. This area also includes those who play from penetration of vulnerability or DoT damage.
- Heroes who specialize in bonus attack. This is where we consider fighters who are not prone to massive damage. However, with sufficient acceleration speed and constant bonus attack, they can still charge the messenger's super ability.
Additionally, it is worth noting that Tribby's bonus attacks only trigger from the use of ultimates allies. This should also be taken into account when selecting a team. Ideally, her partners should rely on their superpowers and activate them consistently.
In any case, the heroine can be combined with any DPS characters if desired. However, it is important to make sure that she is able to restore the ultimate every 2 turns without outside support. It is in such cases that the use of a speed build becomes relevant.

The table shows the units that synergize best with Tribby:
Character | Damage Path and Type | Features |
---|---|---|
Tribby can be called one of the best Harmony supports for Great Hertha, because the characters complement each other perfectly:
| ||
A comfortable secondary hero for the passage of "Pure Fiction", where Tribby also demonstrates his best results. With the help of the skill, he imposes the status on one ally "Debt Collector", which increases his speed and allows him to deal additional damage. At the same time, Jasper herself quite actively uses the bonus attack against a group of enemies. | ||
The character places a strong emphasis on her superpower, which is her main source of damage. This, in turn, ensures that the messenger's bonus attack is triggered, and the fact that Argenti consistently deals damage to all enemies allows her to charge her energy bar without any problems. All this creates excellent synergy between the heroes. | ||
The General summons the Lightning Lord, who fights simultaneously with the rest of the team. Both the character and his assistant deal damage to a group of enemy targets. Although the ultimate is not Jing Yuan's key skill, he is able to charge it fairly quickly due to the constant triggering of the bonus attack and the low cost. | ||
A damage dealer with a mass damage from the standard banner. Often plays in a pair with another DPS character. Can deal with advancing waves of enemies both with active skills and passively with the help of a bonus attack. In any build, Tribby's buffs will be highly appreciated, in exchange for providing her with third-party energy regeneration. | ||
AoE damage dealer who plays from vulnerability penetration. Relies heavily on his ult, which allows him to enter a special state. "Seal Form", and then uses a strengthened strike. The messenger from Amphoreus not only helps her with buffs in the form of increasing the penetration of all types of resistance and overall damage, but also periodically penetrates the weaknesses of enemies, accumulating charges of talent. | ||
An extremely convenient and easy-to-use heroine. She does not consume many skill points, while quickly charging her superpower at optimal speed. In combination with Tribby, if she plays the role of a sub-DD, it is advisable to make Serval fast enough, especially if she is put in a squad with Great Gerta. In this case, it may even make sense to equip her with the "Eagle of the Twilight Boundary". | ||
A free heroine that deals damage in an area. In terms of her simplicity and effectiveness in terms of implementation as a secondary damage dealer, she is comparable to Serval, and in Pure Fiction she shows herself even better. The girl carries out a bonus attack against enemies whose health drops to half or less. In a squad with the Amphoreus Messenger and other AoE units, she activates follow-up attacks almost continuously. | ||
The Fortune Teller is also a free character, but at the same time has high stats. The only caveat is the "randomness" mechanic embedded in her abilities, which makes the final damage inconsistent. Despite this, Qingque remains a worthy representative of the Path of Erudition, and interacts especially well with Tribby if you have E4. | ||
Aglaya benefits greatly from the messenger buffs, as they complement her own set of buffs very well. She can perform multiple area attacks with her spirit of memory (affecting up to 6 targets), which allows her to activate the additional damage from Tribby's super ability and also restore her energy. | ||
She can play a primary or secondary role in a team, while also acting as a tank. She deals decent damage to multiple opponents thanks to her constant counterattack if she maintains the Taunt effect. In addition, she has an inexpensive ultimate that will allow the envoy to perform bonus attacks. To maximize synergy, it is advisable to have E1 on Tribbi. | ||
Midei's skills depend on HP, which means buffs will be quite useful for him. This is due to the fact that the messenger's buffs increase damage directly without being tied to specific characteristics. The hero himself actively deals damage to several targets and can independently advance his action with the help of talent, thereby making additional moves. | ||
Galactic Ranger is a powerful damage dealer with skills that work on multiple enemies. However, her classic squad includes two heroes from the Void. The situation changes only with E2 or without a healer/shielder. Although Tribby will be a great support even for Acheron E0, especially if she has a "Dance! Dance! Dance!" light cone to push the action. | ||
Despite the fact that Feixiao belongs to the Path of the Hunt, she has some AoE potential. However, another “plus” of hers is the frequent damage infliction when using the bonus attack. In such a composition, other characters also actively deal damage, which allows the envoy to accumulate energy. In turn, Tribby will be useful to her in content that is more focused on mass damage. |
The following are optional heroes that can benefit from interacting with Tribby:
- Primary and secondary DPS characters:
1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 |
---|---|---|---|---|
- Healers and shield guardians:
1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 |
---|---|---|---|---|
- Debuffers and Buffers:
1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 |
---|---|---|---|---|
Top Teams
The following squads can be formed with Tribby:
Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
---|---|---|---|---|
A team in which Tribby reveals her potential to the maximum. Great Gerta together with another Erudite character allows the Amphoraeus envoy to restore her energy quite quickly in any situation. At the same time, Tribby helps her allies with buffs and additional damage. | ||||
Jing Yuan is an Erudite damage dealer with a summoned minion. So, in addition to Tribby, he can effectively play with Memory Pathfinder and Resurrection. Aglaya and Midey do not have the same AoE potential, but they still deal damage to multiple targets quite actively and also benefit from the supports presented. | ||||
Tribby works well in teams that use bonus attack. In this case, the first eidolon becomes especially relevant, allowing allies to deal additional true damage during the existence of the ult zone. Moreover, the damage goes through the densest enemy target, which will be appreciated by Feixiao and Ratio. | ||||
The Galactic Ranger needs two Path of Nothingness characters to fully work the trail. However, the number is reduced to one if the second eidolon is open. In the case of Tribby, there are several options for the arrangement depending on the eidolons on Acheron:
| ||||
A Vulnerability Penetration Squad with Rappa or Firefly, who are great at reducing enemy durability while dealing consistent damage. Since Firefly is a Destruction hero and can't lock on all targets, it's best to use Fugue as a debuffer/secondary damage dealer or Himeko with her. | ||||
The Amphoreus Envoy increases the DPS of the entire party directly, which is why she will fit into a classic squad from periodic damage with Kafka in the main position. Since there are two damage dealers here, and they attack several enemies, Tribby will be able to restore energy even at a low speed. | ||||
A team with damage dealers of the Path of Destruction. Tribby is not an exclusive choice for them, but thanks to universal buffs in the form of increased penetration of all types of resistance and general damage, she is suitable as a primary or secondary support. The main thing is to make sure that she activates the ult every 2 turns, adjusting the speed value if necessary. | ||||
A monoquantum squad consisting of characters of one element. The main slot is occupied by a damage dealer of any Path, depending on the content being completed. Despite the fact that the messenger with her buffs will suit any hero, as in the previous build, it is important to consider how actively the partners restore energy. For example, in the case of single-target Zele, a “fast” build on Tribby may be needed. | ||||
A party with characters from the standard banner. Himeko and Clara's combination works well with Tribby due to their constant damage, including area and multi-target damage. Things get trickier with Yanqing, as he is a representative of the Way of the Hunt. However, this can be compensated for by a secondary damage dealer with AoE damage and the messenger's own speed. |
While providing a detailed Tribbi guide in Honkai: Star Ray, it is important to consider budget teams for beginners:
Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
---|---|---|---|---|
A squad with two Path of Erudite damage dealers for stable mass damage. This composition will allow you to easily activate the third trace of Tribby and generate energy, since several units attack several targets at once. The main DPS character can be any hero from the first or second position. | ||||
An alternative build where another support is added. It is advisable to use a support that also deals damage, so that the lack of an additional damage-dealing hero does not affect Tribby so much (if she has low speed). For example, Memory Pathfinder or Asta are suitable for this purpose. | ||||
Path of Destruction characters deal damage to multiple enemies, but mostly concentrate on one enemy. For this reason, if Tribby does not make moves quickly enough, it is better to use two damage dealers at the same time, as in the first team. In addition, you can pay attention to Tingyun, who directly restores energy to one ally. | ||||
Path of the Hunt heroes tend to play against single targets, which doesn't really fit with Tribby's mechanics. However, she can still be a support for such units if she's fast enough. There's also the option of using Erudite in the second position. |
Is Tribby Worth Getting in Honkai: Star Rail
Tribby is a legendary heroine of the Path of Harmony and offers allies such buffs as increased penetration of all types of resistance and overall damage. Such enhancements are quite universal due to the direct impact on damage, which allows using the messenger from Amphoraeus for literally any DPS character. However, Tribby is not considered a classic support, as she has attacking skills in her arsenal. In particular, she deals damage with the help of a super ability and a bonus attack of a talent.
It is important for the heroine to charge her superpower on a stable basis in order to be as effective as possible. Her partners can help her with this thanks to a trace that restores energy if squad members hit enemy targets. Thus, the messenger works great with AoE damage dealers, dealing damage in an area, as this allows her to ult frequently without the active participation of the heroine herself. At the same time, she is still able to take the initiative and use a “speed” build, which will be in demand in battles against a smaller number of enemies in combination with single-target heroes.
To sum it up, Tribby is worth picking if you need a support with universal buffs in a team created for passing "Pure Fiction". In particular, it is one of the best units for Great Hertha (Erudition: Ice) thanks to the perfect synergy between their mechanics and focus on mass damage. It is in this segment that the character reveals itself in the best way. Nevertheless, it is worth noting that, if desired, she can be a support in absolutely any group and bring benefits there if you adjust the build in the direction of increased speed. However, in the latter case, there are often no less worthy alternatives.
What is better for Tribby - Signal or E1
Let's take a closer look at the features offered by the Eidolon and Signature Cone:
- E1 is a very strong consistency that allows you to apply additional true damage while the super ability zone is active. This helps increase the overall DPS of the entire team, and also makes the heroine stronger against dense enemies, since the damage is concentrated on the target with the largest health reserve.
- Signa is primarily aimed at simplifying the build by increasing crit damage and energy regeneration. However, it will also be useful for some squads if the main DD also cares about crit. This is a great option for the classic Tribbe build, and it gives the opportunity to ult closer to the start of the fight.
Overall, the Cone does make the build process more comfortable, which can be a priority in certain situations. However, the first Eidolon is a versatile and powerful buff for the entire party, regardless of the party composition or content being played. Plus, there are other great gear options, like 4⭐ Dance! Dance! Dance! or 3⭐ Interlocking Gears.
